Installation Instructions (All steps very important)
0) Important: Some queries are answered in Frequently Asked Question in second post. PLEASE READ 4th POST.
1) Download Main ROM and save ROM file on sdcard
2) Start TWRP/CWM Recovery and Clear Dalvik Cache only
---------First-timers should also do Factory Reset (Full wipe first time).
3) Flash Rom and Reboot.
4) Important: You need to re-setup Xposed+Gravity as explained in FAQ in 4th post below. (You dont need to download or flash anything. Only setup as instructed. After this setup you can easily uninstall Xposed if you dont want it.) And you are done!
WARNING: NEVER DO FACTORY RESET, otherwise you will loose more than half apps in rom. If required you can uninstall apps manually or Wipe only Dalvik Cache in case you need to.

Frequently Asked Questions:
1) Capacitive touch buttons (menu/home/back) not lighting up in this ROM?
Answer: Lolz! :laugh: Visit this post.

2) Why the Camera is showing only 6MP?
Answer: Go in camera settings and set Preview Size to "4:3 mode" from "Full Screen mode". Now go to Photo Size option and set it to 12 MP.

3) Xposed installer/Modules not working correctly?
Answer: Clear data of Xposed FW, Modules and reboot as per following steps.
__a) Go in Settings>>App>>All>>>Clear data of Xposed Installer and Modules (GravitiBox and XuiMod).
__b) Open Xposed installer >> Click on Framework>>>Install/update the framework
__c) Press back and Click in Modules >> Select all installed modules and exit
__d) Reboot phone.
Now Xposed and all modules should work fine.

Friends! I think I should STOP MAKING ROMS FOR MAGNUS A117. 94 people downloaded rom on xda, and no one even comments anything. No good no bad. I am disappointed. Should I consider this as my failure in A117?

Maybe they are analysing your rom completely. Mee too one of them .. Altogether after using it for an hour I can feel the butter smoothness, HD games play flawlessly. Like your Rom very very much. Dont stop doing roms for Micromax A117. :crying:

This is a frustrating situation for a dev, but it's a fact that there are more than 1000 or more even more 10000 people who own a A117 in India or abroad .but among those are people who don't know a thing about xda or maybe there are from a different non-xda site. those guys are the one to blame. i think xda should allow downloads to registered users only. and to all the contribution you have made for our forum, i totally appreciate it. you have always given us your best work and we respect that, thanks sir:good: hope everyone open their eyes now. everyone plz considered this a wake up message we don't want to lose a recognized contributer.

@Solomon258 Thank GOD someone noticed. Glad that you liked it. I know there will be some minor bugs, please report it. Afterall this is just born. @NIKHILALWAYZ Yes, you may call it a frustration after 94 people successfully download a rom and no one says anything about it. Thanks to XDA server who tells the number of downloads these days. Otherwise I could have just waited for some comments wondering if anyone really downloading it or not If we are doing all the hardwork for invisible people who never respond, then why should anyone work on the phone. Trust me right now I am doing this only for my best friend Johnny. One more thing. There is A117 facebook group with 1800+ people and around 100 people always online/active. I informed them, but even they did not say anything here, though some responded in fb.
I am getting overwhelming response from Philippines for all of my roms. I went 2 days back in their group and Filipino people are literally jumping on me with joy and love with their comments for all my A116 roms they tried on its clone MyPhone A919i.
@ All I am still sorry for my above post. Actually one more simple small different looking rom is in the pipeline. Already tested but was kept aside for PureXperia, the famous rom for A116 / A919i.
108 downloads on XDA server in 10 hours. 4AM to 2PM. Rom going great.

No dear @rasanu some developer with phone model xolo Q700S, have to port it with the permission of the original developer. The CPU chipset is not same (Mediatek MT6582M) the GPU is Mali different (best one), the screen is different, etc. Too many differences. So some good developer have to work on this for porting.

Finally LEWA OS based on JB is ported to our LAVA WITHOUT ANY BUG :victory:... i ported it from canvas 2 lewa os thanks to suhas.holla for base rom and help...

At last I found somebody with passion for lava 501. I used Mmx a110 for about 3 months & believe me 501 is superior in many aspects.
I tried jb stock, microfire & revolution hd.

Dear Akash,
Tried your less ROM. Inst. Was breez. Should change boot screen, battery life is good, screen density mod doesn't work, camera app crashes after some initial startups. Otherwise has a good/fluid speed.
Plz refine further more.

bugs in lewa rom
Although I am fond of its operational fluidity & good battery life, I'll have to reinstall fahad's rom . Playing videos in mxplayer gets crashed after 2/3mins. Tried altering advance settings but in vain. Camera has become unoperational. Display density cannot be altered(all job ROMs have this bug)
Plz reply if you are in process of improvisation.

its because lewa core apps and framework succks memory..... n cant do anything as im not able to recompile framework..... zero progression abt lewa update as im having continue exams.... though i managed to add one BIG thing.... its surprise... btw i never faced any problem with mx player.... tip : delete apps you wont use in system app... except Pim ... im thinking about something new now.. main target performance and ram management.....

