this post needs to be moved into Q and A section!!
anyway, download .zip of yannou recovery and flash it through your current recovery, or install with app search on play store

You have the evita?
Flash twrp 2.3.3.1 or 2.6 only correctly working versions. Usb mount works great on it

Yes and agree. First you neet to make sure your phone is HTC One XL/Rogers/AT&T One X.(LTE)
Then you can fastboot flash TWRP 2.3.3.1 or 2.6
They have mount option to allow you to access.
TWRP website: teamw.in/project/twrp2/99
It will tell you how to flash.
OK so I'm new to XDA flashing roms, etc (aka a newb). I'm attempting to flash a custom rom on my rooted Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 using TWRP recovery. I keep getting a failed message when attempting to flash. Any advice on how to proceed would be HIGHLY appreciated!!
Download the file again on your computer. Transfer file to SD card via card reader/writer

It is. I keep getting a "no MD5 file not found" message
Make sure you're on the latest version of TWRP. I believe it ends in ".1".
Otherwise just use CWM instead. You can install that with a free app called Flashify very easily.

Easiest way is to restore with odin
then using Casual All in one
Root, Flash Insecure aboot
go to google play download Rom manager then install CWM
or try just download rom manager then install CWM replace TWRP
Problem is I'm still in TWRP recovery, as I've been unsuccessful with flashing any ROM (so far). Do I need to have an operating system installed in order to install CWM?

So good news. I was successful at installing Paranoid android.:victory: I am mentally exhausted, but this was definitely a learning experience! Thank you everyone who'd replied. All your guidance was very helpful! :highfive:
I am using SGT 2 7.0.. and forr using sensonic hd rom I need to flash twrp but I am already rooted with cwm... need help urgently... thnkx.. keep the good work goin guys...
There should be a flashable zip that you can run in cwm to install twrp.
If not you can use Odin or Mobile Odin to flash recovery.
There is a free version of mobile Odin I've used, you need to install a file but it guides you through.
Ill try to find links but I'm on my phone so if you have a PC it may be faster.

You can download the TWRP zip and install it in CWM as you do with a custom rom ("Install zip from sdcard")

Not hard at all. Go to the play store and download twrp manager. Once installed it will of course ask for root permissions. It will flash it via the app then you should be good to go
