battery life isn't good too, installed shurik's 02-21a

I'm on Mokee 4.4 as well and have the same problem with latest JBX. It prevents me from getting carrier signal. i thought it was originally a problem with the liquidsmooth I was trying to install but when I tried applying it to Mokee it stopped my cell signal as well.

Check your APNs. If there's nothing under the APN settings try the "Reset to Default" option. If that doesn't work, you'll have to Google the APN settings for your service carrier and input them manually. Or, better still, if you can find the apns-conf.xml that is specifically for your carrier download that and install in /system/etc then set the permissions to rw-r--r-- and reboot.

hmm not sure what i'm doing here. reset to default gave me no luck. After manually entering ATTs info and selecting save from the menu, no APN shows up in the 'list' i supposedly just populated with an entry. Searching for available networks also leaves the phone searching seemingly indefinitely, which would work just fine before installing the JBX. As far as copying an xml into that directory, not sure how to do that.
And as I was trying to use USB mass storage for it it won't work for me either. I'm gonna have to give up on the JBX kernal, time to find a non kexec to resolve these battery issues. thanks for trying.

USB Mass storage is normal
You must do 2 steps to make UMS work: (swipe down from notification bar)
- Change to Mass storage
- Turn on usb storage
Anw, you can use Solid Explorer to send/receive your files with PCs in your network.

Alright, I'll give that one a shot. Thanks.
When i was attempting to use the USB before I would bring up the dialog for it, then Click "turn on USB" then it would give the warning saying apps might not work, etc, then click ok to that and then it would engage. Witht eh JBX on mokee or liquid, clicking "turn on USB" would just sit there with the loading circle indefinitely.
Gonna hit up CM within the next day or so see how that goes.

This is an ongoing developer project to make way for a modification that will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the experience of your phone. I know you've seen tablet mode roms before, they change two lines in your build.prop file which you could easily edit yourself in seconds and maybe throw a keyboard in there to make it work better. It's a start, but this ain't enough. This thing has potential, but it is wasted the moment you try to stuff a full blown tablet into your poor phone. Yet we all know our high res phones can very well handle more than silly 1-column layouts. So the magic must be in between somewhere, a place that google must have overlooked and left blank. Yes, this rom strives to drop your device into tablet mode, but it won't stop there, it will reshape and redefine ics to make it all a usefull addition and not just a cute novelty. We're calling it: Hybrid mode, best of both worlds.

v1.6
Built from source - 10/7/2012 - 00:27:58
OTA app changed (This trashes OTA update, please download manually this version). More responsive methods
Merged latest CM changes, including a lot of fixes and improvements for device tree
Improvements on frameworks, fixed for once and finally all DPI related crashes
SystemUI mode can be configured now
Cleanup and speedup of hybrid code via native libs (I'd say 25%)
A lot more of changes, you can check them here: https://github.com/ParanoidAndroid
v1.5
Built from source - 25/6/2012 - 11:3:12
Removed AROMA installer, now using CM kernel, you can install any AOSP kernel
Improvements on OTA app, scheduled checkups
Improvements on Backup app, now it automatically launches on startup after you install a newer (or older) version
Hybrid speedup, less lag, considerably faster list scrolling when pad/pal is in action
Keyboard scaling, an androids first
PAD/PAL bugfixes for apps that still crop images in lower dpis
Settings revamp, speed preferences to switch between modes without having to set up anything, less clutter
Trebuchet extras: 3x4 widgets, speed dial menu button, ... and some weird rocket button which im sure will be very useful to most of you
Pad.prop revamp, new preferences that should pretty much nail it. Im sorry but this trashes your old settings again, do not attempt to restore them unless you do it in a text editor

Welcome to the unofficial CyanogenMod 10.1 nightlies
The releases will co-inside and the build start time is at 03:01 UTC every night and should be uploaded soon after. If at anytime the builds are not there, then there was a problem building the ROM, and we will have a look at it ASAP.
CyanogenMod 10.2 builds are available here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=47732474. The buildbot resources are beeing used for other projects and/or CM10.2 builds

These builds are compiled from the latest CyanogenMod repos and device repos on device, kernel and vendor files.
Furthermore these builds are multiDPI, i.e. you can run the rom at any dpi between 160 and 240 while maintaining hi-res assets.
Initial install
Make sure you are updated to stock LG ICS update (v20d) prior flashing the first time.
And remember to wipe data/cache
(These steps need only to be done once. Later updates can be just flashed over an existing installation without the need of a wipe)
And as always: I take no responsibility whatsoever for raging, screaming, crying, frustration, failing, confusion, etc.
You need to have a custom recovery installed in order to flash these builds;

Tip: If you want to have your density settings persist over updates and don't want to edit build.prop with every update, use local.prop.

same as cm10?
Maybe it's just me, but somehow I'm missing the performance menu.
Additionly, the phone doesn't boot into recovery anymore. The circle revolves endless in the 'Restart Phone' screen.
But the good news is, that the echoing I suffered in CM 10 is almost gone or just minimal, so that's not annoying anymore.

