iCrap headsets for Android devices

Hi Guys
I've been looking for a nice headphones with mic and control buttons for my Legend
Unfortunately companies make only ones for iPhone
Apple does not like us to use them
So they have put a chip which allows them to work only with idevices
When u connect them to legend mic do not work (but the phone recognize it as coneceted)
Only central button works (allows u to play and stop music only)
I've read that there is a patch for HTC magic
Which allows to use iPhone ones
I've been wondering is there a way to make them work on legend as well
If anyone have any info about how to do it please help

Hi yeah the htc headphones are terrible but you will also find that the iphone/ipod 4 headphones work too for android phones
my sister has a ipod 4 and got a set from the apple store 25 gbp logitec ones sounds very nice and bass is great too inner ear ones 3 button control
i tried these on my phone and they worked but only one button worked but that could be due to cm7 but any iphone/ipod 4 ones will work

The problem is that microphone is not working
At the end I bought sennheiser px200-lli, they have a brilliant sound quality and they can b folded to small size
I hope I'll manage to make them work somehow

[Q] Bluetooth earphone...

I know bluetooth headsets use A2DP and bluetooth earphones use HDP and there are a few tweaks to fully redirect phone's audio to an earphone. I want to ask if somebody here knows if any of those tweaks work on CyanogenMod 7 and if so - which ones. Thanks in advance.

Nevermind, I bought a Motorola H500 today and it is actually working pretty good with BTmono.

No one beats Nokia in music, but I luv o1 too

Least bass effect . Ear phone for optimus one was far better than this .

You must not have put the correct size of buds for your ears. The earphones are very good. The bass, I agree is not the best, but it is good.

I would second that, use tips which give you quality sound and ones which don't cause pain.

Try the bass enhancement option in Music settings. Else you'll just have to buy better ones.

For someone who isn't all that into music, I have found the earphones to be pretty good. I would say they are on par with the Nokia Music Express earphones that I had before.

but with samsung phones all kind of headphones doesn't works, i've got awesome headsets with nokia n8 but when i use that with R i don't hear any voices

poweramp is paid app, you can use dsp manager also, see "titanium rom" and "infected rom" they both have dsp manager.

You can very well give a try installing trial version and decide which one is the best. Btw i'm not promoting here. Just a satisfied user after trying all other apps

One could also try N7player from Google Play/Market currently its free as its in beta and had a different interface from the regular players.
It has a Bass Boost option which can be boosted by quite a good amount.

Try out Music volume eq from market..You wil feel the real diff..Seriously i felt the same but after using this , i never thought of changing headphones.

the bundled earphone is good enough in term of bass, do not let the sound leak by using appropriate size of eartip with thm and it could get you enough amount of bass...

I agree, the headphones included are pretty much trash, compared with my CX870 they sound terrible. I know these are expensive, but any good headphones for about 20-40$ will sound better and probably last longer. I'm in love with sennheiser, the cx200 can be found for 20$ and they sound really good too for the price.

Yes !! the Effect is really good when used in Power AMP, but when compared to my Nokia N8 ear phones, its bad.

I also have a i9000 phone and its earphones look identical as the provided by the i9103. Except for the jack, which stripes are white instead of black. The i9000 ones sound way better that the i9103.
They are also incompatible, I mean, I can't swap them. Using Voodoo on both phones.

The mentioned product is one of the best and worth buying. It supports Bluetooth 3.0 and A2DP. And AFAIK, The Canvas 2 has Bluetooth 3.0 and support for A2DP. So, I think In every way it is supported....[Still, I may be wrong. I am not completely confident.]

I use iBall BTHS05. I bought it online from shopclues using coupon @1070.
Short review: sound quality is good, but not at high volume, battery lasys continuously for 4 hrs, all buttins ate fully supported, can use any other headphones with it. Shopclues has pathetic service but iball's response was good.

I am new to this forum. Can anybody suggest me a good and very minimal bluetooth headset for Micromax A110 (Also compatible with other phones)

I use Nokia BH-505. It works so good. Good quality of sound and voice too.

Do not buy Zebronics, it is not compatible with Micromax Canvas 2 as well as Canvas 4, my observation. While this thing connected with Sony Xperia, i assume the problem is between Micromax and Zebronics.

Guys the headset compatibility of Canvas 2 is so worst:crying::crying:. Nothing is compatible. But at the same time Canvas HD supports everything. My query is ... Is it possible to change the 3.5mm female jack (on the phone) of canvas 2 with that of canvas HD???

use Nokia Headphones worth rs 350 .. awesome quality.. m using it..

Simply get a 3.5mm to 2.5mm jack. Then all headsets will be compatible.

It's the hardware thing of the 4 splits made by the 3 ring on the 3.5mm jack. The order differs from old nokia standards to the current 3.5 mm headset standards. That's the main thing why many headsets are not compatible with each other.

Most 3.5mm earphones without mic suits our superfone!!
Guys almost all earphones without mic like JBL, sony and others i have tested give the best results. Have tested with Viper4Android equalizer. Simply amazing!!
So better get one without mic if you are a music lover and if u want to attend calls get Nokia wh-205. I wasn't satisfied with the music experience it gave!!

buddy universal jack is for using only headphones or earphones, handfree are device specific so some may work and some do not.
its not an compatibility problem.

i bought Beats headset from ebay at Rs.250 and it works fine.

get urself bluetooth headphones Bh503, u wont touch others if u try, if u dont like ulky then Bh-505 is way to go. sound output awsome with zplayer. even stock players sounds gud with its own equalizer settings.

No bro. I ordered sony MDR-zx 100a without mic on snapdeal N when I played some music on 110, nothing really exciting , Preddy ordinary sound quality , not much loud. Eventhough I'm using customRom n apps like volume+. I'm very much disappointed.. Bt I connected it to HTC one S or s2, awesome n loud sound clarity... I'm happy with headphones but sad with micromax audio output
