Hello, I am building and using for my personal use omnirom for our tf101's it is straight forward omnirom with a few bits added.
I will be making a few changes here and there but really just wanting to keep it a pure omnirom.

Will get some screen shots up sorry guys, posted the original thread from phone as I was away.
Everything seems to be working that I have come across, there are a few things which I know sindneyk has been working on in the other thread like the dock battery is there are working but there is no notification at the top.
As I said it is just keeping up to date with omnirom and a few changes here and there like clearing out some of the screen savers and that kind of thing.
Will get a bit more detail up soon.
19th is up as well...
thanks for your work, how many more better developments.

I agree, but why two OMNI-rom threats. It is a legitimate question why he is not joining @Sydneyk but instead is starting his own. Bundle knowledge looks like the better option if his threat is about developing OMNI for the tf101. But lets hear it from @pops106

In all honesty, I have only been building ROM's for about 6 months AOKP for the nexus4 and i9300, Omni for the tf300t and the tf101.
I basically wanted to make a ROM the way I wanted them slightly slimmed few bits added and as up to date as possible as I am a update addict...
Just sharing the ROM really, it is 99% not my work just put together and built by my nearly working build box.
Adding consists of;
DSP Manager - Already in Omni so no need on this
Android File Manager, just so something is there from a clean flash, I usually add es file explorer later
ClockLock from CM as I like that widget
SuperSU - Not working in this build yet
Removing consists of;
Screen savers
Wallpapers
Others to follow just to keep it clean

Thank you very much though for your hard work, I assume the omni tf101 bits on github have a lot to do with your work, I am currently just stealing your vendor files.

No problem so long as you aren't actively discouraging folks from giving mine a try. If you make some changes somewhere that I find useful I may want to incorporate them or you could submit through gerrit for approval. I won't be able to use anything that depends on Linaro presently as Omnirom doesn't support Linaro at this time. I see it as a another choice, that with a sharing attitude, could only help make things better for our device on Omni. I'm sure no coding expert and will seek out help wherever I can find it. Good luck.
In my country it is said that "unity is strength", but I see very positive, the two projects, it sure can help. I appreciate your work, thanks for keeping alive our tablet.

I honestly don't think I could really help, I struggle to get the ROM to build, fix the odd thing but I wouldn't know where to start with the dock.
I guess comparing the tf300t files or something like that ?
What is it that isn't working ?

Yeah. The nice thing about Paranoid is it is based on CM10, so once CM has everything fixed, PA will most likely have everything fixed. It takes a long time to download the repo. Glad I have 15Mbps Internet, though this makes me wish it was even faster.
If anyone wants to test out Paranoid Android on their Burst, I posted a link to the one I built at the bottom of the first post on Compile Unofficial Paranoid Android for Pantech Burst

The first: thank you for posting here. You have been one of the few users, that understands the purpose of this thread.
In the repositories there are many pending changes. For this reason, there is no valid rom with date "March 7th", is smarter wait a few days to install the rom.
We do not wish to delay the changes, but these must be properly tested. When these changes can be considered validated, will be communicated to all users.
Thank you.

Maybe we should start a thread for specifically for reporting bugs in co10 builds. That way it keeps the porting thread cleaner. Maybe in the orignial post for it, put an outline of how to report bugs, like build name/date, issue(s) reporting, logcat attachment /pastbin, etc.

There is no point. People do not want to understand the reasons that is requested write messages in one or another thread.
Every day that passes I am more convinced that writing in our threads is like preaching in the dessert.

Google Apps: http://goo.im/gapps
Installation
Install CWM recovery from http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=352149&st=1680#entry16645773 - it's specialy made for 701, or you can use http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1791165 for A700 (note that the old touch version will not work because of incorrect default.prop from CWM builder)
Do a Nandroid Backup!
Install the ROM using ClockworkMod Recovery

ChangeLog:
Some devices have a problem with waking up and entering flight mode - now is OK.
Include ntfs file system support - test please!
How is this build different than the A700's build? AFAIK, it should work on the A701, sans the 3G. If you successfully port the RIL, please submit the patch and required changes back to CyanogenMod. I would prefer that the A700 build is setup to work on both A700 and A701 and the RIL disabled/enabled at runtime accordingly.

Certainly works, but without 3G... Ported RIL,
Patch.... it is not ppp-widget! changes affect the frameworks and will not beautiful if it is in the firmware for the A700.
By the way, my firmware is suitable for A700, for those who want to use an external 3G modem from Huawei... and I can made it for other 3G modems
Sorry for my english)

Changes in the framework, if done properly, will not adversely affect other devices, that is how CyanogenMod can compile for so many devices with only one source tree. It is certainly possible to enable or disable the RIL based on parameter from the boot loader.