Hi Milaq,
Thanks for your great job :good:
Please continue to your developing for LG PRADA 3.0 P940
My first ROM is 2.3.7 V10D and after that upgraded to V20D but now using V20G (VDI/VODAFONE(ITALY))
Can I Install 10.1 on my device?
Android version: 4.0.4
Baseband version: v20g-eur-xxx-aug-8-2012+0
Kernel version: 3.0.21
Build number: IMM76D
Hi milaq,
There are some errors that you need to fix.
1.) Mounting USB on Mass Storage is not working
su
setprop persist.sys.usb.config mass_storage
but then when connected to a computer, turning on USB Storage doesn't work?
2.) I have a third party screenshot app called Screenshot UX, I tried capturing my notification drawer but it appears he captured the PRADA logo at boot? and everything I captured also appears the PRADA Logo.
3.) Status bar error? The upper left toggle to your Quick settings panel is missing, remove the AM/PM on clock and it turns OK.
excellent work.
but
1- I miss the black and white theme. do you have any apk or zip of the original prada theme and widgets ?
2- My touch sensitivity decreased.
3- My Antutu points decreased from 7866 (stock rom) to 7666
Thanks for the great work.
here are the few things I noticed and wish to be added:

hi milaq,
seems mass storage can not work(both in recovery & system), and there's a bug related to signal :
when i turn off flight mode, the singnal is zero, it seems that the phone can not re-search the singnal when return from flight mode, i need to restart the phone manually.
thanks!
Again may I add glitches and errors that I've encountered so far.
1st and 2nd Screenshot
Some video glitch perhaps or is it just my device?
3rd and 4th Screenshot
Tried clearing cache but still resets to 12KB? CM10 and CM9 zero out's cache.
Hello, the biggest problem for me is screen sensitivity which have decreased since cm10. I flashed back stock rom and the problem disappeared so i believe it's a software problem,I will stay with stock rom till there is a fix. Thanks again for this great rom

Manual install:
Backup original file and corresponding odex file.
Copy/push the modded apk into /system/ and set permissions to rw-r-r
Move the apk into the correct directory (/system/framework-res/ or /system/priv-app/) overwriting the existing file
Reboot
Via Recovery:
Backup your original file and corresponding odex file (if applicable).
Flash via TWRP/CWM
Note:
Replacing SystemUI.apk whilst the phone is running will change your wallpaper.
You're responsible for your own device; be careful.
Hmm the battery percent seems to have disappeared based on your screenshots. Or did you purposefully get rid of it?
Thanks for your work btw. These status bar mods are awesome.

I'm doing this a different way than before. It may require a different battery mod. I'll be adding the battery mod back in.

OP is updated with a new version. Do you still need the TMo version? Send me the framework-res.apk as well if you do.

SystemUI process has stopped when I install or manually copy the first one. When I modify and replace just image resources myself it works fine, these don't for some reason. VZW Dev Edition, 4.4.

Are you setting the right permissions? I just downloaded and installed on my own Dev Edition and it is working.

Yep. I have tried copying and setting permissions using shell through adb, using the file manager in TWRP and using Solid File Explorer. Same crash.
The only thing I just thought of is that I'm using ART, not sure why that would be a problem but it's possible I guess. Which runtime are you on?

Moving on to Eclipse's rom so I'll be doing a lot less messing around. If you need something converted to your carrier let me know.
question. i previously installed native tethering by replacing the VzwEntitlementService.apk in /priv-apps. everything works ok, but everytime i turn on tethering, there still is a check for tethering subscription which is only for 'esthetic' reasons (still by-passes the check).
will your method remove the subscription check when tethering is turned on?
also, if i install your method, do i need to reenable the original .apk and .odex files for yours to compile over them?
thanks-
Thank you!
Awesome work! Stepped in here for the native tethering zip and it seems to work flawlessly! Got wifi hotspot running without a hitch.

This method totally bypasses the check. It doesn't matter if you have the stock app or any third party app. I tested with Vzw app and with Wifi tether for root access and I got no errors. The only necessary change is made in framework-res.apk.

ART seems to cause issues with SystemUI mods. If you don't mind can you send me all SystemUI.* files in /system/priv-app (I don't know if ART creates .odex files). I'd like to take a look at them.

Nice find. I noticed those settings also, but I didn't pursue it because I didn't think it would be that easy.

Pretty sure it means make sure you're using the most recent stable recovery. Check with twrp or cwm before flashing. Sometimes outdated versions give off errors and can't flash.

Finally got this installed and it is a very nice ROM IMHO. Very much stock aosp there isn't a ton of feature like some of the other aosp ROMs but I really like the smoothness this ROM has to offer and everything works only bug I have is the speaker phone bug is present when in a call if I put on speaker phone I have to reboot to even get back in the dialer app.

Here are the logcats I promised from G+. This is on a clean flash, barebones. Nothing other then TItanium Backup, the loggers, and my favorite file manager added.
Logcat0 is the first time opening PA OTA. It times out and gives ROM not found error, then update not found error.
Logcat1 is the second time opening it, but this time it sees I could use the gapps. It does allow to download as well, yesterday it wouldn't. May have been my location at work (edit: see data issue below).
Logcat2 is me calling the phone, answering and checking all is well. Then I switch to speaker phone and all seems well. Then switch back to and it stays on speaker with no microphone action. I hang up, close the app. Reopen the dialer and its just a white screen. Then it turns black. Close the dialer and reopen with the same issue. Yesterday I thought it rebooted after. Today I confirmed it reboots shortly after. Couldn't pull a kmsg since there's no "/process/last_kmsg" file/location.
Also, after awhile data drops out and won't come back no matter what. Logcat3 is data turned off, then turned back on. This is after it being on and loosing it totally. Seen some USB state changed for this log, yet nothing was ever plugged in.
I also randomly get this simcard issue window shown but haven't been able to grab it.

Thanks for pulling these logs for the devs I am experiencing the same issues not only on this ROM but every Aosp ROM for us sprint users (the data issue). Hopefully they can solve the issues other than that this ROM is rock solid I'm not running it at this moment but much appreciated that you took the logs.

Probably not, aosp roms aren't going to have the Motorola features

Thanks, ayysir for bringing P.A. to the moto x.
I have one question. Where are P.A. settings and halo?
I hope they still exist.
