the Galaxy Gear 2 will retail for €299, while the Gear 2 Neo will go for €199. The Gear Fit will be priced similarly to the Gear 2 Neo at €199 as well.
At those prices the Best Buy sale of the Galaxy Gear a couple of weeks ago for $149 was a steal.

Yes Galaxy Gear for $150 is great deal.
Thinking lately about the Gear Fit, the Galaxy Gear 2 does not interest me at all.

not necessarily. i've seen a lot of gadgets with pricing like 300 USD in USA and 300 EUR in Europe...
It's not really fair, as 300 euros equals to more or less ~410 USD

It seems to me that the Galaxy Gear is a better deal than the Neo 2. If given the choice of a Galaxy Gear cheaper than the Neo 2, I think most would opt for the Galaxy.
I'm still confused on battery life. If the GG has a bigger battery and slower processor, why does the GG not have longer battery life?

Rumor only, so who knows?
Remember that this is not confirmed, only a rumor. I will so gladly pay $299 US for the Gear 2, as you have to understand what goes into it. Remember that a Galaxy note 3 or and iPhone go for over $700 unsubsidized, so the idea of paying for a piece electronics at $300 is not that bad. I still hope they come in at $249 or less but we shall have to see, but people should not expect to see them under $200.

Groupon has a great deal for the Samsung Galaxy Gear Smartwatch & I thought I would share to people who may be interested. These are new & cost $129.99 plus taxes, compared to the retail price of $299.99! This is a steal in my opinon. Six different colors to chose from.

Most people may overlook this one as a likely source to buy the watch, but I bought my gear s2 classic from Dell...... $50.00 off.

Just keep searching and move in quickly when there is a deal. I had great offer from Macy's two days before Black Friday: had the gear s2 classic for $254.99. That was $95 below normal price!

I picked mine up from T-mobile in Holland for €250 ($275). That's 150Eur off the price here ? For the classic of course. Normally €400.
The shop manager had to confirm with HQ that it was allowed ?

Hi, I saw this watch few months ago, and I loved the design, Bestbuy put the refurbished version of the sport gear s2 on 140 bux right now, and I have this question...
This watch still worth? I wan't the watch just to changue my music (volume up/down) saw/answer my notifications, and nothing more, basic stuff.
This still worth? Im thinking about bought a lg g4/moto x pure/galaxy s7-note5 to pair with the watch.

For $140? Yes, definitely! The watch originally retailed for $300, $350 for the 4G/GPS version, and honestly, I don't think ANY smartwatch is worth that (mine was free with S7). It's cool, just not $300 cool lol. $140 is totally worth it though. You can barely get a fitness tracker that doesn't suck for that.

You can get a s2 classic refurbished foe 171 u$d right now ... Granted it is a refurb, I'm seriously contemplating getting one myself... My girlfriend has the Rose Gold s2 classic and I really want to get one.

Just got my essential 4 days ago. Amazon wanted me to return it and buy new one at lower price instead of refund the differences.?

you are lucky you live in the us and do not have to pay customs taxes.... I bought mine 2 days before the cyber Monday deal. because I live in Europe I was ****ed. I got a 99$ gift card but not the 360 cam.
so return it and let them bleed. not you!

After conversions and postage it came to about $600 Australian.
I just bought one on a whim, heaven help me. I could have bought something with a better reputation for that money, but I am just curious about this thing.

it's a great phone.
The initial performance and throttling issues are worked out.
When it first released I sent it back because a LG G6 would benchmark better.
Now running various benchmarks on Oreo B3 it benchmarks about as high as the theoretical limit for a SD835 device.
The camera is okay, but I own three APS-C cameras so I don't care if it's not the best on the market.

$449 now on Amazon.

I bought mine from Telus in Canada for $460, no contract. They are required by law to unlock phones upon request as well. $460 CAD is a lot less than $499US
