Bugs (4.2.2): UI is pretty big (dpi issue), BMM red led stays permanently on after reboot, No network, 10% battery. So I'll jump to MirageROM temporary.
Any ideas how to make 1% battery instead of 10?

The rom has per-app dpi controls so change it there, then reboot and this should help you out for your led Issue;click here. As for the 10%, it's a matter out of my hands as many roms I've ported from the S. Galaxy phones have it and there's no easy way to change it... -_-

Lol, there's nothing to really fix sam as for that version, you have to go into the hybrid settings to make proper adjustments.
Choose the dpi groups option and then firstly set the android system to the same dpi as your system ui in the list, eg. 240. Go into the other dpi groups and tap once on the apps to remove them all, then reset your rom.

worked...after a restart...
This ROM has that red led continuously ON problem
In call volume adjustment also works here
and wifi tether too :laugh:

Hello everyone, it's me again! I have successfully ported "Shendo OS" to Galaxy 3, so I hope you all will like it! This is based on CM7 Alpha 8.2, so big thanks to marcellusbe for porting CM7. If you liked it, please consider donating. A "Thanks" would be nice also!
Note: I'm not responsible if you bricked your phone! This ROM is still unstable, there are still bugs to be fixed! As you can see, there are still some images to be fixed in the staus bar, settings, and etc. This may take some time, so please don't ask for ETAs! I also need some testers, so feel free to post the result!

Skip step 2-3
If "Shendu Launcher" still force close, then try flashing Build 1, and then flash Build 2

Just flashed your rom and found 2 bugs. The status bar force closes when touch it. Also when you tap on the brightness in the settings menu, it force closes too.

Yes.
Maybe not completely what upload on MF. ROM has 132 MB not 136 MB. Signal is very small and Task Manager not working.

rom is too slow, camera not working ,gallery isn't working well, drawer needs to be resized

hey this doesn't works.
after installation it loads but very late. takes around 15-20 mins after the boot animation. i did wiped out cache and other caches too.
the bugs which i reported though this is not a complain just to inform ravi bro about the bugs so he can focus more in fixing it out whenever he has time, appreciated all his hard efforts. great guy
1. the rom is very slow.
2. no sound at all. call volume extremely slow not able to hear at all. on speaker there's no voice.
3. no network reception. only 1-2 bars.
4. it doesn't searches network properly. like i have vodafone so it shows hutch then some numbers such as 400285,etc. this way. doesn't shows proper network
5. battery drain it dropped from 100 to 57 in a flash just like CM10 Jelly bean 4.1.1 and AOKP has the same issues so i guess u need to fix it out.
6. it shows lots of chinese content when u navigate to themes,settings,etc. don't know where that comes from.
these are the bugs i have found unfortunately i had to switch back to another custom rom to creed till u fix this bugs.
creed is great and super awesome but has a major battery drain issue. would love to use MIUI JB 4.1 this rom soon once it get's fixed.

Instead of telling that this doesn't work or that doesn't work we should help him develop the ROM..
Hey what i can see is the major bug is Audio except that all are working absolutely fine..
And that the issue with the two bars isn't causing any problem
and some numbers displayed instead of Vodafone that isn't true
because i too have vodafone but it is displaying vodafone to me..........
And it is slow because of the lockscreen i suppose because as soon as i changed it
it is working perfectly fine without any lag on 729Mhz.

i'm not complaining i'm instead helping him out by telling him the bugs so he can focus on it. i'm trying all my best as a true person to help the developer in my best possible limits. i don't know android coding but all i can do is trouble shoot and do some modifications porting rom and fixing few things. i can do that. so if any help do lemme know. thanks.
and i'm not lying whatever bugs i faced i reported them as a loyal tester to make improvements for future updates. so plz bare with me

ParanoidAndroid 3.00 for the HTC Explorer/pico
This is still JB 4.1.2, since we're still building PA with a CM base. PA's new AOSP 4.2 base appears to be on the same 'jellybean' branch, which is why (I'm assuming) the version still went up to 3.00. I didn't change this, it was built that way from PA source.
Disclaimer: I do not claim to be a developer... However, by READING, SEARCHING, and TRYING, I've learned some tricks of the trade. One of them has been building from source. All I am doing is putting a few pieces together to make it compile, all the hard work has been done by h8rift and mg2195. I test these builds on my own device before any release, but I do not claim it will work for everyone. ALWAYS have a nandroid in case of emergencies. What is it?
PER-APP-DPI/LAYOUT. This is not tablet mode! Hybrid engine allows you to target apps individually. You get to pick their actual layouts which can tranform content drastically. Keep in mind, this has nothing to do with build.prop hacks or DPI changes. We list all layouts an app brings, you choose one, its as easy as that. It does not matter if your device runs itself in Phone-, Phablet or Tablet-UI, your apps will always look as you like. On top of that you can scale apps, to fit your screen, that way you can even bring full fledged tablet apps and make them run perfectly. Nothing will break, nothing will shrink, your market will be fine. Additionally we have rewritten many parts of the android framework and fixed countless of AOSP bugs to make way for these modifications - our "tablet mode" runs better on a phone than on a real tablet, that is guaranteed.
PER-APP-COLOR Paranoidandroids newest invention. Define apps in your regular hybrid panel. See your phone fade into the color definition of your current app, press home or go elsewhere and it fades back. Create as many combinations you like, you can even dabble with opacity. This feature is made possible by our hybrid engine, which is unique to this rom.

The int2ext script for cm10 is working fine for increasing memory on PA rom. I have used it.

Flash another kernel over the ROM

not booting :/
i flashed the ROM and its not booting after the Samsung logo it just go black screen. i flashed k kernel and it still don't work :/ hope you fix it i really wanna try this rom!

I flashed this rom on my buddy's i9000 (from the i9000 forum). And i gotta say...it was impressive. As for me........to the flash-mobile !!!!

I'm guessing yes. First few seconds of the video shows 3.4 kernel version. That is on a Nexus though.

Just a heads up, this wouldn't boot for me. Didn't make it past the splash screen.

Anyone get this to flash? I flashed it and it was successful but wouldn't boot. Got stuck on the splash screen for like 5 minutes and then just went off. I couldn't even get it to turn for a bit after that. I was finally able to get in to the bootloader so I could get into recovery and restore a backup.
