Hi everyone,
A friend of mine has a S2 Plus.
She asked to root it and flash a custom rom.
Rooted it (4.1.2) > Installed CMW > Flashed the 4.4.2 Resurrection Remix® Kitkat rom
But when I start the phone it won't get further than the screen where it says "Samsung i9105p".
What did I wrong and how can I fix it ? Do I need to flash something special to get to 4.4.2 ?
I tried wipe data/cache, Dalvik ect.
Greetings
Glenn
Now I read that I need to flash a 4.2 bootloader. Where can I get one ?
Nice work. Yes u need 4.2 bootloader. Go to sammobile firmwares section, give phone's model number(gt-i9105/p) download 4.2.2 android version and flash it ur friend's phone with odin. Then flash custom recorvery(u don't need root) and flash remix rom

I have rom toolbox pro installed on my rooted Nexus 4. I have downloaded the Frank rom that is a marshmallow custom rom and I want to ask if I can install that rom zip file directly from the rom toolbox app or not? Will it be safe or not? There is an option of installing the rom from SD. Please help.
Hi,
Thanks for using XDA Assist.
It's pretty easy to flash a custom on a Nexus device. Why not use a custom recovery like TWRP?
Hey guys, I have trouble when installing custom rom with my galaxy chat..now the IMEI and mac address has gone and I can't connect my phone to pc..

Hello i have a rooted galaxy j710gn oreo. and i have flashed a custom rom on it. my question is, can i flash another custom rom to replace my current custom rom? or should i flash it to stock rom and flash the new custom rom?
please response guys. bcos i want to replace my old custom rom and replace it with a new One UI custom rom.
Yes you can. As a precaution, do a backup in TWRP first. Then wipe and flash.
