HOW-TO INSTALL
STEPS:
1. Do a Nandroid Backup! Delete this folders from your SD card .android_secure,Android,LOST.DIR
2. Download the ROM
3. Boot directly into CwM Recovery
4. Wipe data/factory reset
5. Go to advanced -->> Wipe Dalvik Cache
6. Install zip from sdcard -->> choose zip from sdcard
7. Flash MIUI beta 1 Realease.zip and then flash the patch file
This is a ported rom from M3A
So may contain bugs, please feel free to report them

Sigh.. you are making me download this
btw my experiment with fake hongmi is going great. great performance till now and wifi has same nvram issue.
its kind of strange ROM.. sometimes it feels like regular JB with launcher, sometimes MIUI. argh
and your rom is not working
edit: turns out your libmali file is corrupt. i replaced it, removed aroma installer and flashed.
the rom has almost same bugs as my own port. but your camera is also not working.
awaiting new fixes and newer version. cant use this as of now.

camera is not an issue.. i can fix it too. but the sim management failed again. this makes it unusable for me.
it also could be a bug in original ROM. could you update MIUI and test? my attempt to update it always got me stuck

but sim management is working flawless for me i used it for a day and network was also fine.... no crashing

i am really confused how you all gets Bugs as on my MOB all ROMs work perfectly maybe we have two variants of phone also the MIUI ROM i ported is bugless and performance wise it is very good although free RAM is less but Google Now works on it without any glitch

Upload the patch with the mod files bro or it will be better if you upload the full rom ... i will give you my thread and will update the first post with your roms details and credits also

There are minor bugs like wifi not connecting with dhcp,camera(it is an easy fix),but the main issue is that I can't adb shell into the phone,there is an error "sh can't execute,no file or directory ",something along those lines,I tried to fix it,but no luck.Everthing else seems to work nicely.

How is the update on miui coming along? Would love too help
there seems to be an update in MOGU M3A MIUI port. Could use it for a more stable ROM
not done yet
that new patch didnt work for me but now i hav solved the camera problem by copy pasting lib files from stock rom to miui using root explorer directly.. copy only lib files having libcam and libcamera words... camera works now. but cant use the rom because of 2 more heavy bugs :banghead:
1. Phone restarts after ending any call..
2. cant scroll smoothly in apps, while scrolling yu feel like yu are scrolling with roughness..
can any1 solve these problems?
sure do post a new version of miui.. and if yu have karbonn a12+ then atleast test the main functions like camera, wifi, sensors, Bluetooth, in app scrolling before releasing the new version. thnx. eagerly waiting..:sly::sly::thumbup:

No video playback. This rom uses the same libs and proprietary files than iuss cm10, and obviouly suffers same issues...
BTW, pa looks great on OT995

Indeed, I really based this rom on CM 10 so all their issues will also appear here. .
But the progress will be regular I hope.
If many ppl are interested, I'll keep working on it.
And YES, ot 995 is really targeted for paranoid Android

I will throw any rom I can at this phone, so please continue!
I've never tried PA before, so I'll check out as much as I can. I experienced one bug. When I tried entering Paranoid android settings, it crashed.
This rom is very nice. I can't test it like I would like to though cause the battery won't charge. I guess it's just a bug that needs to be rectified. I will try the next test rom for sure though.
EDIT:
Just flashed back to my backup of iuss's CM10. That fast. So you can get back to ICS, GB guys. Don't sweat it.
Took all of about 5-7 min between posts.
As long as you backup before you flash you'll have no problem at all.
Just reverse the process.
Boot the original recovery by iuss
Wipe data/factory reset
and proceed to restore in the usual manner.

I had the same problem, even after many reboots. It just wouldn't allow me to enter that part of the menu.

THAT is strange.. my phone was working quite weel and i was able to change parameters in the PA settings..
did you at least see the submenu of PA settings or not ?
Wiped everything and reflashed PA...
Rebooted...
"Settings" crash immediately when "PA settings" click. No submenu appears.
I have to enable android debug to get battery charging.

about Carliv Touch Recovery you will have to swipe up down,left right, to work & for applying update it will be better to make a folder in root of sd card with name starting from A**** So that it will display it first, ya its little bit complex but its BEST,as many option like aroma file manger,
I will try to port twrp recovery for our phone when I will get time. :good:

Couldnt take photos :crying: Please help me out. and one more thing loudspeaker during phone calls s not working.. it keeps beeep sounds continuosly

okay, for fast solutions
try installing rom once again then install update
remember dont factory reset just goto recovry then install above files it will be okay all app will be there with all bugs fixed, and no problem giving bugs info will lead to bugfree rom
mine still working fine can you remember how the problem occured

next time make sure you make a cwm backup
if anything gone wrong you can revert back
and if next time if it occurs first try to remove modules which you installed then reboot if same occurs again then use cwm backup.
and did it resolved now after reflashing rom

first go to recovery then goto
backup & restore option
choose to backup into sdcard or in internal anyone
it will take sometime after completion you can reboot
for restoring you can di same to restore bakup files
make sure you make backup after installing update.zip
so that everytime you wont have to update
working now on porting the kitkat ui hope I will succeed

The issue is caused by /system/priv-app/teleservice.apk resolved by replacing /system/priv-app/teleservice.apk from ROM

Hi Have found the following bugs,
1. Compass not working (Always stuck with initializing in quick settings. Checked with 3rd part app as well)
2. Lock screen button stopped working, had to use QuickBoot app to restart and get things working.
3. Can you fix the offline (switched off) charging Battery, it goes below the screen.
4. Quick Settings have partially displayed Text like Data Packet, Long Press to record.
5. Quick Settings panel goes a bit below the separator (optional, doesn't really matter)
6. Languages: Driving Mode (I couldn't understand anything ), Legend Settings (Predictable)
Incremental fix would be appreciated.. Thx..

our mobile does not have compass sensor so that's why its stuck initializing
ya its issue of battery charging animation in offline mode but it will charge fine I a sure u that
lock screen button a bit lazy in this ROM
so when u see it goes out of action just let it relax a bit it will start working fine lol....all these can't be fixed .sorry for these issue...I will check on others too as soon as possible

OOh..! Is it..! Actually this isn't my phone, my gf's... I screwed it up earlier with some ROM and now I have to fix it :angel: ... So I wasn't aware of the complete specs... Seeing compass in the apps n settings thought it was available... Sorry for that...