I'm about othet things. He limits the user - it's hard to make support 3g modem? 5 min! I do not want to offend respected pawitp - but I am more interested in the development and convenience.
Ok, then show the users inside XDA what you have changed to get it work.
Nice Info... But i can't live without 3g :crying:
Keep it on topic please
You all want to keep it on topic?
If the rom works on the 701, then great! We all could use some development in the 700 forums. So there's no need to chase away cooks and Devs.
If the OP doesn't want to share what he changed/added, well, not much we can say about that. It's his right. It's not like the rom is encrypted or anything.
Although it would be nice and in the spirit of XDA to share the knowledge
However, I would ask the OP, and anybody else posting ROM's, to provide screenshots. This I believe is required if I'm not mistaken.

If you can do it in 5 minutes, then great. It's even greater if you push the patch upstream so every other CM device can enjoy the USB modem support. Can it really hurt if you provide the changes you've made to get the A701 RIL working? Then I can decide if it's possible or not to integrate it into the same build as A700. If you choose not to provide your changes, I will respect your choice per the Apache License and not pursue any further, but please keep in mind that this ROM is possible due to open source code provided by AOSP and CM.
If you're using the CyanogenMod name, it should remain in the unmodified form as much as possible, and state the changes you've made. Otherwise, please come up with a name for your ROM (you can, and should, say it's "based on CyanogenMod"). Otherwise people will be thinking that they're using the official CyanogenMod build when they are, in fact, using CyanogenMod with your additions. If you choose to continue and distribute a mostly-unmodified CM build with only changes for hardware device support, you may continue using the name, but please emphasize that this is an unofficial build within your title and thread. (The only official builds are those downloaded from http://get.cm.) Please understand that we (CyanogenMod team) need to control how our name is used.
Re: [ROM][4.2.1] CyanogenMod 10.1 for Acer A701

OK... So I have installed it on my A701 after doing a data wipe. Installed properly without any issues. It has detected my GSM sim and connected to the mobile network. WiFi also working normally.
Issues are in the actual interface. It seems that this JB is not designed for hi-res tablet like Iconia A701. As the top status bar is way to tiny in terms of height. Though it sort of works in landscape mode... In portrait mode top status bar is virtually impossible to use. Also it seems like it is a phone ROM As navigation soft keys at the bottom middle don't make sense on a 10 inch tablet. Pull down to status bar menus also are a bit inconvenient to use.
ROM smoothness is also below average but games like Temple Run 2 and minimotor racing run fine.
I am going to use it for few days and see if its a keeper or if I should revert back to 4.1.1 stock rooted ROM.
My thanks to the developer for all his hard work and effort.

Oh great! My device was not waking up after a long standby... I hope the new update will fix that issue. Will there be any improvement in the GUI and task bar operation in portrait mode?
Another thing that is on my wishlist is option to hide status bar and soft navigation keys by providing option in long press of power button (its already possible on Nexus 3 (GT-i9250) )
Once again thanks!

Couple bugs right off the bat.
1. After flashing and booting the rom, CPU Sleeper has stopped working. Cannot open CPU Sleeper either.
2. After flashing the gapps in OP, I get a bunch of "Blahblah has stopped working". Workaround was flashing a different gapps.
Also, What's this Seeder app?
I'll let you know if I find anything else.
I know that you have provided Gapps separately, but does this ROM already contain them? Why is it 314MB? Usually, ROMs range from 100MB to 200MB at most.

That's what I thought. Next ROM you should probably remove them atrix2man cause you're not allowed to distribute them with custom ROMs. Anyway, this ROM is pretty good! Will use it for some time and let you know about any problems i encounter.

Thanks for porting this ROM to our device Atrix2man. I can keep myself busy during the holidays . Thank you A2EPT. :good:

I know that you have provided Gapps separately, but does this ROM already contain them? Why is it 314MB? Usually, ROMs range from 100MB to 200MB at most.

Im glad you pointed that out. Ill take gapps off. It has them included and doesnt require flashing. Sorry about that guys.

Flash the rom without gapps. Sorry about that. The seeder app helps prevent lag. Give it a try.

I cant take them out because the creators of the rom already had them built in so i thought it would be alright to share this.

Same problem as Gummy in taking screenshot. Maybe you can ask altered how to fix it.
Overall, pretty good but almost similar to Gummy although it feels like this one is faster and more responsive.

Me and my team work hard to make sure these roms can be daily drivers. Ive been running this rom all day and love it. Many suprises ahead if everything goes right.
As the title says, this is a flashable OmniSwitch recents management zip for 5.1.x ROMs. All credit goes to @maxwen for creating OmniSwitch and @czboyshubham for creating this zip originally for 5.0. I simply updated it for 5.1.x so it functions properly on updated ROMs. I did this for Pure Nexus, but it should work on anything as far as I know - let me know if you run into issues and I will update this post accordingly. czboyshubham's original thread for those who wish to say thanks:

For those of you who need or want to assign a shortcut to open OmniSwitch instead of dragging the handle (or do both like I do), here's a link to the apk "Toggle OmniSwitch" by @kikuto that will allow you to assign it as an app shortcut: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54078587&postcount=19

Updated to include newest OmniSwitch with vertical mode and a few other things as requested by @AndroidSlave

Thanks for the update!
This is what I am loooking for.
Thank you.
Love it.
@wrongway213 would you be kind enough to update this zip to have the newest omniswitch? There are a few amazing new features like having the program in vertical mode that I would love to have.

