[Q] samsung galaxy mini rooting problems

Whenever i try to root my samsung galaxy mini, (gt-s5570) an error occurs.
When I try to root it with z4root, it stops without responding
when i try to root it with Universal Androot, it says something like this:"fu --- no --
and when I try to root it with SuperOneClick, it also stops without responding.
and yeah, i have installed kies, but i think there is something wrong with it too
How to root samsung galaxy mini??
1. Install drivers.
2. enable usb debug. It's in settings/application/development.
3. Fire superoneclick 1.7 and click root.
4. Attach your device when it says 'waiting for device'
5. Wait for it to do everything.
6. Reboot your phone.
Done
I had the same problem and now it works. Thanks!
do i need to leave it on when connecting, turn it off or power it up in download mode?
Just keep it on as normal, no download mode required as it won't work with the download mode.
but how to install drivers?
Install the "kies" software from samsung
z4 root failed, superoneclick worked for me

You might try gingerbreak. It is easy and works on a number of phones. However, I just saw the new intro on gingerbreak.
Gingerbreak is an exploit that has been fixed in many of the latest Android versions and releases.

[Q] Bootloader help, and phone not appearing on PC

I rooted my device (ATT HTC One XL), but now I can't seem to be able to find it in my device manager. When I plugged it in to root it using this method, it appeared just fine. However, now that it's rooted (used root checker to make sure), it isn't appearing on my computer. USB debugging is on, and I've tried multiple USB ports and PC connection types (currently using charge-only). What am I doing wrong? I also can't seem to be able to find USB connection mode options in the notification pull-down. The phone is, however, charging, and the LED light is green.
I am also trying to unlock bootloader using these instructions, but I can't find the "Unlock-Bootloader.bat" file mentioned. I'm assuming they meant the "Spoof-CID.bat" file, which I ran, but it gets stuck at "Restarting ADB."
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, I'm running 4.0.3 and 1.85. Irrelevant, but will upgrading to 4.1 or 4.0.4 conflict with root/bootloader, and how would I achieve this upgrade?
Do not upgrade to 4.0.4 before unlocking and getting g superCID. You probably need an updated driver just download it from htcdev and retry

I can't seem to find the appropriate drivers on htcdev.com. I also tried to download the drivers here*, however since device manager doesn't recognize my phone, I can't install the drivers manually.
*since I'm too green to post links, here:
http : // onexroot . com /one-x-root/root-any-htc-one-x-windowsmaclinuxattinternationalone-click-method/
Bumping the thread, I want to be able to figure out the solution to be able to interact between my phone and PC, such as copying files over and the like.

[Q] LG mobile doesnt recognize my device

Hello, i wanted to root my P500, and someone told me i must install drivers, but the LG mobile support tool doesn't recognize my device when i connect it, any advices?
There are many guides on rooting in general section. Read carefully about rooting, basebands and recovery.. these are the most essential things.
Install new usb drivers.. you can find it on lg website. Restart PC. Check the option.. Usb debugging in phone.

[Q] xperia pro not getting rooted

I am using Sony Xperia Pro (Mk16a) with Android 4.0.4 (4.1.B.0.587). I have unlocked the bootloader. But I am unable to root my phone. I have searched all the way and tried almost every method but I couldn't succeed. I downgraded android from ICS to GB (android 2.3). I tried using flashtool and flashing it with "MT11i_4.1.A.0.562_kernel.ftf" and the using "doomlord_v1_xperia-2011-ics-root-emu-busybox-su" and also tried to use "DooMLoRD_v4_ROOT-zergRush-busybox-su_2". I tried also with superoneclick v2.3.3 and "rootmk16". I have backed up my original firmware from SUS. Firstly I was getting error "adb server out of date. killing. daemon not starting". Somehow, I managed to fix it but even though I can't root my phone. I am attaching files which shows the error. While following the method as said on "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1286885" and also on "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1865796". In the prcoess after flasing the kernel MT11i_4.1.A.0.562, I cannot boot my phone to follow the steps. So I have to flash it again to original firmware. I have USB debugging mode on, unkown sources checked and connectivity set to MSC mode. Please help me to root it.

How to root LG L50 Sporty (a.k.a LG D213c)

So this is my first post on XDA, due to the lack of information on this particular device. Here I'll try to explain how I managed to root this device after trying several methods available here and all over the web. First I'll explain what didn't work:
VROOT (*)
Framaroot
Motochopper
SRS Root
MTK Toolkit
Nearly every solution on the web
After trying every method above, I noticed none of them were working. They all were giving false positives. No ROOT at all. I was kinda frustrated, 'cause I had followed every instruction possible, without success. I double checked my PC drivers, and I noticed something odd: Every time I changed the USB connection type on the L50, Windows installed different drivers for the device. I'm saying this was odd because I installed the drivers from LG drivers pack, so I was a bit confused. So, after Windows Installed the drivers for MTP, Modem, PTP and LG mode, I tried VROOT and... VOILÁ! I had ROOT:laugh::laugh:
So here are the steps I followed, and the tools I used:
Download VROOT (a.k.a. as IRoot) from w w w. mgyun. c o m / en / getvroot (without spaces)
Enable DEBUG MODE (Surf the web if you don't know on how to do it).
Plug your device to your PC and wait until Windows Installs the drivers for the connection type.
Without unplugging the device, Change the USB connection type to the next one. Wait 'till windows finishes installation.
Repeat the previous step untill you finish with all connection types.
Check Device Manager for missing drivers. If you have some missing, repeat steps above.
Open VROOT/IROOT and plug your device to the PC. Follow on-screen instructions and wait.
ENJOY!
Now, I have to find a Custom Recovery that works with L50... so if you guys know where I can get one, I'll appreciate your help.
Your Thread will be moved to appropriate Section.
So I tried to make a recovery for this phone, but it cannot boot. It says boot certification error, and the phone reboots normally.
So is it possible that the bootloader is locked? I want recovery for this phone too.
someone know how i can do a nandroid backup on LG L50 ?
Thank you so much. Worked on D213AR
Can you confirm if there is a way to unlock NFC hidden option on my phone?

If you managed to get Root (with the steps described on the OP) You can use Titanium Backup.
