Please help me.

That's not a bootloop, it's the stock recovery updating the firmware (or trying to).
How long did you let it run?
Do you eventually get the Android falling over with an exclamation mark
What were you on and what's the exact name of the update you were trying to flash?
What happens if you hold the Power button for a long time?

4. If the cube just keeping running and nothing is happening is this a big problem?

Problem

Well ****..
I have been ****ing with my phone all day. Finally managed to do something bad.
I was trying to install z4mod lagfix, and well, after flashing the kernel, it rebooted into recovery. Where I could not select anything. Then I undid the battery, and it keeps going back there.
Now when I power on my phone I get a little image of what appears to be a phone.. exclamation point..computer
No idea what this represents..
I apologize for the poor image, and nice finger smudging.

I am able to get to downloader/ing mode, and use odin to go back.
BUT, still wondering what this is all about. Anyone know?

Are you using the one click odin? Or the standard odin? One click won't replace the kernel to the stock captivate kernel I don't think.
This is purely speculation on my part, and I'm talking about of my ass, but that's just what I think the problem is. Try the original odin and replace the kernel again with the stock one. Again, I don't have an honest clue.

[Q] Nexus S won't start anymore.

Hi guys,
I'm in big trouble right now.
I have a Google Nexus S GT-i9023 (GSM used in french network).
I tried some ROMs (CM, oxygen) then a decided to go back to stock ROM.
To do this, I followed this tutorial : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1062801
I didn't even notice the BIG MESSAGE about phone version... I'm an idiot.
Not I get stuck with my phone which don't wan't to start, even on bootloader (Vol +, Power button).
I get a black screen with some buttons turned on (the "search" one, and sometome the "menu" one) as u can see on this photo

}
Sometime, when I try to power on the phone while connected via USB on my computer, I can send some commands with CMD.exe and fastboot.exe but I cannot "fastboot oem unlock" it.
Please, does anyone can help me? I spend hours searching on Internet.
Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Ju
try Odin.
Sent from my Nexus S using Tapatalk
Odin did the job. Merci =)

I had the same issue. Here's what I did - hopefully it'll work for you.
Download and install HTC Sync Manager for your PC.
Connect your HTC One M8 to your computer and wait until HTC Sync Manager recognizes it.
On the home page of HTC Sync Manager, click repair. Select your device from the list(should be just one device if only your phone is connected, then click the red repair button under the image of the One m8 and the verizon laptop.
Wait awhile.
Once it's 100% completed, close HTC Sync manager, reboot your phone, and try the OTA update again. At this point in time, mine fully completed the update and didn't show the red triangle.
Also, if you don't know how to get out of the red triangle, hold down voldown, volup, and power until the phone reboots.

[Help]Optimus 3D always restarting when shutting down.

When I try to turn off my Optimus 3D P920, it always restarts instead of shutting down.
I try to shut down either by holding the power button and selecting Power off from the menu, or using an app like Quick Boot. Always restarting.
This happened after upgrading from official 2.3.5 to official ICS.
One thing I noticed after the upgrade: immediately after the phone turns on, the LG logo changed(the one that appeares before the bootanimation). Before the upgrade it was red like in this image

Now, when the phone boots, it looks like fastboot
The only way I managed to actually turn the phone off is to enter TWRP recovery and select Shutdown from there.
Any help is appreciated!
Thank you!
I just found out that this is a bug of using non-stock(wkpark's) bootloader. Finally found a way to flash stock bootloader/recovery using this tool - http://d-h.st/24C
The downside is that i lost TWRP. Well, I made a backup before, and if I ever need recovery I will reflash it. I prefer being able to turn the phone off normally.
P.S. The phone still has the fastboot look when it boots, it doesn't really bother me though, it might just be the way it is after ICS upgrade.

Random issues are hard to analyze.
Maybe the USB connector is dirty/wet. Maybe buttons are sticky. Maybe it is a hardware defect.
Best to post more information (BTW I can see no picture). Hopefully someone can help having a little bit more details.
