Hi everyone,
I have been a member here for a couple months, but haven't posted anything yet~ so I apologize in advance if this is the right forum to be asking this.
I have an Htc Hd2- and have to say I absolutely hate everything about it. I was debating on replacing the windows with Android~ and would like your thoughts on it- good, bad or indifferent. The only Android OS I know about is Froyo...so if there are others out there that work better with HD2- please let me know. I'm am not literate when it comes to this kinda stuff- so please write like you are writing an Adroid for Dummies book, lol
Thank ya much!
Veneicia
android 2.2 rox for the hd2 but i found only bad thing after fixing all the bugs the batt dies real fast its been running for 2 weeks with no problems but lame bat time
Thanks xXy3kXx ! Is there a download link here at XDA? I tried searching for it- but was getting some update thread with a warning on it.
yeah you will get that because i believe you have to basically root the phone and flash the 2.2 ROM on it, its basically like me rooting my MyTouch 3G and putting a CM6 ROM on it (same process with same risks)
correct me if im wrong XDA community im sleepy =.=
Hi CoNsPiRiSiZe,
Sorry ur tired:~( So how do I go about rooting, flashing & downloading, lol? I have tried to youtube it w/ videos' that offer links- and then there is no link...this is so frustrating:_/
its really not that complicated, go to this link and read it tell me if you get stuck
its all black ops fault! stupid all nighters :O
lol...ok- I'm sending u a PM:~)
Veneicia, has this worked for you? Does the phone work well with Android? I want to change to Android but I keep seeing these remarks that a new upgrade is/ will be available to eliminate a problem... I'm lost with all of these messages!
Let me know please!
Thanks!
Syn
I know it's possible, they've done it with the other Huawei phones it seems here.
I believe it was done for the U81xx phones using Celestial Teapot ROM?
Can I request that the IDEOS devs on XDA put their heads together and see if we can get this accomplished? I can offer no help but to test kernels.
This seems to be an issue more people have been asking about.
thanks for any help.
I'd also be happy to play guinea pig - I've got the IDEOS U8150 which I'd be happy to torture if anyone was willing to have a look.

best rom threads aint really allowed on xda.
Anyway u wont go wrong with blackout so yh flash that 1. Niks project x is still under development so stay away from it for now as the phone is ur niece's.
i know there not allowed and trust me im glad there not but needed to get a quickish answer. all the ones i had a quick look though blackout did look the most promising. anyway i will proberly go scanning through that thread for awhile because ive had that on my incedible s before and was the best one i had anyway thank jmcclue
Blackout just got an update + theme aswell and i think its gona be the last so it will be rock solid
As you know, this sort of thread isn't allowed, so closed
Hi! I am new to this forum and need help with pretty much everything here. Nothing I look at seems to support Blu Life XL and I need lots of help with flashing roms. I dont quite get how it works but my phone no longer properly functions beyond call and text. I need a new rom or possibly a way to flash a new phone's rom on (Is this possible??) I looked into this a bit but im dumbfounded at the amount of work you have to put in to learn this stuff and there are no real guides on the Blu Life XL, as its a really unpopular and unknown phone. I would love some help from everyone here and im eager to learn.
Thanks again, atwoodjer
Added info
Model: BLU Life XL
L050U
FCC ID: YHLBLULIFEXL3
IC: 11492A-LIFEXL3
Input: 3.8V
thats all the info it says on the back of the phone behind the battery, but also:
it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop
it is rooted.
it has no Google Play Store, Google Services Framework, or Google Play Music, and refuses to accept them, stating it is incompatible with them (Is this soft-bricked??)
it has factory apps, Titanium Backup, and Lucky Patcher.
thats about it. I hope that information is helpful, and tell me if you guys need anything else.
Thanks again!

First of all, Lucky Patcher is considered warez on XDA. Discussion of warez is prohibited by XDA Rules. You should familiarize yourself with those Rules before you post again.
Regarding your other questions, perhaps a visit to XDA University would be best.
