[Q] Keyboard Bug - Sony Xperia L

Hey i'm having this weird bug .I recently formatted my device due to lag and random reboot issues and added swiftkey(stock sony was deleted by me earlier)so as the device started i didn't have any keyboard lol so had to send apk via bt and installed it and since then i am facing this bug where ,when i exit an app after typing something let's say whatsapp ,the keyboard doesn't quit ,it just stays on the screen, pressing back , home nothing works, rebooted, wiped cache, deleted app data, app itself ,installed other keyboard as well but still no luck. The only solution i have is open expanded desktop and hid the soft key and then turn it off ,and then the keyboard quits ! I need a solid solution,i can't keep on doing on and off ! Any help would be appreciated!

Hi,
I had a similar problem. Seemed to start when I added a particular widget (forget which one now!). Once I removed the widget and did a phone power-cycle: the problem went away.
Looked to me like a memory problem - aka some application overwriting the screen buffer.
thanks

but also google search bar widget has this issue too
EDIT:
i remove widget and then add it , now issue went . i dont know it appearing later again

I am having similar problems with my screen. I thought I was the only one. I found that once I removed the widget and replaced it, the issue would go away. The problem only seems to arise on the panels immediately left and right of the home panel. I have had my phone since the 15th and the problem cropped up 3 times so far (including today). I can live with this minor inconvenience until I root my phone.

Xperia Z3 vibration issues

Hi Guys.
Greetings from Ireland. I have an Xperia Z3 D6603. Its running stock Andriod L 5.0.2 with Apex launcher instead of Xperia home. Its a great phone and besides some small issues I love it. The main issue however is that it randomly stops vibrating which can be quite irritating. It started acting up about a month ago and I presumed it must have been an app causing the phone to misbehave, however when I boot the phone into safe mode the same occurs. Usually from boot up it will work for about 10 key presses, for eg the home button pressed multiple times and then it stops working. Then after a few minutes it will kick back in. This is most noticeable when typing and is annoying. Its like the motor gets tired and cuts out if that's even possible? Anyone else had a similar issue? I searched but couldn't find any applicable information.
Thanks in advance,Barry

the lag could be from the launcher and its eating the cpu and thus when typing its slow to respond to the touches, have you tried it with the stock launcher?

Hi Richy. Yeah I booted into safe mode and the same occurs. I thought it was the launcher or a third party app but in safe mode if I repeatedly tap the home key for 10 times the vibration disappears. Really has me confused, I don't see how it could be hardware when the motor actually does work when it wants to?

I have EXACTLY the same problem. It is super irritating and I have the feeling too that it's a software problem. Maybe something that the previous software update is causing. It even just happened when I typed this. Maybe someone has a clue?

[SOLVED]Weird black screen happening

Hi guys. Im gonna tell about a problem which does not occur in many apps. In my opinion it happens when i open an app that neeeds graphic card but not for sure. Here is the problem.
Ex. When i open a game or youtube video nothing is wrong if screen faces up. Nothing at all. When i tilt the screen down it blacks out even sound goes off ( phone is on) and then i tilt phone back up everything goes on working. It only happens in these kind of apps. Any ideas ?
-----------
I solved the problem by uninstaling updates from samsung's game tool/game mode app from aplication manager.

Keyboard problem after upgade to Oreo

Hello,
I have upgraded to Oreo MHA-L29 8.0.0.370(C185) a few days ago and since I upgraded I am having problems with the virtual keyboard. It seems that randomly the keyboard stays drawn on the screen over the active application.
Sometimes, the keyboard disappears partially and some of it still shows!
The application behind it appears to be still active even behind the keyboard.
The keyboard will not disappear unless I leave the app and go back to it.
Anyone experiencing this problem? Any fix for it?
Thanks
