Hi,
I have a tf300t with a keyboard.
A few month ago I flashed PAC-man 4.3.
Is there a way to go back to the stock ROM? How?
Do you have a recommendation for a ROM that works with the keyboard (I write in two languages, can't remember how to change input language with the keyboard).

It is for the TF300TG, but works the same for TF300T, using the right Asus ROM ZIP.

// Quick note to modos, yes, I did search extensively, I found many posts saying it doesn't work.. //
I use a french (yes, sorry, I'm french and I'm not named Dujardin) version of the ee pad. And of course I got the dock as well, with an Azerty keyboard (stupid frogs could not use qwerty like everybody else).
I've tried EOS ICS build, and there is no Asus Keyboard, so I'm stuck to remembering A will bring Q and Q will bring A.
Is there an ICS rom build with a working multilanguage dock keyboard ? Or some tweak I can apply to my current EOS build?
I'm sure I saw a key remap mod in here somewhere. There is definitely one in the desire z section that may be android generic.
Ps. Before someone has a moan, please use the Q & A section for this type of thing

Sorry but this guide refers to android 3.x, not ICS. ;-)
Furthermore, the question points that EOS rom lacks the azerty keyboard. This does not solves the problem out of the box, since this rom does not contain the original asus (soft) keyboard at all.
But, it is still relevant since extracting the file qwerty-xx_XX.kcm from some backup would enable to perform the same operation. ;-)
Otherwise, I assume that any rom having the "asus keyboard" would have the correct layout.
Nope
Currently, I didn't manage to get the "guide" work with ICS using the keychar from Honeycomb.
But there is this thread that provides Russian and German layout for the dock in ICS:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1528322
Thanks. I guess we'll have to wait. I can do without french keys for now.
Hi,
currently, Ivan Volosyuk has managed to provide an app which inputs the kcm and changes the layout.

It should be working.
Hi, I am using TeamEOS JB rom at the moment, everything is so smooth and fast. The only issue to me is the keyboard dock do not support Chinese anymore, they are using AOSP keyboard that does not support Chinese. I tried to flash the original Asus Keyboard, although it show as a keyboard selector but it showing up error message.
I wonder is that anyhow that I can get my original Asus Keyboard plugin on my Jellybean Rom?
I know TF300, TF201 has already announce the official firmware update to 4.1, is that possible to get the keyboard plugin and use it in Jellybean?
Were Jelly Bean Roms for asus TF300TG? Why I can't find? Or I can make simple rom without 3G and transform it for my asus TF300TG? I hate stock JB rom. Sory for my lang.

there's no developer with a 300tg (other than CB22 but he's working on linux, not android) so nobody is directly working on a "tg" rom.
Seanzscreams tried to build a port of his hydro rom "blindly" but it failed, we are hoping that his next try will work.
Untermensch should have worked on a "TG"/"TL" version of his optimized/OC kernel for vanilla asus JB but I didnt try it so I dont know how it works.

Can someone please tell me where can I get the Hebrew Samsung Keyboard for the Note 10.1?
I got it from amazon but last week the Note was released in Israel so there must be a Hebrew keyboard somewhere.
I could not find any Israeli roms for n8000 on sammobile.com.
Thank you for the help.
I know you can change the system language to hebrew in the settings, as for the keyboard, I dont see it. You can get a different keyboard from the market, i reccomend anysoft keyboard or swiftkey x, they are both very good and support hebrew.

What makes you think this is development?
thank you
yes I know I am using swiftkey and I love it but I would like to have the clipboard and the spen writing option. The Hebrew "system langue" is very unstable.
anyway thanks for the effort.
Hi Shaitoni,
I bought my device from Samsung Israel and it came with the Hebrew Samsung keyboard and stable system.
Unfortunately, i couldn't make calls (they blocked it cause of import tax issue) and it didn't recognize 64GB micro sd i bought.
So i've installed an official firmware and all problems were gone but i can't find also this original Hebrew keyboard.
I found the last firmware (4.1.1 N8000XXBLJ9 N8000OXABLJ9) to be almost stable, except for Task Manager (download task killer) and Samsung Apps (who wants it??).
What i did was to install CWM recovery, then this firmware, then root it with super user permissions.
After that i downloaded from google play "language enabler" because the Hebrew was hidden and swift key for Hebrew.
I can go and ask them to install back their official firmware but i don't think it's worth it and maybe someone will put it on the net, i don't understand why it's not embedded in the os like in Apple ios.
Too bad i didn't copy the original rom before upgrading it, but 4.1.1 is much better the ICS.
Regards
If u want a hebrew keyboard u can flash this rom

Thanks, i think it's the only ROM i didn't try
Anyway, i found this ROM a little bit laggy and the Hebrew keyboard doesn't turn your handwrite into text (like the one i had when i bought it).
So i decided to install back the official stock and just root it, until something better will show up.

Bonjour,
I use a i.t.works bluetooth keyboard with my Galaxy Mega 6.3
I used the 'azerty_keymap.zip' method described on the site.
I just install CyanogenMod 11 4.4 Kitkat and the method don't work anymore.
The Menu and Back buttons doesn't work and the bluetooth keyboard no more.
I have got to re-instal CyanogenMod 11.
Somebody knows this problem ?
Thanks.
Of course, I'm french!

BUT i will also help you try to help...
Have you just tried change keylayout within the rom? You don't need a zip for it i suppose Additionally:
Which rom was installed before? have you performed a full wipe or just updated? Have you tried if bluetooth itself works properly? And tried another keyboard app? TouchPal X is simply LEADING
I use this method :

since 2 years with Cyanogen 9, 10..
It works on my Note2 with Paranoid Android 4.2.2.
