Your link seemed like it was going to work but after I chose click here to download it took me to a web page unavailable. I'm using my vibrant but I don't see why that should make a difference.

My G1 running CM6 stable couldn't find it in the market, and when I downloaded and manually installed, it crashes at the title screen sad panda

I use AppBrain as that saves a set of currently installed programs. It however does not do very good searches *or it does and then adds in sponsored apps*. Are there others like this?

Yes it keeps a list of apparently that you have installed. It also has auto update and will periodically look and find the updates that may be available and install them or you can set to only notify you and ask permission to update...hope this helps

It's the standard market, just the update. Some phones weren't getting it updated so it was a good post so people could get it. It's pretty sweet.

Just like microsoft, google put out and update that was supposed to be an improvement but is just bulkier, and harder to work with.
i think its stupid, the market should be simple and basic, it doesnt need to be a cluster f*** like itunes.
but appearantly google doesnt feel this way and is heading down the path of cluster f***edness.
clean and simple google, clean and simple.

did you change your DPI? if its not set to 240 then the market will think your a tablet.

Its a third party app. It cant integrate with system apps unless implemented in a ROM. Thats why you dont have support for alarms, calendars etc

i didnt see it in the market because i was using a rom with a modem that is not official.
just changed the modem name to the latest official in build.prop
and there it is in the market again, along with a few app updates

Interesting little app that I found by accident on the market while looking for apps late one night. As i downloaded the app I did notice it had some crazy permissions "system_alert_window,read_phone_state,access_coarse_location" which I denied with lucky patcher. Just a heads up to anyone who download's the app to do hahaha. Now to the app in a nutshell its a easy way to find and download classic games really nice looking UI too, so far I've seen Super Mario Bros., Final Fight, Mega Man and my favorite metal slug 2 just to name a few. They claim its over 1000+ games but I don't think so, but theres variety. This app is more so for people who just want to play now without all the hassle because it pretty much does it all for you, just find a game, then download it and play nothing else is needed. Also for my Xperia Play Fam!!!! :good: When you start up a game just map the buttons really easy, then tap the semi clear keyboard on your in-game screen to hide the onscreen keyboards then your set. Enjoy!

this was posted like a month ago.
and the thread was... uh.. Deleted. i don't know why but i became suspiscious i uninstalled the app

I downloaded this app some week ago and it's just amazing!! I can play Street Fighter 2, R-Type, Metal Slug, Riden, and so much other old games!! The server ia unbelievable fast for download and the list of games availables is constantly updating, this app is simply all that what you need if you love gaming and don't like to wait a download of massive sd card data.
Just install the Happy Bay, search for your favorite gamr, download it and that's it! All in less than 5minutes!!! The pad is so easy to configure, the app is simply awesome!!:good:

I wonder how long it will take for google to gank this off the play store, since its essentially a ROM distribution platform with built in emulators.

Who knows cause its all free but if it does the developer of the app has a site for the .apk

Tried it out, I like it but do not love it, simply because there is is some lag and sound stuttering. I know I should`nt have really high expectations, but personally I would prefer a proper emulator on my phone and know I`m getting the best my phone can provide me.

I've tried a few emulators and this seems like a good way of getting games in one easy-to-choose/play place. I just hope it's safe.

to remove the onscreen keyboard, is easy just keep tapping the little keyboard on your ingame screen its on the upper right side .

Thats cool but
1) Glu have something agaist Sony and no Glu game after hells bells Version 1.0.0 have been listed supported for any Xperia we own (our site), including the Xperia Play
2) Avengers Initiative is only for ICS and up and mostly only for Tegra 2-3 (Have tried this on an Asus Transformer and is broke. Crashes before you can play check out the market comments hardly anyone has got it working).
3) Captain America is very old (came out when the play first came out). I think back in the day it was Xperia Play Optimized but no longer is.

He's posting games to make people aware of them. The game would be awesome if it could get optimized, in that case, if it has more Xperia Play supporters, then the developer might be keen to actually optimize it. If only one Xperia Play users is asking for this feature, chances are, the developer won't do anything about it. And if that's not the reason, maybe he just really likes the game and wants to share it with the community, is that so bad? Who cares if it's not optimized, if it's a good game, I'd like to know about it.
