I am going to write you some simple steps to install CWM 6.0.3.4 / TWRP 2.5.0.0 recovery on your Lenovo A850.
I will be very detailed, advanced users should skip the boring stuff
This guide was writed based on this thread. A similar guide can be found at this thread. Look there for more info.
You will need:
- Rooted Lenovo A850 (simple guide here, not tested)
- Mobileuncle MTK Tools (GooglePlay)
- Recovery Image for A850 (CWM or TWRP)
BEFORE GOING ON, MIND THAT I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY IF ANYTHING HAPPENS ON YOUR PHONE.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!
INSTUCTIONS:
1. Download the recovery image:
First of all we need to find out what firmware version our phone has (ROW or CN).
I can see mine looking the Baseband version (located at Settings->About phone->Version Infos->Baseband version) which is "A850.ROW.v18", so i have a ROW firmware installed. I suppose it will say something like "A850.CN.vXX" if you have a CN filmware.
If you don't know which version you own, try one. If it is the wrong version, your phone will just not boot into the recovery. Reboot the phone and install an other version.
Now we can download the right recovery image version.
- For ROW firmware download this (Mirror 1 from source thread).
(This version of CWM never worked for me, scroll down at bugs)
- For CN firmware download this (Mirror 1 from source thread).
(Downloads include both CWM and TWRP recoveries)
After downloading, extract the content (use 7zip program). You will see 3 files, we will not need the "MT6582_Android_scatter.txt" file. You can delete it or keep it if you want to flash roms in the future.
2. Move the revovery image in you SD card:
Connect your phone on your PC and mount the SD card. Now move the recovery image you want in you phone's SD card:
- For TWRP is the "recovery_TWRP_2.5.0.0.img" file
- For CWM is the "recovery_z_CWM_v6.0.3.4.img" file
(You can delete the other one after that)
When the move finishes, disconnect the phone.
3. Install Mobileuncle MTK Tools:
Open GooglePlay on your phone, search for "Mobileuncle" and install Mobileuncle MTK Tools.
4. Install recovery: (IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING DO NOT PROCEED)
Open Mobileuncle MTK Tools. (You will be asked to give root permition to the app, select always yes)
Click on "Recovery Update" and the app will find the recovery image in your SD card. (in the first line, do not click any other recovery)
Click on the recovery image you selected (recovery_TWRP_2.5.0.0.img or recovery_z_CWM_v6.0.3.4.img), click OK to install recovery... wait some seconds, and then click OK to reboot into recovery.
Done! You are in the recovery
(If the phone reboots and then shutdown, the recovery.img didn't work. Try an other version.)
How to get into recovery: (2 simple ways)
- Power of your phone. Wait some second. Press the power button and bot h volume keys and not let them go until the logo appears (the phone will also vibrate). It takes up to 7 seconds to open, keep pressing the buttons until the vibration.
- With Mobileuncle MTK Tools, open it and click on "Into Recovery Mode".
Keys:
- CWM: Use volume keys and the power button to move around
- TWRP: Touch the screen, swipe etc.
Credits:
- linerty (from the Russian lenovo forum)
Bugs:
- I got an error will trying to backup (CWM ROW version), "can't mount data" . If you face this problem, better install this CWM version. It worked for me
I cant download the cwm recovery image files from given mirror. Please attach another link for the download of files.. i wish to install cwm on my a850... i have a ROW a850... and will this cwm get rid of my chinese stock recovery.. the reason why i want to install cwm is because i cant understand chinese.. thank you in advance... hope you can help me.. thanks...

I do not want to mirror the files since they are not my work. The links work fine, try again please
If you can't, try this file (ROW version ONLY). It is a different version, i have tested it, this is the version i am currently using. I do not remember who made it but his name is written in the recovery. Use at your own risk! I take no responsibility!
What will possibly happen when something goes wrong about installing cwm on my phone?.. will this get rid of my chinese stock recovery?... thanks again...

