Title says it all looking for anything like it. Found several good wallpapers and icon packs but no cm themes or aokp themes or anything if the like. Anyone taking requests or know of any good one? I'll pledge 10 bucks to a decent one if someone makes one.
I've found several in the Play Store. I can't remember the titles but they're there.
I can't find any links. Lots of Retro Icon packs but no CM11 themes. There are some "Retro Font Packs"
Perhaps you can find a decent CM Theme, throw a retro icon/font pack, and call it a day. Status bar Icons won't be blocky but time/date should use retro system font.

Can you point to a example if a theme you like, my perception of retro and yours might be different. Also might help others have a idea if they see it as well.

Easy enough but there aren't any that are close. I'm using the simple 8bit icon pack which looks awesome with the space battle live wallpaper. By retro I'm referring to old video games the 8bit pixelated look. Heres a screenshot of my homescreen.

You should also look into finding some 8-bit Nav keys.
I think there is an app for that and allows for custom icons. Maybe build them yourself.
I don't think the Theme posted looks that bad really although could be a little blockier.

ZipThemer on the Play Store.. Create anything, flash anything in the recovery.

True i didnt think about 8 bit nav button that would make it look even better
go the google drive link in the OP here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/themes/fonts-fontland-t2814942 and look for a font APK named pixel unicode. Its awesome!

thanx guys im hoping for a release tonight. I think what i want to do is start a thread where every theme developer gets a list of the "icon.png" names of all the system apps so i can just rename the icons i need and push them, instead of having to figure out the name of each icon, basically make a community effort. The reason i say this cause within the apks, the main icon might be icicon.png and another one might be appicon.png, they all have different names for theyre icons, with a community list it will be easier for devs to push icons into the correct apks without extracting the packages and finding out the names each time we create a theme.

Ok guys sorry for not releasing last night i will try tonight, my roommate had finals to study for and she needed the computer. So with that being said im going to get all the system app icons that i can get done tonight and then release. Now if you would like i can release sooner and post the link to the icons and you all can add them through bettercut. And then with an update i can add the icons. I plan on making more icons with the psd file of those icons.
Edit:As for the wallpaper i got it from the app Flickie HD wallpaper app. Also i got offered to be apart of the flickie beta usergroup i get first hand use of all flickie apps and input so keep a close eye on the app, its an awsome app and has great potential.

Firstly let me make clear that I have taken inspiration from SimpText by UltraLinx. I loved the idea he had created, very simple and minimalistic, however on my Desire the icons were just too small to be useful for me. Very kindly, UltraLinx also provided the PSD file he based his icons on. From this I amended the colours, the font, the size, as well as some more font options.

For the record I don't think he's part of the Inc community specifically lol more the Desire community
But obviously he's part of the XDA community

I use launcher pro, install it then to change the dock icons just long press the icon choose custom and then select your favorite. First move the icons you want from the zip to a gallery folder, made it easier for me to find them

HD2 - MIUI

This is My very First theme base on the new update release for Miui 11.5 Stable for android, is not completely done yet because i wanna make this theme a little different from others, i just wanna see how many people would like this theme base in the preview images, so i can keep going with the theme.
Im doing this in my spare time ( as a hobby ) so give me some time,i have always love to customize roms themes but just never had the chance too, but now i will , learn from all you evo miui helpers out there , info on xda & my buddy google lol but still learning.

You're talking about the icon background. Those templates are found in the framework-res.apk in the "drawable-hdpi-finger" folder. They are icon_background.png, icon_border.png, icon_pattern.png and icon_mask.png. You may also want to change icon_shortcut.png and icon_shortcut_arrow.png to fit with your theme. These have to be index color files to properly work.

Im on a honeycomb kick right now, thanks to the omegasun's new Honeycomb Dreams theme that i slapped on top of Mikfroyo. Im a bit of a icon nut and was not happy with some of the honeycomb icons in their original colors, so i photochopped these real quick. These are all the basics, but ill take some requests if ya have something you would like. All icons have a purple/blueish hue. I have a lighter blue pack if anyone is interested. Feel free to use with any roms/themes etc. I'd be flattered.

I actually think im going to redo the hole set and go for a more matte light blue like the notification icons in your theme. then they would look great on the matted blues theme as well.

Nope. You add them to your home screen with better cut, desktop visualizer, or similar apps.
That way you can, for example, use handcent or go sms with a stock Android icon.

Alright, time to flex those theming muscles.
I'm a gamer, you're most likely a gamer, and with both those conditions being met, it's safe to assume you are acquainted with Valve's masterpiece, the Portal Series. I appreciate and love the comedic and puzzling aspects of both Portal and Portal 2, and am excited to try to get a theme going.
The theme would probably get the biggest support for adw, free or ex. I personally am partial to AOSP ROMs, as are many of the themers/graphics guys.
Here's the running list of things to have:
• Bootanimation/Splash - DONE thanks to JamesC_
• Icons
• Icon dock
• Wallpapers (I think a cool idea would be to have alternative walls for widgetlocker and the homescreen, one with each color portal)
• Themed major widgets (start getting more specific with that later)
• CM Theme Manager or otherwise AOSP theme, including, but not limited to menus, notification bar icons, and a cute something on the notification panel
