Help on Logcat for sensors problem - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Ok so I'm getting this spam of errors for the sensors. While the spam active my sensors do not work, first thing to notice is the auto rotate. Then I used GPS Status and Androsensor apps and they both do not get a reading from the sensors. Now I've searched almost all of the interwebz but I can't find anything related or somebody who has found or understood this Logcat. This happens with stock kernels and custom kernels, stock ROM and custom ROMs. On some customs kernels, once I flash them it never even starts working.
If somebody has the knowledge here to interpret the Logcat and help me pinpoint the issue that would be much appreciated.

I honestly have no idea. I toggle the autorotation on and off but it does nothing. If I entered in the terminal emulator:
su
stop sensors (it stops spamming)
start sensors (it starts back up)

OK so I have an update to this. Flashed back to stock 4.4 and everything works fine even with custom kernels that never worked before. However if I update to 4.4.2 (stock or any custom ROM except CM or CM based ones) it breaks and stops working. On CM and CM based ones it works but without the custom kernels since I use Franco kernel and it is not compatible.
Anyone have an idea as to what could be the cause for this to happen? What is in 4.4.2 that is breaking the auto rotate and the rest of the sensors.

[Q] NFC Battery Drain Problem

I've experienced this NFC battery drain problem in the JB versions and now the KK versions of almost all the ROMs including stock ROMs. Deleting (or just restricting the permissions) the nfc.apk from ./system/apk/ folder did the trick for ROMs up to CM 10.2 (or for other JB based ROMs). But in KitKat based ROMs it is no longer a solution. Once you delete the apk or restrict permissions, Settings will force close when opened. The screenshot given below shows the battery drain happened in one night, everything (data / wifi / location / sync) in turned off state. The installed ROM is CM 11 M6.

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The NFC option is grayed out in Settings as seen in the screenshot and it seems it's permanently turned on.
I've waited for the device to complete a few battery full cycles with CM 11 M6.
Tried almost all so-called-solutions, but none of them really helped.
The problem is there in both Dalvik and ARC run times.
Went back to the official ICS ROM and the battery lasts for almost a day. So, the issue is not with the battery.
A possible solution is to bring back the ability to disable / delete nfc.apk without causing Settings to FC. It will be great if somebody can do a flashable package to make this happen. :fingers-crossed:
OR
Is there any other possible solution for this? If there is nothing else, it seems like I should go back to JB ROMs.

Front Camera and Proximity Sensors not working in my Micromax A110q

Let me Explain what exactly happened
Changed the Touch screen 20 days back. Due to some misplacement of the Touch, Half of the Front camera is covered by the black spot. and screen never goes to OFF when i move the phone to ear. I left that as it is. But Yesterday I again changed the Touch screen so that i can use my Front camera and and Proximity sensors work.
But After changing i cannot find and Front camera switch in Camera options. also i tried installing apps for front camera but doesn't help. and whenever i try to make call screen goes OFF totally until the call ends by other person.
I also tried Reset, Clear Dalvik cache, Flashing Stock Rom again using SP Flash tools
Before all everything works perfectly.. Please help me to sort out the issue.

Dont know this help you or not but try To flash any custom rom.
I tried flashing custom ROMs too... But no improvement. I am zero at development. If someone can help with a CWM flashable zip file to disable proximity sensor would be much appreciated

[Q] Red flashing frame on screen

Hi,
yesterday I unlocked the bootloader on my Moto G (1st Gen.) and installed CM12 - which worked fine.
Today I've installed Xposed Framework along with several modules, and after a while I've started noticing a red frame randomly (?) flashing on the screen.
I've looked around for a solution, but in my case it is not related to the Strict Mode in Dev Options - they weren't even enabled. I also tried to edit build.prop adding a couple of lines but that didn't help either. (Yes, I rebooted)
Does anybody have the same issue? Could it be due to Xposed? Any ideas?
Thanks.
It must be off.

Update : I bricked my phone and I had to reinstall CM12.1 and everything else but the problem still occurs. I've got the nightly version, anybody has been experiencing the same issue?

Disable Lockscreen - Android Nougat

Hi
Anyone know of a way that I can disable the lock screen? I finally got my partner to upgrade her GS7 from MM to Nougat and it's all good except that there is no longer the option for no lockscreen
The phone isn't rooted and I have tried a few apps that disables the lockscreen but I assume the phone won't let it run in background because they only work for a short time
Is there a way to change the lockscreen type to none via ADB?
Thanks,

Strange, that screenshot of mine is running the latest version of Nougat
Do you have secure startup enabled? Maybe another security setting is preventing you from disabling lockscreen security
Nope nothing like that. Was fine before upgrade and now the option just isn't there. Oh well I'll just have to hope to find out why the apps stop working, probably to do with doze.
Thanks anyway

Have you factory reset since the update to Nougat?
Always recommended after a major upgrade as it generally leaves behind bugs, battery drain, and possibly weird things like this
I'd backup and reset the phone because that option should be there