Yes it should get rid of the chinese recovery.
If something goes wrong you will probably have to install a new recovery again, nothing special, but when you mess with your phone i do not know what you may click on. I do not know how experienced each user is, somebody can delete the whole rom of his phone clicking a wrong button... and i do not want him to come back and say "you did that".
thanks sir.. i've followed all your instructions.. i have installed TWRP on my a850 successfully... However the CWM does not work... CWM was the first recovery i tried because im much familiar with it but when i enter recovery mode, TWRP is the one installed... But still, i got a new recovery which i understand... Thank you very much sir and more power to you... If you have other mods for lenovo a850, can you please share it here... Thanks Again...
Thanks for your Tutorial, I have replaced stock recovery with TWRP successfully.
Do you have any custome ROM that can be flashed into this Lenovo A850 by using TWRP ?
I used TWRP to flash the ROM from this site xiaomi.eu/community/threads/4-2-14.23544/ , but failed (stuck at Lenovo logo at boot).

Even though i use CWM, the bootlogo stuck for me was not caused by the recovery.
I had the same problem. You must first install the s121 rom.
WARNING after the install you will not be able to get back just with a CWM, TWRP restore. (i believe you will have to flash the stock rom again to do so)
If you want to proceed, follow this video.
(when you click Firmware Update, wait 2-3 seconds and connect your phone WITH battery closed, that is what i couldn't do)
hi, what is my version ?
thx

Just installed the CWM finally, yup it is in Eng and the most important part is wiping out the chinese language. thanks
I have to agree, sending to recovery terminal by using the hardware key power button + vol up/down key is just too difficult to do so, most of the time sent me to meta or factory mode. Mobileuncle tool works but what I am most preferred by using the button in case the ROM inaccessible and I am unable to reach mobileuncle to do the restoration.

Unbrick theory...
trying the one touch upgrade utility. it wipes all data in phone and installs a fresh and latest ROM for the device. i guess this will also fix a bricked device somehow.
after this i will try to root it again using MTK tools and ap flash tools with a different idea in my mind... hope it works this time...
[EDIT] UNBRICK METHOD CONFIRMED WORKING!!!
One touch Upgrade
Hello there I'm a total noob in rooting and unlocking bootloads. I just got the same phone as my first android phone and wondered how to root it and I end up here. Now I'm asking how did you get the one touch upgrade software. I've searched the whole alcatel website but I keep getting on the FAQ page. Would you be so kind to put up the link for the software because I kinda bricked my phone here. I was also wondering what speed did you use during your Bin4ry script root attempt? Normal or Special? Keep doing a good job. Thanks for having the time to look for ways to root this phone.

I tried the normal mode as Bin4ry said that the others might brick the phone it it wasn't the right model. did you brick it using the srcipt? any way. still trying to root it and finding help from rua1 that has a great knowledge in MTK phones...
here's the link of the upgrade utiliuty... just install it and choose alcatel 4030 (if your phone is s'pop) then power of the phone remove the battery and follow the instructions on PC and wait till it says plug the phone while powered off.. plug the usb (without battery) then wait for it to detect the device. when it loads, put the battery back and wait for it to download the firmware.. it will take hours to download it.. it's about 2+gigs... good luck on unbricking.. hope it works...
Phone unbricked
Many thanks for the software. My phone is now back to stock rom. for the Bin4ry I also tried Normal because I thought it was for tabs only. So MTK is the only course of action? Any news on fixing the 2 point horizontal bug? and the alcatel FAQ says there's this TCL calibration that you can activate to you know "calibrate" the touch screen. Do you also get the problem where in the stock alarm app alarms but you can't dismiss it ( I set it to crazy mode ) where you need to press 3 buttons to dismiss but still won't stop I really need to pull the battery out. Help please Thanks in advance.

Great. So my theory really worked. Glad you unbricked it. I'm getting closer to rooting it. Just having problems flashing the cwm. Ones I managed to flash it, rooting may be successful. I use Mtk tools and flash tools and get help from rua1. Didn't use my alarm before so i'm not sure about the bug. Maybe you don't have to set it in crazy mode..
I tried to set the alarm in crazy mode and everything works fine. Just dismiss, unlock, and tap the three buttons with numbers and your done..
Rooted, finally!!
I finally rooted the alcatel spop. I will make a guide maybe later how I did it...

