buy this and follow steps on ifix it. Don't just order the screen. get the full display and frame.

the adhesive is sold separately ,i think its wise to buy a good quality sheet to get the digitizer fit right

My son has a i9020 screen that is cracked can I switch it too a LCD screen for a I9023 they cost a lot less then the super amaloid.

No you cant. Digitizer setup is different. Its like you want to put golf 2 headlights in place of golf 4.

Yeah, i would say buy phone for parts and fix your phone at home. There are plenty of tutorials. Its not hard.

My screen cracked and after using it for a month or two now the screen doesn't register input. Any idea how much it would be to repair it or if it's hard to do it myself?

There are some small phone shops in my country which get thing done with less harm on my pocket in my areas, if you want cheap, you could find them at your place
