Works fine, it's what I use. The only thing that didn't work is xposed framework

Xposed framework (I think) would use more battery...
I'm so excited.

Xposed framework will not and probably will never work with ART. So make sure it's properly uninstalled before switching if you had it

Can't change to ART on stock rooted

Whenever I change my compiler from dalvik to ART in developer settings, it just reboots but doesn't actually change. Any suggestions on what I could have done/how to fix it? Thank you!

Are you on a deodexed ROM?
Edit: never mind what I said below, as it is incorrect... I must have misunderstood. Sorry for any confusion.
You can't use ART on the stock Verizon rom. They didn't include the runtime - or at least that is what someone reported right after the phone came out.

Any ideas why it isn't sticking on my device?
Some background: I do use xposed, I accidentally flashed the advanced power menu mod on stock, but it didn't seem to do anything so I've left it for now, and I've deleted some bloat verizon apps with root explorer.
Thanks!

No , but I have deleted a few bloat apps with their .odex. files, if that is even the same thing.

Not technically deodexed but it's no longer an odex ROM thus you break the function..

How can I go about fixing this? Do I need to keep all of the installed apps? Does it check for all of the original system apps?

you need to be 100% odexed.
When I've tried ART in my other devices (note 3, LG G2) it really seemed like a waste of time. Wasn't noticeably faster, and broke things.

Any chance you are running xposed as well? ART and Xposed will not work together. Xposed will disable the ART option on boot if you don't disable Xposed first.

Network Meter

Hi to all...
The only thing that I'm missing from Custom ROMs is Network Meter... How can I add it to 4.4.2 stock ROM?
Thank you for your answers...
You can try "Float Network Monitor" https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=sd.floatview
I'm using this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.internet.speed.meter.lite
And it's perfect.
Thanks... I will try your suggestions...

XPOSED Framework

Now that it looks like we have root we can try to use wanam xposed files to try to install the frameworks as its built for the s6 and other 64 bit processors. For those who want to try go here and make sure to hit the thanks.

Not Xposed on Samsung ROMs because of how they implemented some things in ART and the .oat files.

If wanam, the guy that works on unofficial Xposed for Samsung 5.1.1 devices says that it has to be deodexed to work, then that's the case. So there's no way you're successfully running Xposed on an odexed ROM, nice try.

Favorite Xposed Modules

Now that we can use Xposed, what are your favorite modules? Here's what I've got so far (it's a pretty weak list):
Greenify
Gravity Box
XPrivacy
I've got APM+ and GravityBox so far

You need it for some experimental features.
Amplify
Gravity Box
Snapprefs
There's some other ones I loved but I haven't used Xposed ever since my Nexus 6 got 5.1 months and months ago.
I have the same as OP set up. Unfortunately Power Nap seems to not like the Moto X. I'm hoping that it gets updated and works.
Which file do I flash to get Xposed working? Can someone please let me know which one cause there are so many?
Thanks!

You'll want the SDK22 ARM64 one. Flash that with TWRO and then install the apk.

Yeah it definitely helps. I don't think it's a gigantic improvement but it makes a noticeable difference. Even if it's only a few extra hours in standby or a few minutes more of screen on time it's worth it.
I'm at work and can't remember all of my favs, but crappalinks is one of my favorites now... Removes redirects from websites, so if I click on a link I can open it directly now.
APM+ is also great. Used to use gravity box but may not need it now.

gravitybox is a module

Well, I've added to my list. MinMinGuard, Snapprefs, and Xposed GEL Settings (It seems like about half of the options in this module actually work...once its fully working, I shouldn't need Gravity Box anymore)

And how about the App Settings module! I have the one supposedly for 5.1.1, but I keep changing the font size in apps but I don't think I'm seeing any difference. Has this module not worked on Lollipop?
