Dear ROM Developers,
today i saw one thread of micromax canvas getting samsung galaxy note 3 port with multi-window
& it make me sad to see phones like micromax getting galaxy Port but our original samsung galaxy R has not got any galaxy port :crying: ..
i love stock ui of android but i also miss some features of stock samsung
since omni ROM of android 4.4 is soo stable then can you try to port any new samsung Stock kitkat ROM to our galaxy R
atleast give it a try....... i can use little bit buggy Port ROM also

I don't think its possible because Adam tried to port JB ROM to our Galaxy R and finally he have dropped it because we are not having JB libraries or something (i am not exactly sure)...
Yep.. Even I tried.. Without jb blobs we can't do that...

I know that.. actually that is coz of application porting only. They have ported only applications not whole rom. Also, MMX is having JB in each phone.

if we cant port then is it possible to download source code from samsung open source(http://opensource.samsung.com/) website & modify source code just like you did to stock AOSP source code
or instead of modifying source code can we port touchwiz to custom ROM because i heard it is possible to port touchwiz

Hey Guys I am looking for a jelly bean update for my Samsung Galaxy s Duos (GT-S7562) but theer is none uptill now and I heard that it is not sure tht it will come for this device so m looking for a good custom rom as this stock firmware is quiet laggy.....
I tried using Kyle open 3.3.0 and Hydrogen rom bt they are not satisfactory will i get a cyanogen mod 10.1 rom(Jelly Bean 4.2.1) update for this device....

Try PMP Lite ROM ,,it is quite good, performance wise & customised. with themes.

can any one give me the boot.img for stock jelly bean rom (4.1.2) ( I mean that without any addtions for tweaks etc.) and be compatible with our device s7500 for testing a modified jellybean rom based on a stock one (which is also without tweaks and with very minor modifications) ?????

I'm tying to port custom rom of galaxy fame and making some changing like removing its gpu dricer and installing our ace plus hoping this will make something better even that I knew that porting rom between different devices demand same cpu type (arm5 or arm6 or arm7) and luckly the two devices are arm7
hope to make something

Tried porting rom of galaxy fame with several guides from xda but all failed with several bugs :
1- faced updater scripts bugs that can't flash the rom via TWRP or CWM.
2- if I solved the first one, then I faced the bootloop even in samsung bootscreen or GT-s7500 screen or The bootloop of the special rom.bootscreen
tried about 4 days without sucessful result
but may be these problems because of the different chipset between ace plus and galaxy fame, but this very possible to port rom from galaxy fame to our device but need professional developer.
so, I think those problem will not be there in porting from galaxy young by the simple ways in the guides because it has the same chipset of our device.
may be I try again with galaxy young another time
Today while browsing through net, i got to know about a lollipop rom for Samsung galaxy grand duos on techdroider.
The cyanogenmod 12 based on android 5 lollipop is now available for Samsung galaxy grand duos. Kind of exciting because Samsung galaxy core duos and Samsung galaxy grand duos share somewhat same kind of specs.
Can any of the developers please try to port this rom to Samsung galaxy core duos. Plsss plsss:fingers-crossed:

Hahaha. Idk how to call them. I just giving some motivation quotes. There are a few developers that has come to make ROM for galaxy core duos. Some of them are Omkar$,ankur850,vvbaibhav,abhi922,NovaFusion and others that I forgot their name. Still we got no CM

but samsung did not made 4.4.2 for such hardware so without custom rom you will not be able to do it.

Tab wasnt made to handle MiUi either but there are a bunch of miui ports to tab 2
So why not a stock 4.4.2
I am trying to port but i am stuck at samsung logo !
I dont know how to use android kitchen . If someone would help me by cooking a kernel , it would be of great help
