When I connect my tab GT-P3100 my pc (windows 7) i get a sound for device connected but actually I dont see my tab connected.I have to restart my tab and then it works well. Next time if I have to connect I have to repeat the same thing. Can someone plz help to fix this problem?

Go to SETTING>
then go to DEVELOPERS SETTINGS>
There you will find USB DEBUGGING, turn it on.
Now you are way to go.

guys need your help
i cannot install the drivers of my micromax canvas a110 i have downloaded the new version but still when i try to install a pop comes says that
it is not digitally signed and gives two option
1.Don't install this driver software
2.Install this driver software anyway
if i click on the 2nd option still the same pop up comes and driver is not installed for this i cannot flash jelly bean stock rom
PLEASE HELP ME

Actually it come up again because it install three drivers

Vcom port
So select the option anyway every time as it popup.

done that too now another problem is when i connect my phone to pc there is no mass storage option is coming my phoen is only in charge mode

Switch off your phone take battery out
Press download button after selecting scatter file
Connect your phone to PC without battery and wait until download complete popup.

I am experiencing this problem where when i try to connect my phone to my laptop a message is displayed saying that USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED. Also i am not getting that option in my phone too asking me in which mode to connect. I am not able to connect my phone as a storage media. I also tried factory reset and reset via stock rom but no avail. I am currently running on stock rom 4.1.1. any help would be appreciated.

go to settings- developer options - enable usb debugging, then connect your phone to PC . RESTART both before doing so.
:
Unplug the device from the USB port and plug it back in.
When the USB connection on the device is set to PC Mode, the device is not recognized when plugged in to USB. Set the USB connection to Charge Only mode. On the device, pull down the status menu, select USB connection and set to Charge Only.
Turn USB Debugging off and on by following these steps.
Select the Home button on the device.
Press the Options button on the device and select the Settings option.
Navigate to the Applications > Development option and find the USB Debugging preference.
Turn USB debugging ON and then OFF.
Otherwise use another USB cable!

the thing is i am not even getting the options when i pull down the notification bar. not even able to connect in storage mode. any way to change usb options through phone?
No there is not any option to change USB option through phone ,maybe smthing wrong with your laptop USB serial driver...one more time u can try with active WiFi on your mobile and than connect mobile to laptop through USB

Same issue with my Canvas 4
The same issue is with my Canvas 4.
I remember last time I connected one external USB to my phone which I was able to browse.
I'm not sure if that has made any changes to the config but even if it has, they are not persistent changes, are they?

hey guys, i have a galaxy tab 3 lite (sm-t111) and i can't copy big files on different folders on the tablet because of the type of connection, can i enable usb mass storage without root?
yes of course you can! you dont have to root your device to use mass storage! although i suggest you another app called es explorer works like a charm! u can transfer n organise your files in the best way possible
And how can I connect the tablet on mass storage? Because all I can choose is mtp or something...

Connect your phone to a computer (The device will be connected in MTP mode as default)
Reboot your phone while connected to the computer
Wait until you see the USB icon on your Notification Bar
You will now have an option to select Mass Storage now

there is an app to enable mass storage, search in play store.
But I think it needs root, and I don't have my tablet rooted
