Hi , I have a ZTE 967S with a peculiar but interesting problem , its running MIUI V5 the problem simply is the phone will charge when turned off , when turned on it will not charge unless i go into engineer mode and hardware testing and run the usb TEST_SEO_NAK test for say 4 seconds then as if by magic it will charge when on but if i power off iam back to square one . Any ideas will help , its using the Kernal 3.4.5 and i have tried another rom Max Flavour and its the same issue ?

when i connect the charger the battry status become charging
but it doesn't charge
it keep going down and down till the phone off
so is the problem with the phone ? or charger ? or the bettry ? i tried with the replacement bettry but same and i tried to change the rom of the device and same problem pls pls help pls

I have a weird case, for a some days I have had a problem with charging of my phone, it can be only charged when it is powered off. I flushed my phone but id didn't help.
Does anybody has any advice, what should I do ? Change usb interface, some fuses,anything ?

Are you on a custom ROM? I had a similar problem and found that it was the ROM causing the issue. I would try reflashing or go to a different ROM all together. Hope that helps.

Thanks, but I reflashed ROM yesterday, now i have different custom ROM and it's the same
The ROM is used by many people and i believe that it isn't a cause.

i no root device no delete system apps etc.
also i have latest firmware on this device kitkat 4.4.4.
i have problem with this battery indicator it showing me always for example 82 %
but when i use wi fi it going normally down for example 70 6o%
but when i go conneted to pc mobile with pc working ok but charging still not working. it showing always no charging but usb cable working ok so i dont know what a problem
this indicator only working ok when i go charging with normal charger.
could you pls help me what is the problem is avaliable any software for repair it ? or something else ?

hi guys! i need help
my device is under rain for about 1hr and later everything worked fine except the charging issue . it is charging very slowly i cant even switch it on,i'm using resurrection remix 5.7.1 rom . somehow i charged it upto 11% and i flashed latest zip [5.7.2] is this a bootloop ? or a charging port problem please help

I am new to this forum,so sorry if I had done something wrong...,
Coming to the point,I am using yureka plus running cm 12.1,I have noticed that if I plug my phone for charging when it's switched off, and then try to switch it on, the screen flashes blue patches and I have to remove battery and insert it again to make it boot.It's really annoying and solution for this will be greatly appreciated.