Hi there
Used most of the available roms for iris 501 but found some problems in all of them. Lewa ia good in battery backup (I got almost 4 days of battery backup after wiping battery status). About Chocolate edition, it is fast but I am having issues connecting GPS. Battery backup is not as good as lewa... Thumps up for that...
If you could modify Lewa rom and make it a little faster, I would appreciate it.

No, it will not cause earlier I was getting 260-280 mb free

But make a backup and try. And yes if I'm not wrong it must work on all rom based on Canvas 4 rom.

But brother only one camera app is there for phones and one is for tablet. Tablet one is not compatible delete it.

After testing this ROM for a considerable amount of time and restoring all my apps from backup.. it's time for review
First impression was a wow... what a smooth ROM and has incredibly good looks :good:
All apps working good and even after restoring all my apps it doesn't lag..
appreciate the performance of the ROM coz other 4.2.2 ROMs are suffering with lags but Leon-X doesn't seem to be one of them!
awesome init.d tweaks and battery backup is also fair so far :good:
UI is also good :good:
But some lags observed while browsing the internet.. put wi-fi on and do some multitasking it lags here and there..
Over all a very smooth ROM and quite a looker :good:

other than the said no bugs observed so far!
It is a must try ROM guys.. and don't forget to flash latest andiroxu's kernel (Xtreme-punch) for unleashed performance of your beast :good:

Brother there is not option to choose SIM in the messaging app...it doesn't display in the status bar too.. it by default sends the msg from SIM 1 i use dual SIM messaging and need to switch frequently.. plz do something

As mentioned in First thread, Butter smooth. 500* RAM available with minimum required apps installed.(whatsapp, Facebook,MX player and couple of games)
Camera is 13 Megapixel rear and 5Megapixel Front.
Audio is loud and clear.
Samsung apps store is also included which is an added advantage for few ppl.
3G is working perfectly perfectly
Got to check battery backup still.
Lastly, Very impressive ROM from Siddesh and Santosh.

Done. Will surely do that, now my battery % is at around 38%.
Will wait till night so that it drops below 25% and then will do the calibration.

Yes in this rom i have seen two issue 1st force close in task manager and 2nd is force close in google play store.plz help google play store have force close issue.otherwise rom is great just give feel of s5....thanks for providing this beautiful rom...And guys it has also wifi direct in these rom........:good:

-Wipe Cache, Dalvik Cache , Factory Reset, System, Android Secure (FOR TWRP)
OR
Wipe Cache/Dalvik Cache, Data/Factory Reset (FOR CWM)
-Install the Zip and READ EVERYTHING carefully and Follow Instructions
-1st Boot Might take upto 3 Minutes So don't panic
-After 1st boot You MUST Do the Following: It'll Prevent 90% of the Problems You'll Face Otherwise
Goto Settings>Storage> Preferred Install Location
Select Device Memory there
And Select DEFAULT MEMORY TO WRITE as SD Card
-*** DONT FLASH ANY KERNEL AT LEAST FOR A WEEK TO EXPERIENCE POWERFUL PERFORMANCE OF INCLUDED KERNEL WITH POWERFUL TWEAKS **

for now I am facing the following issue.
1. No sound will came like No audio is coming out while ringing No sound coming, act like a silent mode. Did any one facing this issue? this was a major issue, Please provide some patch for me.
2. Imei issue manually I adjusted. Is there any permanant fix is there?
Note: I install this rom after upgrading my system partion to 880 mb
Very nice job. Really beautiful rom.
One small issue of status bar background is white which almost makes it invisible while using any app. Can u patch it for me?

First check profiles of sim 1 and sim 2...
Is there silent mode activated or not...
Second no problem with manually changed imei...
If numbers are your original imei numbers...
I have checked, even though I checked with playing mp3. Nothing helped me, my sound profile showing sound on only.
Second I changed imei manually, but I want to know any permanant solution is there?

Reflash ur rom may be it worked

Not booting showing blank screen after flashing
I have tried many times but after flashing only blank screen appearing for hours, please give me solution
First I too faced this problem, after increasing system partition I successfully installed, but the audio is not playing, i tried many time, better wait for the others feedback and then install this ROM..developer of the ROM or pinto must only can help this situation.

bro audio is working fine many ppl using this rom do one thing flash stock rom and then flash this rom
Pinto I tried install stock rom first, then I install this Z3, finally sound working, while I restore titanium backup, I get sound Off, I don`t where I get wrong, I will Plan to get try Z3(4.8.7) and It may be working for me

No Sound issue
Hello pinto. You did a great job. Love the rom. But i am having a issue with it that i am not getting any Sound form phone call or on speaker.
And i dont have a backup of stock rom. And problem i am having is that my Sp flash tool not catching my phone so i cant get my stock rom. Can You please help me. Please give any tweek or anything else And fix this Sound problem. Or provide me full stock rom backup. I will download that. I really need You help now. Please....
