Possible 4.4 officially? - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Just read a couple of articles and apparently HTC (taken with a grain of salt, of course) is "actively exploring" the possibility of KitKat for the US HTC One X. Who knows. Could be real. http://m.gsmarena.com/htc_is_looking_into_updating_the_us_htc_one_x_to_android_4_4-news-7826.php

This has already been discussed elsewhere within our forum.

I've read that HTC confirmed that there won't be any more updates, but as this article was written at a later date, it could be true.

MultiTasking issues

Hi guys,
I am using a HTC one x atnt version. Am facing an issue with multi tasking. If I open a web page on any web browser and then start any other app and then using the multi tasking button and scroll to the web browser, it reloads the web page again instead of maintaining the page loaded.
Also for me spotify keeps logging out if I switch to another task.
Please advice as to why this is happening

This is a known problem on the one x. HTC calls it a battery saving feature. Put up your flame shield buddy.

Read, read, and reread, how to flash a custom Rom, the updated versions don't have as bad of an issue, CleanRom 2.4 is what I'm.using.

Minfreemanager from the Play Store helps a lot. It's not perfect, but makes it livable. You need root to use though.
Forgot to add - welcome to Android!!!

You're new here, so the rules on XDA are to do a search and do some browsing through the forum before posting questions that have already been discussed ad nauseum.
And if someone is courteous enough to post a link to a thread, try reading it before posting more questions that have already been answered in the thread.
You will likely not think of questions that have not already been asked and answered by others. So just use the resources at hand before making new threads.

Post this question in the Themes & Apps Section and you might find some answers there.

Also, the answer is no, which you could have found by searching on "NFL mobile".

There was a cracked version last year, but Verizon raised the security and it doesn't work.
Idiot.

If you're going to call me an idiot, at least know some basic differences between similar words.
Not my fault you originally posted in the wrong section.

Why are you bumping this? The question has been answered. Verizon has it locked down, and the devs have given up trying.

On the former, yes. As to the latter, that comes out a bit wrong. The devs would port the app, and Verizon would patch it. This started out taking a week, then it was cut down to a few days, and then it was almost daily. It became too much work to try to keep up with them. In a sense, I guess they did "give up", but they sure worked their butts off well before that point.

I chose to post the Cliff's Notes version.
Yea, I was the one who spearheaded the thread for the nfl mobile crack a few years back but unfortunately there's no working solution now unless you're on Verizon.

[Resolved] New Stuff Recommendations

Hello, Managed to sell a couple of my old devices and now I have around $120 lying around. What would you say is the best Tablet (Yes I know, the Nexus 7, Just looking for as many choices) or other cool tech.
Thanks!

Try posting this in the Device Recommendation thread. There is a reason why the "What should I buy next" / "Which is best" etc threads keep getting locked
Ahh... Sorry didn't even know it was there

HTC One S to get jellybean in October

http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/1...-x-and-one-s-to-begin-rolling-out-in-october/
Interesting to say the least, but its a shame because its doubtful that we'll get the Jellybean update on T-Mobile channel any time soon.
Hopefully also for S3

[Q] Sense 5

Who are some developers working on it so it gets ported to the One XL?
There are already other threads asking the same question, please don't duplicate.

Do you actually think we would tell? They would get no peace lol. If you happen to find one please donate to show appreciation for thier hard work.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
I'm not a developer. But I am giving it a shot. I know of a few others also. Its a very tedious process
