Augmented smartwatch you can choose to always have notifications aka screen on/screen off. Works well.

Is there a way to make the display light up when a text or email come through? The little blinking light and almost inaudible tone are killing me...

For text I am using the free app Handcent SMS. It has options for a quick reply window to pop up, even when the phone is locked. If you're familiar with Bitesms for the iPhone its similar to that. Don't know of anything for emails, but have never really looked.

Here is an app that work similar to the Moto x active notifications. The app is called ActiveNotifications. And here is a quick video how it works
This is not my work and I just want to show you about the app. All credits goes to the developer.

It would be great if you add an option to only light up the screen when the proximity sensor is not obstructed. This would prevent it from turning the screen on when the phone is in your pocket for example.
Also, if you want to translate it to PT-BR just send me the files and I'll happily help you out
I'm looking for an app which allows you to switch off the phone with the watch.
I've been searching but no luck.

Does anyone have a reccomendation for an app that kind of simulates quiet hours in cyanogenmod? I miss that feature on new lovely N5 and I want to wait for CM to be stable before flashing.

I ended up using Tasker. There's a pretty good setup to import here: http://tasker.wikidot.com/sleepmode

You can try silent hours. It gives you the option of setting the time and days you want the sound turned off.
I use battery Widget reborn. It has night mode/quiet time features and it's good for quick battery info at a glance

This is not what want I am looking for. I would like to disable widget locker only if I get a notification
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I think it's impossible because you've set the widgetlocker (third party app) as your primary lockscreen, or wait for other feedback
Sent from my Nexus 5
tasker could disable widgetlocker on receiving a certain notification and reenable it after xx seconds or after the screen is turned off

Thank you now it works perfectly
