Hi all! I've got a BEDOVE HY5001 chinese "smart"phone for 3 days now, which is an MTK6589 based phone, and i've already rooted it and i need to install a rom on it, but i don't know which rom to install...PLEASE HELP! Hello, I know its extremely low possibility someone will mess with this low budget phone, but if anyone can do it, Im sure a few people would be interested in putting it on their devices.
So far all I found was how to root and install cwm on some czech forum.
Can I use some generic ROM at least?

I'm new so don't know if I'm posting in the correct area?
Anyway, I was wondering if someone could help me as I am searching with 2 days and cant seem to get what I need!
I have a GoClever Tab R104 , it is a 10.1 inch android 4.1 tablet, sporting the Rockchip 2928-G and Mali-400 GPU.
I recently bricked it trying to root without making a backup of the firmware(not sure I even could without root), and now the device is dead/bricked.
I have the rockchip drivers installed and the rockchip batch tool for flashing the firmware but I cannot find the exact firmware I need.
I have tried Goclever tab r70 firmware files but after flash the tablet blacklight comes on for a few minutes but nothing on the screen and then shuts off.
I contacted GoClever through their support site and they fobbed me off saying if its not on the site then they cant help and to send in my tablet for diagnostics.
If anyone has this tablet can they please make a backup and send me a link to the firmware or even if there is a link I'm not finding online for the firmware it would be much appreciated. :good:
I don't even care about rooting it anymore, just to have it back up and running would be great!

First of all, sorry if I posted something that it doesn't belog to.
Anyhow, my kids tablet got system crash, and I tryed to load ROM. But anything I try is uselles. Can't find a suitable rom.
We are talking about cheap chinese tablet. All I know, its using Rokchip RK3026 cpu. There is no any name on it, but on board it says YK86V-RK2926 V2.0...
Any suggestion with ROM would be most appriciated
