IF I buy the dual sim version of the moto g would I be able to flash any XT1032 rom and use it in single sim mode?? If not then can anyone tell me about the incompatible roms.
Not sure about any but the stock ones work just fine. Following the idea, it should work fine but I am no expert as I only flashed single sim to get rid off the second sim on the status bar.

WHY? I'D LIKE TO FLASH SINGLE SIM COMPATIBLE ROMS ON MY DUAL SIM WITHOUT CONVERTING TO GPE (IT WIPES ALL DATA IF I RECALL CORRECTLY) (example: PA paranoid android)

I did many stupid things today:
1) Tried to encrypt my phone under CM11 and I lost everything
2) Installed GPE -> 5.0.1
3) So I lost my dual sim
4) Flashed again CM11.. still single sim
Seems that my baseband is MSM8626BP_1032.340.63.00R and I guess that the 1032 number means is the single sim version. Tried searching for answers but I couldn't find anything.
Appreciate any inputs to come back to have my second sim working.

UPDATE: Tried flashing the Asian XT1033 Radio (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2649763) and still I have one sim . Also I have a flickering in the screen until I lock and unlock the phone.

Hi guys. I recently got a Moto G and i knew sim card was not detected by network. Phone it detects it,even apn's. Problem is,it says on operators selection that my sim cant register on the network. My primary phone is a M7 in wich i use my sim just fine.
Also,it is possible to be a cdma phone,but why it has a sim slot and model number as international version? Anyway,in settings it says something about a baseband and not about radio version. Also my htc has baseband version not radio version and it works on gsm.
Anyway,is it possible to flash only modems(radios) on this phone w/o risking of bricking it? I wanna flash GB radios.
And i kinda dont know the whole process since i never had to do it on any of my phones. I would be very thankfull if someone can put me in the right direction with this. Thanks!
Edit : i forgot to mention. I am on cm 12.1 unlocked with latest bootloader.
You should flash stock ROM and try. Sometime CM ROM not work.

I've a big problem with my motorola moto g 4g.
I've changed my phone and i bought a motorola moto x play (with nano-sim).
So, i decide to give my phone (motorola moto g 4g) to my brother, but his SIM doesn't work.
I've changed the SIM with portability of number but still doesn't work!
I tried to use and active SIM with another phone and with that device (LG L9) the sim work.
I tried to do an hard reset by recovery, i tried to do a reflash of lollipop rom that i used on my moto g lte with his radio module, i tried to reflash original kit kat ROM but still doesn't work.
SO, i think my RADIO module is broke. But if i use my SIM with a nano adapter to micro-sim in the motorola moto g, it work! I'm confused. My SIM work, my brother's sim no.
What can i do?
i have flashed cm13 yesterday and found that my dual sim is not working. only sim 1 slot works. sim 2 slot shows the name of carrier
with no service tag and my sms services are not working as well. need help...........if u got any solution please tell me. i dont know much about these.
