ROM of Mobistel Cynus T2
The ROM remains ultimately stock and the partitions will be untouched during the flashing process. The changes are
- 12MP Rear Cam
- 1.3MP Front Cam
- Better Speed in 3G
- Great Sound output than both the stock ROMS (V1 & V2)
- Better adobe flash performance in browsers
- Brighter Flash intensity than V2
- Lesser battery drain compared to bothe the stock ROMS
- Super smooth and Super Stable
- Comes with official Mobistel UI
Antutu Score - 6415
Quadrant Score - 2604
Again reminding everybody about the idea of this ROM. We tested whether MC T2 ROMs will boot on system as Mobistel is lauching its JB update in the first week of JAN. This ROM was so stable and perfect for our device too which ensures no need of port of JB from other devices as it will be readily available for our devices too even before Micromax releases it (if they ever had a idea of that).
Rom Flashing Steps:
First you need to revert to stock recovery as this ROM will not get updated to CWM recovery.
Then copy the ROM in your internal sd card.
Enter stock recovery by pressing (Vol+)+(Vol-)+Power. Then press Vol+ button once the option screen turns up.
Flash the ROM.(No need to wipe cache and Dalvik cache)
Reboot the device.
Go to settings-backup & reset-factory data reset.
No lags found so far. If you find something please post it as comments below.

Just flashed it
First impressions are good...yet to test camera and flash intensity but device is genrally little more smoother that stock v1/v2 of mmx.
Rooted, about to instal CWM.Will keep you guys posted.:victory:
But seriously--12mp n 1.3 mp...why was mmx limiting the hardware specs like this??
No auto brightness
images andvideos are now by default stored on external memory unlike v2
Flash is definately brighter than V2
Edit:: Just saw a tv out option in display settings....but i confess that i dont know how to use it
More learned men kindly tell me about this tv out.
Edit 2:: Just saw the option for wifi direct.now sure wether it is working or not...it did turn on upon ticking the box however the settings didnt popup for them upon opening.
Edit 3:: Installed CWM...taking backup now.

Will update about everything tomorrow including TV out and light sensor

shivg86...its very simple.
1--copy zip file to memory card
2--turn off mobile phone.
3--with mobile in off state, press both volume buttons and power button simultaneously
4..now canvas2 logo will flash...leave those buttons now...then the recovery screen will flash.
Now press volume up button.
5--choose update from sdcard2
6--select the zip file using volume buttons
7--press enter by pressing the menu(square capacitive button)
8---let it reboot
9--you are done, enjoy
10--thank me by pressing thanks...if this short guide helped you.

yes...if u check for sensors it does detect a sensor but the sensor itself did not detect any magnetic field. either the earth's natural magnetic field or the one i created by using an electromagnet.

1-With 2nd dailer allignment is fine but gestures are not working .. Gestures working in only stock dailer of rom.
2-Call logs not shown in both dailers.
3-Phone hangs and force reboot some times when multitasking .

bro reflash rom as it was not hanging tested many times flash properly again gestures are working properly checked more than 10times ... working without stock dailer

Installed Hike OS rom today..Beautiful UI..Smooth...Swap worked on my phone..its buttery smooth..
Love the keyboard..Free RAM 200+ after installing 40+ apps..multi tasking works..no lags..
Camera is GREAT..
Only concern for me is the Dialer/In-Call Screen..after installing the dialer patch, the phone dialer is aligned properly..however, in the in-call screen only half the number is displayed..difficult to understand the full contact number..
Can this be corrected..? Or provide a patch for the 4.2 stock dialer and in-call screen please..

Overall a wonderful look. Phone starts with Lenovo boot logo. and even user interface is a mixture of lenovo and miui.
Just like we do not have any application menu at the boot this also doesn't have any. All your app shortcuts will be displayed on to your home screen.
No sound fluttering problem. Sound was clear and audible.
Video player has pop out option. So we can have multitasking.
Dxtoolbox has been provided which takes care of optimisation and clearing background apps.
Over all OS was good. Will get back to you if i notice any bugs.

notification sound managable??
Whan i ported this rom i was unable to manage the volume of the notification sound volume, even when i put the volume of notification @ lowest stage it did sound.
Later i found that notification volume is following music voulme which is very annoying.
However RAM consumption can be decreased a lot in this rom, it will always give aroung 400 free ram, if you remove soe useless lenovo apps like calander, replacing some useless apps u can acheive awesome performance also, i did.

looking at the screen shots everything looks lollipop .....so where is kitkat in it?? just curious....

First of all ,the Rom is very good with very much similarity to android L, but while using i notice some minor issues
1) when pressing home button, sometimes it opens recent apps instead of home screen and also a little bit of lag while doing that.
2) OK Google is working on all screens but it doesn't catches voice even if we speak so close to the phone, it works only if we speak loudly and so close to the phone i think that there is some mic problem
other than that the Rom is very good, good battery backup, excellent user interface
please fix the above mentioned minor issues.

Yes rom is supperb, great so far, i just noticed some lags... But can be ignored..... Great work keep it up...

I have a problem with the super su binary update...
Other than I love the ROM...

Hey i edited systemui to make recent apps panel look more like lollipop...
Bt there's always some problem with last item in panel...
Some portion of last panel is cut...
Other than that it works good...
I m adding screenshot and mod
Please check and tell if u can help...
For others who want to try can directly flash the zip file from below...

Bro its system file so u cant install it directly...
U need to manually push it into system->priv-apps and then set correct permission...
Or else if u want i can give u flashable zip...

Plz give flushable zip file for this...

Just flash "Alice_Lollipop_recent_apps_v0.4.zip" from below directly from recovery..
if you dont like it and want to revert back flash "Alice_original_recent_apps.zip"...

both are same...
u cannot install systemui.apk directly u will have to manually push it into system...
so i suggest just go for zip file...