Disclaimer: Your warranty is now void. You do this in your own risk. I do not take any responsibility to your device. This will definitely brick your device which is normal but follow the right instructions to make it work again.
Credits: This is tuts would not be possible without the help from the creator of MTKdroid tools, rua1 from XDA Developers. Thank the guy for his wonderful tool. If you wanna know how I did it, go to his thread right here. I also wanna acknowledge The Solutor and rimmon1971's efforts for porting the TWRP to our device. You can find The Solutor's work here.
Requirements:
1. A windows based PC
2. MTK Droid Root & Tools & SP Flash Tool
3. Universal ADB driver
4. One Touch Upgrade S
5. Root script
6. Patience
7. Most important! Use your brain!
Important!
To make this work without errors, don't use other drivers available in the web. Just install One Touch Upgrade S first. It will install the USB VCOM preloader driver. It will be needed by the SPFT to detect the phone. Use the provided ADB driver for the MT65xx_android_phone. If ever you get stucked in an error and your device wont boot anymore, just use One Touch Upgrade and your phone will be as good as new...
Guide: CWM/TWRP recovery
1. Download MTK Droid Root & Tools & SP Flash Tools, ADB Drivers, One Touch Upgrade S, and the Root script. Extract them anywhere in your computer.
2.Install ADB driver. This step is now optional to get adb working. You can now skip to step 5 if you just want to get rooted with CWM/TWRP recovery installed.. In your phone, go to Settings>Development. Set to on and check USB debugging.

3. Connect device to PC. Driver will fail to install (thats normal). Install UniversalAdbDriverSetup6.msi
Note: in Windows 8, this will pop-up. do this:
4. After installing the Universal ADB driver, go to device manager of your computer. Follow the images as descirbed.
ADB commands should work now (if you have ADB installed) and you won't have any problems about MTK droid tool not detecting phone.
5. Be sure that you have already installed One Touch Upgrade S before this step. Open SP Flash tool and select the scatter file by clicking on the Scatter-loading button.
6. UNCHECK BOOT and leave RECOVERY checked. Disregard what is on the photo. There's are reports that the latest firmwares are incompatible with the uploaded patched boot.img.
Note: By default, the CWM recovery will be selected in the SP Flash tool. If you want the fully working TWRP-recovery (I recomment this because CWM recovery is not fully functional), just click RECOVERY and replace it with this file.
7. Click Download button. Click yes on the download warning. Turn off phone, remove battery and connect the phone (without battery) and wait until SP Flash tool detects the phone and watch as it flash the image.
8. If everything passes without errors, unplug the phone, reinsert battery and boot to recovery by pressing power + volume up.
9. You should boot in CWM/TWRP recovery. We are ready to flash the Superuser app to gain root.
Guide: Superuser
You can use mtk droid root and tools here. Just plug in phone to pc while still in CWM recovery. Run mtk tools, wait to detect phone, click superuser, then build.prop, then delete china. Your done. Or use the guide below if you have problems with it.
Using CWM recovery to flash superSU
1. While still on CWM recovery, plug the phone into PC again.
2. Navigate using volume up and down buttons. Press Power button to select and Back soft key to go back.
3. Select mounts and storage>mount USB storage.
4. Copy the root-glory-2-4030E.zip to your sdcard.
5. After copying, select unmount and go back.
6. Select install zip from sdcard>choose zip from sdcard>root-glory-2-4030E.zip and select yes - Install root-glory-2-4030E.zip
7. It will flash the app to the system including all needed binaries. I also included the fix-permissions banary which is missing from the ROM.
8. Reboot the phone and wait. It will boot normally and no data will be lost. You will see superuser app in your app drawer. You are now rooted!
Using TWRP recovery to flash superSU
1. While still on TWRP recovery,Connect the device to PC.
2. Tap mount in the screen then Mount USB storage.
3. Copy the root-glory-2-4030E.zip to your sdcard.
4. Press back on your device softkeys.
5. Tap install and select root-glory-2-4030E.zip
6. Wipe to confirm flash.
7. Reboot>System.
8 You're done.