Another stuff, yesterday first dailed call caused a reboot later calling worked...
I m on to new ROM ....which got base of legend 11 ...its bugless till now...but nothing new so I may not gonna launch it...although driving mode language is still alien one...NY tway if u want bugless ROM I think best is z2 by pinto...he is one who taught me ....and yeah these problem are of ROM ...try z2 and :highfive:.....I used z2 regularly for like 2 months

Btw, battery backup very poor.. don't last the normal duration that too without much usage... I liked the ROM but seems will try another coz of battery n some random reboots else I found it to be a great ROM..

Dear users, i have edited this post after using Bugless v3 rom for somedays and i noticed that some bugs are still remaining...
But renayed1 beta2 rom is still the best cm12.1 for our device (h30-u10). No heating issues and great battery life..but the vpn bug, youtube 360p max only these 2 bugs remains...

Thank you very much for your great work. Everything works mostly fine. But I found that VPN doesn't work. I set up everything (PPTP). When I connect it, it just shows "fail". Can you fix it? Thank you.

Plz use any vpn app from play store..like flash VPN, open VPN. I hope they'll work.
I don't use VPN and I'm not the creator of this ROM...so I don't know much bro..

I have a VPN at home. It's fast and stable. I travel frequently to China, I have to use it to connect to Gmail and google search. Therefore, it's very important to me.
I fixed "blocked caller list" in new version rom (and other things like replace KingRoot by SuperSu, replace dialer and modify platform.xml) :

if you can fix it and make a patch for that is better. download full rom is such possible for limited bandwidth users.

Thanks Issux! I really hope that the VPN bug can be fixed soon. I have tried different CM12.1 roms but they all couldn't connect to my VPN at home

Hey nadeem119, I see you posting links all the time to downloaded stuff without linking to the original or mentioning where you got it from. I don't know if it's just me but it seems rather rude AND/OR could also be seen as suspect as it's easy enough for you to mod the package to install malware. (Not saying you are doing that....but it also shouldn't be ruled out.) No offence intended.

Hey Issux, are you able to advise what you've done with the Rom exactly? I'm currently been trying to port the rom myself from the same CM ROM base you're using and been having issues. I downloaded your version and noticed a slight difference in your updater-script, but just wondering what else you've done. Going to try your updater script on my package.
Trying my hand at all this stuff. Just curious what changes you made to Ajit's rom and/or any patches you included.

Right off the bat, I’m not a developer, and therefore I cannot answer all your questions. I put together this rom for my own personal use, it's my daily driver. Friends on other forums encouraged me to create this thread for the original Darklord Note7 V1.0 rom, because of the chaotic way many joint fixes were added on numerous threads. In short, this is a fixer-upper thread with a version update to reference the change. To be clear, this is still his rom and not mine. The idea here is for all to help each other, I will help whenever I can, but time is of essence; I’m moving work, home and family to Dubai next month. So please, I encourage others who can contribute to chime in and give all of us a hand here.
Thanks to @darkera13 and all the brilliant guys and girls on samsungvn.com and Aurora team who contributed all these fixes. Without them there would be no Note7 port for our beloved Note3. Think about it guys, we are the only ones carrying a cool Note7 phone in our pockets today.
This version has Isskernel 3.5UX but you can change to other preferred kernels. This is not my favorite kernel, but you know how that goes on xda; we cannot link to kernels with unpublished source code, (read here) darkera13 chose not to. Wait 15-20 minutes for reboot. (you might experience a reboot or 2 with Isskernel) If you want to change Kernel, have one ready on your SdCard and flash immediately after flashing rom before you reboot.
Step-1 BACKUP YOU CURRENT ROM
Step-2 Clean-wipe anf flash rom

*Important*
If you previously synced with Samsung cloud, then you are out of luck with this rom. As mentioned in step-2 Gallery fixed, to solve the white Gallery bug, I removed Samsung Cloud. Samsung account still syncs stuff as before; SNote, Samsung Notes Scrapbook, Health, etc. I believe contacts, keyboard, favorites and apps & pictures have all been moved to Samsung Cloud in Note7. So, if you're dependent on Samsung Cloud this is not the the rom for you. Google sync is still available, if not better.
If you are still experiencing the white Gallery bug (cause it's persistent) download and replace this Note5 Gallery with a modified UX icon to match Note7 . File path: system/priv-app/SecGallery2015, permissions: 0644. Reboot.

If you are talking about sent emoji not seen on receiver devise, well this issue is still not resolved. All these fixes come from samsungvn and aurora, so we just have to hope someone fix it eventually. I'm not a developer I just did this for my own personal rom. I think Darklod's original version is still the best of all Note7 ports, and some friends here on xda encouraged me to do this to keep it alive.

Only thing will not sync is Gallery, because it has a bug in its sync function that will drive you nuts.
