Hi All,
I'm using a sony xperia sola MT27i.
When i try to update it with a custom rom i found that Bootloader unlock allowed is set to No.
I have tried everywhere on searching a solution for this, but was unable.
Is any one of you have a idea to make Bootloader unlock allowed status to Yes.
Thanks.

Hi
All
I have got a very quick question to ask and hope somebody can help me. I have got an Xperia play R800i. I used a program called SuperOneClick to root my phone. After using this program I got superuser access so that means my phone is rooted. But how do i unlock the bootloader.
Because according to the sony erricsson website when i type in that code *#*#7378423#*#* into my phone it says that i can not unlock my bootloader. I dont understand if i have rooted my phone my bootloader should be unlock write. Please correct me if i am wrong.
Also do i need an unlocked bootloader to install CyanogenMod 7 on my phone even if i have rooted it.
Many
Thanks
Mohammed
Anybody Please ?
Hi all, I'm trying to unlock my Xperia Neo V's bootloader, and I read it is necessary to fastboot it. The thing is my Xperia is SIM locked, and fastboot doesn't work. If I SIM unlock it using Omnius, will fastboot work?
Thanks in advance.
Bump. Let's see if someone can help.
Hi, I've the same problem.
I have a Xperia Neo V and my bootloader it's locked. I've tried all the things on the world (i hope not) and i don't see a viable solution.
If you want to know if your terminal can be unlocked by normal mode, search "unlock bootloader sony ericsson" on google and go to the sony ericsson page. This will guide you to know if your terminal can be unlocked.
Im searching another way to unlock bootloader but i think it will be a simple hardware modification.
For people like me who can't unlock their bootloader on the Sony Xperia S because the bootloader unlock option is set to no i.e. the official method below shows no:-
Open the dialer from your device and dial “*#*#7378423#*#*”.
Then, go to “Service info -> Configuration -> Rooting Status”. If the “Bootloader unlock allowed” option is there is perfect and you can complete the operation. If not, or if the status is missing, your device cannot be unlocked.
Is there another way to unlock the bootloader at all?
I realise this will invalidate any warranty but would really like to flash cyanogenmod 9.1 onto it as its so much faster and usable than the stock rom.
Many thanks in advance
Also looking for a way around this... Although my nozomi is unlockable, it fails to unlock with every tool out there...

Same as that.. I thought I'd seen a paid unlocking service somewhere...
+1
I think
S2tool works but sure it's a paid service or try wotanclient
As for those who get a No in status, that's the only option!
For those whose status says Yes,you can unlock officially from Sony website
Sent from my MT11i using xda premium
No news on this?
I just got the lt30at and I want to unlock bootloader and root but I can't find anything in my 2 days of searching. Thanks for any help.
Hi,
I did research using uncle google but I can't find any good answer.
So the question is: Is possible to unlock boot loader with any other method than official sony web site?
I'm interested if it's even test point method because on my J "Bootloader unlock Status" says No.
Maybe I should flash something jet like simlock.sin?
Any ideas?
Phone was sim locked before but it is already (sim) unlocked by code, unfortunately status remain the same.
Can anyone help with that?
Thom

hey guys, I've noticed that almost all of you have the bootloader of your Sony Xperia E JB (C1505) unlocked.
Mine says not allowed, I just wanted to ask if you guys that have it unlocked, had the same ''status'' as mine, or if there is any way that I can unlock my bootloader...
I have my phone rooted but with the bootloader unlocked the possibilities are not comparable
I really wanted to change the rom, my kernel (to be able to overclok etc), but im afraid I can't to that
Please give me an answer

To unlock bootloader follow the instructions from Sony Mobile: developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader
I had to send my mobile to Sony service center to change the Rooting Status: Bootloader unlock allowed: No to Yes.
Good luck.