boot_logo changed!
tried to change the boot logo and it worked! thanks to balamu96m for his guide.
This is my new boot logo
bootanimation problem!
I changed my bootanimation and tried if it works using these commands which i normally do with my past android devices.
Code:
adb shell bootanimation
the animation works fine but when i hit:
Code:
adb reboot
the animation showed was just android mask or android shine which shows when you don't have bootanimation.zip inside /data/local or /system/media. it's like a default bootanimation.
so once I booted, I tried again
Code:
adb shell bootanimation
the bootanimation works but when I reboot, it's back to default.
I tried replacing back the original bootanimation.zip but it still the defaut bootanimation. It's very weird. I haven't encountered this before...

Found out the cause of this issue. The stock ROM has no fix_permissions binary. So I pushed the binary and tried to fix perm again and now custom bootanimation.zip works!

Try making recovery.img and boot.img backup through SP-FlashTool, then use MtkDroidTool to patch both imgs.
1: Open MtkDroidTool, connect your phone, click on Blocks Map button.
2: Write down 9th and 10th (9th=bootimg, 10th=recovery) row's Scatter and Size and click on Create scatter file button.
3: Open SPFT, click on Scatter-loading button and select that scatter file.
4: Click on Read Back tab, then click on Add button, then double-click on added item in listbox.
5: Set filename to boot.img, then change Start address to 0x(9th-row's-scatter/bootimg's-scatter) and Length to 0x(9th-row's-size/bootimg's-size).
6: Repeat 4th step, but this time set filename to recovery.img, then change Start address and Length as recovery's scatter and recovery's size.
7: Unplug phone from PC and remove and re-insert battery in phone (don't start phone)
8: Click on Read back button in SPFT, then plug in usb in phone.
9: After read back is done, take out cable then open MtkDroidTool, then select root, backup, recovery tab.
10: Tick To choose the boot.img file and click Recovery and Boot button, then select boot.img and recovery.img.
11: Copy scatter file and open MtkDroidTools folder, go to recovery and paste it there, then rename *_boot_patched_*.img and *_recovery_patched_*.img to boot.img and recovery.img.
12: Open SPFT and then select scatter file in recovery folder and flash boot and recovery.

Hello,
First thing is your phone is Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9502)
Second YELLOW light indicates that your phone is ROOTED but not permitted to MTKDroidTools.
'to use from phone' and 'backup' options only available when you grant permissions to MtkDroidTools by clicking on ROOT button (at bottom-right)
first use Backup to backup data from phone, then 'to use from phone' will be available for use.
or read this if ROOT button works:

if ROOT button doesn't work then read this:

Try going to recovery mode, if you are able to go in recovery mode, then there's ok.
other wise boot should be bricked, you have to find backup or flash files (or only boot.img) for your device!
Will It Really Work

