I looking for Android app that support FB chat. I don't want official app (FB messenger), because I think that is a bloatware and contains a lot of unnecessary things. I want simple app only for FB chat.

I have try to find a real god app to facebook and a facebook chat app but those who is there now is **** sorry to the dev who made them but they are not god, i was hoping here that some dev could take time and make a nice facebook and facebook chatt app.
It'd probably be helpful to find out what you do and do not like about the chat/app, and not just say that they're crap.

i think its high time they integrate FB Chat also...i have to use the different app for chat all the time.
Don't worry, the iPhone version also sucks, despite having chat... the developer of it kinda just stopped doing it.
They need someone on their mobile team.
Do you also have problem with facebook picture sync with contacts? got bad quiality on the picture etc
i found that you have to assign them a special way on the X10 or the blur.
Try Bloo . . . Its a nice app for facebook and support to chat . .

is there a good messaging app that combines sms and fb chat? I'm using Go SMS right now with the fb chat plug in but i'm not too happy with it. Any suggestions?

Just search Facebook Messenger on the Android Market, Facebook themselves released an app that does that.

I am making an app and I want to use Facebook chat in it. Meaning I want to enable for people can log in using Facebook and select friends and message them. I tried looking in the developers section of Facebook and couldnt find anything related to chatting. Is this not possible? Anyone have any information on this? I think its possible since apps like Go!Chat does it.

It is possible, but considering that Facebook themselves already have an app dedicated for this, there isn't much interest in developing another chatting app, especially if it can only pull from a person's Facebook contacts.

Or probably you need to contact the fb business unit for a partnership agreement
Since Facebook is making us use messenger and with new add-ons for messenger, could there be SMS add-on for Facebook Messenger, if someone asked for this I am sorry but I couldn't find it
