Is anyone working on custom roms for this phone? My wife gave up her Evo 4G for this phone because of the specs, and so far all I have been able to do is root it. Which was nice in the begining... but since they rolled out the stock ICS, she wanted that... so now it is back to stock and unrooted running OTA ICS.
I have the Nexus S 4G and am constantly flashing new roms to it and she is not happy that my older phone has such a big dev community and her new phone does not.
Hey guys,
Flashed to liquidsmooths 4.2.2 3/5/13 for vzw yesterday and everything is working awesome except that I'm overseas and the titanium backup and apn manager pro trick to enable data with a non verizon sim card doesn't work anymore on 4.2.2. Wondering if anyone has a solution or another way to enable non verizon data back with 4.2.2. Really don't want to go back to 4.1.2. If anyone can help that would be awesome thanks!
So after a lot of looking around the only solution I found was to flash CM10.1 Offical Nightlies 3/15/13. Got everything working on first boot with the non verizon sim, I'm on 3.5g and on the web in Spain. Their mobile networks settings are extensive (add custom apn and select gsm) and as easy as it should be. I really hope liquid smooth can put these features intro their build because theirs is just so much cleaner and faster. Anyways here's the link if anyone is looking for this answer.

Hey guys
today ive been working on getting a new rom instead of the stock one on my Galaxy s3 mini i8910n.
Ive managed to get something to work on it,but i got into a problem that non of the Return Or Menu buttons on the device arent working
what could be the problem? is that the device? the baseband? what could it be?
if it matters i have XXAMI1 baseband on my devicel, and I tried to flash the NovaFusion cm11,the aospa rom and the carbon one... all of them were version 4.4.4
if you can help me i will be very thankful
First of all, this issue isn't just gonna get fixed by flashing a Sense-based ROM, then going back to CM12. This goes deeper than that...it seems to be working fine for guys running the same ROM with TMO and other carriers.
What does anyone know about GPS not being able to communicate with GPS satellites when running most CM12 ROMs with Verizon's 4.4.4 firmware on your M8? Could this be kernel related? Is it that Verizon 4.4.4 firmware (CDMA) is conflicting with something? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
same issue on Sprint m8

I just flased to CM 12 Nightlies and my GPS lost as well. The GPS worked great on stock kit Kat.

That does fix the issue for a lot of people and is recommended across devices when trying to get a GPS lock on an aosp Rom (example: vzw note 2) also, some people have to do it a couple times before it works. If it still isn't working for you you can try a clean flash to stock sense get the lock etc, and then copy gps.conf from /system/etc, restore your bAckup of cm12 and paste it in the same place (back up the original first), set perms to 644, reboot and hope for the best

Just so I said it, I've got the same issue on the sprint version.
Lost GPS
I did as you suggested and tried Skyfire. The gps worked But no service or mobile data (waa waa). I made a copy of the ect/gps file and replaced it once I flashed back CM 12. Un fortunatly that didn't do the trick. Thanks for the suggestion though.
Hi all, I see att has finally released the 5.0 update for LG g2. Question : is everything working fine with it? ( any bugs or glitches) and does the mms work with straight talk service ? It took me forever to get mms working on android 4.4 (used gosms). I'd really like to know before I update. Thanks guys!