Hello..
As the title says this thread is a guide about how to install TWRP on your galaxy core prime VE (G361H).
**I didn't create/build this recovery**
##DISCLAIMER: I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE THAT HAPPENS TO YOU OR TO YOUR PHONE##
#BEFORE you start, go and enable "allow OEM unlock" from development settings..
There is 2 methods to install TWRP, the first one is for rooted users, the second one is for unrooted users (users who want to root their phone using TWRP)
so lets start:
☆METHOD 1 (without ODIN){for rooted users}
1- download the recovery from the link at the end of the thread.
2-download "rashr" from play store, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mkrtchyan.recoverytools.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
2- open rashr and select "recovery from storage".
3- choose the recovery file that you downloaded.
4- confirm to flash the recovery.
5- after flash is successful press "no" and don't press "reboot to recovery" (for saftey use the three button combo).
6- power off your phone, then reboot to recovery by pressing {home button+volume up+power}, once the screen turns on release the power button, and when you see the SeAndroid error at the top release all the buttons.
7- now you have TWRP recovery on your Core Prime VE G361H, so enjoy.
☆METHOD 2 (using ODIN){for non rooted}
*note: this method doesn't need root*
1- download the ODIN flashable recovery.
2- open ODIN as administrator.
3- select AP and choose the recovery file that you downloaded.
4- uncheck "auto reboot".
5- enter download mode using the three buttons combo (home + vol down+ power).
6- connect your phone to your PC.
7- press "start".
8- when you get "pass", unplug from PC and remove the battery.
9- insert the battery and boot into recovery using the three button combo (home+vol up+power).
5- now you have TWRP recovery on your Core Prime VE G361H, so enjoy.
☆Changing the language to English.
in case the recovery opened in russian launguage follow these steps to make it english:
1- the recovery will boot up in Russian language, you'll find a slider at the bottom of the page, slide it.
2- the TWRP recovery interface will show up but in Russian language, so to change it to English select the right option on the third row.
3- TWRP settings will show up, go and choose the last icon on the right side (which shows an earth icon).
4- swipe up and choose english and press the only button on screen to apply the language.
5- now you have TWRP recovery in english on your Core Prime VE G361H, so enjoy.

Why did apps become incredibly slow after flashing TWRP, and what do I do about it? Wiping dalvik did not help. Seems often when I root or flash recoveries it slows down my device, was the same thing on S3.

Recovery isn't related to the system as it's installed on a separate partition, i (since 2010) haven't faced any kind of slowness after flashing a recovery till today, so there must be another reason for this slowness but not the recovery.

Yes I've heard that before, but still in my experience, almost without fail, the slowness begins after one of these two operations. The whole OS is laggy now.

How to install a custom recovery image and root access on MediaTek based UMI smartphones without loosing your data
This is a general solution for all MTK UMI phones, so you won't find all needed resources (ROM packages) here

This tutorial will guide you through the process of installing a custom recovery image on your MediaTek based UMI smartphone and then get root access (if needed) with the assistance of the custom recovery.
Please note:
- Custom recovery images of different Android versions are not always interchangeable. For example, you can't install an Android 5.0 recovery on a 4.4 system and so on.
- At most of the devices, after flashing the TWRP image, first you have to boot into recovery (TWRP) or the stock recovery will be restored.
- At some devices, after flashing TWRP, first you have to root your phone (install SuperSU) or it won't be able to boot into the system.
- Once you've rooted your device, you won't be able to install OTA updates anymore but the only way to update your phone is flashing with SP Flash Tool. Flashing a stock ROM (with the stock recovery) will make you able to install OTA updates again.
- At some devices (or specific ROM versions), when powering on your phone to boot into TWRP (power + vol-up), after about 3 seconds, you have to release the power button (even if your screen is still black) and keep only the vol-up button pressed until the TWRP welcome screen pops up or the recovery will be skipped and your phone will boot into the system.
What you need:
Driver for Preloader USB VCOM mode: Windows 10 already can automatically install it or you can use this: MTK_Driver_Auto_Installer_SP_Drivers_20160804.exe
SP Flash Tool application: SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1712.rar
An SPFT ROM package for your specific device, that you can download in UMi's ROM section.
A custom recovery image that fits your phone:
UMI Zero: UMI_ZERO_TWRP_2.8.2_recovery.img
UMI eMAX: TWRP_2.8.1.0_UMI_EMAX_4.4.4_284X_v2_recovery.img for Android 4.4 or UMI_eMAX_TWRP2.8.7.0_lollipop.img for Android 5.x.
UMI Hammer: UMI_Hammer_TWRP_2.8.7_recovery.img
UMI Hammer S: HammerS_TWRP_2.8.7.3.img (not tested on real device)
UMI Fair: CWM_Umi_Fair.img (created by megthebest)
UMI Iron: UMI_Iron_TWRP_2.8.7_recovery.img
UMI Iron Pro: UMI_Iron_Pro_TWRP-2.8.70_recovery.img (created by megthebest)
UMI Rome: TWRP_2.8.7_Umi_Rome.img (created by megthebest)
UMI Rome X: TWRP3.0.0RomeX.img (created by megthebest)