Sure thing. I'll get it done sometime today and update the OP with a new flashable zip. Thanks for the heads up they added new features - been busy lately and have not been tracking Omni's git.
Can this be flashed on 4.4.2 miui Rom. I like omniswitch

Yeah the vertical feature is awesome. It makes it similar layout to slim recents (but much better IMO)

I've been messing with this for like 2 hours and no matter how I package the zip it will absolutely not open OmniSwitch outside of "restricted mode" no matter what I do. This is apparently going to be more difficult than I thought, but I'm still working on getting the permissions working so we can upgrade.. will update the thread as soon as I get it working. The new layout is nice, but I don't think we want restricted mode.. need to get to the bottom of this.

Same issue I was having. I read somewhere that you can use XxX to fix that issue, but I couldn't figure that out either.

Awesome, glad it's running great for you too. What device/ROM you have it running on? Curious if it is working across the board, works great on Pure Nexus for N6 but haven't tested anything else myself. Anyone who uses this, feel free to leave device/ROM info if it works or doesn't - I hope this is compatible with anything, it should be the way perms are set but I am not really sure so confirmation would be cool.

Also on Pure Nexus on N6. Really no reason it shouldn't universally work though.
Thanks wrongway213, running perfectly - with the toggle apk - on my Xiami Xi3 with 5.1.1 with the EOS AOSP ROM. :good:
Thanks for this. Working on my Oneplus One. The kill app button doesn't seem to work though. I'm not able to swipe apps away either.

What ROM/kernel are you running? Does it give you a "restricted mode" notification when you first boot? I was having these issues for the first 20 or so times I tried to package this, but the release I finally put out works outside of restricted mode on my Nexus 6. My kernel is set to permissive as well, if that matters any - definitely curious to see what causes the incompatibility.

I'm using AK kernel with Cyanogen OS 12.1. Yes, I did get the restricted mode notification. I'll try reflashing it after going back to the stock kernel soon.
Thanks.

I doubt AK kernel is the issue. I'm curious if it's a device issue, or more likely that this does not work on stock firmware, only custom ROMs. If anyone has this up and running on the One Plus One, or if anyone has this running on stock, please let me know. My guess is that this will only work on stock AOSP or custom ROMs, but that is just a guess at this point - hoping to get confirmation as more people download and flash. Thanks for reporting, I'll see what I can do once I get more information from other users across devices (hopefully).
Just wanted to let everyone know - this works for M ROMs, at least for Pure Nexus Marshmallow. Enjoy spicing up your M ROMs until features get added, thought I'd have to wait on Omni M
Hi World,
I've been building a ROM nightly, pulling from LineageOS, LineageOMS, and SultanXDA.
It's been fine for me, so I thought I'd share it for others to use too.
This is my first go at posting this kind of thing, so please go easy on me.

Thanks I didn't realise there was already a similar ROM, which is why I built this one.
It looks like the other is adding other features, whereas I'm sticking to the sources for now, so that's be the difference between the two.
I'll get the change log in the reserved post
Hi! Thank you for your work!
Please consider taking features from this unofficial Sultan's build by @matssa as, according to him, he will stop building for OP3 as OP5 comes out.
Would be awesome if your rom kinda 'inherited' his work into the future

Hi @Nezorflame, I didn't realise this ROM existed until yesterday! Looks interesting, and definitely more involved than what I'm currently doing. I won't be implementing anything from that ROM until development ceases on it. If/when that happens, I'll definitely look into it

Looking forward to it! One thing would be nice though, even if we forget about the features - OTA update
Started using your builds as Matssa is about stop supporting his builds. Got no issues, runs stable and smooth. Looking forward to future updates. Update notes would definitely help this rom grow, ota as well
Switching to this ROM as well as matssa will do only one, final build. @prmcmanus please consider my previous request
Would be really cool if this Dev picks up right where Matsaa leaves off.

I think calling me a Dev might be overly-generous at this point, but I'll learn as I go and do what I can.
I work a 4-on 4-off shift pattern, so I'll look into Matssa's ROM more in a couple of days, and I aim to pick it up.

That's good news! Matssa managed to get lock screen blur working like on official Lineage. Sultan's builds and your current builds don't have this feature so I'm looking forward to see you pick his ROM up.

Yes! Finally just a LineageOS ROM with sultan kernel and OMS without all the extra stuff
THANK YOU!
OTA updates would be one nice thing to add... For the rest it's perfect as is

I've just downloaded your build to flash..
Why are you not updating your thread, I've seen you're making build daily ( may be nightly)...[emoji106]

'Cos it's the first ROM I've shared and I don't know what everyone wants to know
I've been a bit suspicious of the fact all the builds are coming out at a very similar size, so I've started from a clean slate on the last two builds and they still turn out similar.
Not had a chance to look at Matssa's build properly yet.
OTA will be the first thing I implement, given that it's what is being requested