UMI Plus E: PlusE_TWRP_303_V3.01_20170112.img (created by jemmini)
UMI Z and Z Pro: TWRP_303_UMI_Z.V3.01_20170116.img (created by jemmini)
UMIDIGI C Note: C_Note_TWRP-3.1.1-0_NoTouch.img (created by joe2k01) - no touch screen support, you can control it with an OTG mouse (use a wireless one)
Newer models will be added later.
Super SU installation package: SuperSU-v2.82-201705271822.zip or you can find the latest versions HERE
Now I'm going to guide you through the whole process, using a UMI Touch and TWRP recovery.
You can use the same method on other models but the UI and some features of the CWM recovery are different.
Charge the battery of your phone to at least 50% and turn it off before starting this process.
1. Install the MTK_Driver_Auto_Installer_SP_Drivers_20160804.exe driver (if your system cannot download and install the drivers automatically).
2. Extract the SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1712.rar file and run flash_tool.exe.
3. Extract the content of the ROM archive, that you downloaded for your specific phone in the ROM section.*
*Beside the recovery image file, just only a compatible scatter file is mostly enough for this process but not always without editing it. So please strictly follow the instructions below and use a full ROM package together with the scatter file inside its folder. Don't use a such setup where not all partitions are loaded.
4. Open the scatter file, that you can find in the ROM folder.
5. Leave only the recovery line checked, then double click on its Location field and brows for your device specific custom recovery image file, that you can find in the list above.
6. Click on the Download button and connect your phone to a USB port of your computer. The flashing process will start automatically and it needs just a few seconds.*
*At some models you have to press one of the volume buttons while connecting to USB but most of them don't need it and you mustn't press any of the buttons.
7. Now the custom recovery has been flashed. You may remove the USB cable. You can boot your phone into recovery by powering it on while pressing the volume up button. After your phone is powered on, release the power key but still keep the vol-up button pressed until the TWRP boot screen pops up.
At some models this action starts the bootloader mode and you can boot into recovery from its menu. In such menus you can navigate with the vol-up button and select an item with the vol-down button.
*At some models you HAVE TO boot your phone into recovery at the first power on that follows the TWRP flashing or the original stock recovery will be restored by the system. So that's always better to start with booting into recovery after the flashing process finished.
Root your phone by SuperSU with TWRP
Step 1.
Boot your phone into recovery and connect it to a USB port of that computer, where you store the downloaded SuperSU installation zip file. Copy that file to the Internal storage of your phone. After finished, you may remove the USB cable.
Step 2.
Select Install - Before you process the further steps, I suggest you to make a backup of your Data and Nvram partition or the whole system.
Step 3.
Select the Internal Storage, then brows for the SuperSU .zip file.
Step 4.
On the next screen don't check any of the options, just swipe right the bottom slider to start the installation process.
Wait until the installation finishes. It needs just a few seconds, not a long time.
Step 5.
Click on Wipe cache/dalvik (swipe right), then Reboot System.
Warning! Don't wipe the cache if you use a not fully compatible TWRP image (such ported ones without touch screen support and with other bugs), just select Reboot System or your action may drive to a boot loop.
Step 6.
Wait until your system boots up. Now your phone has root access. You can check your status with Root Checker.
All the screenshots are captured and the guide is written by me for UMI users. Unauthorized copy of this content is prohibited.
Please let me know if you find errors or missing info.
Thank you for your attention,
bencebacsi

The bootloader is factory unlocked at UMi Super but in accordance of rooting it doesn't make sense at MediaTek SoC based smartphones. If you have any kind of MTK phone, you don't have to unlock the bootloader for rooting.
Nice ! ! !

i built Twrp for Max... but touch not working for kernel issue.. so you must use OTG mouse with Type C adaptor to use TWRP.
if you need, i will share soon.. or we need to wait a fix from my friend jemmini..

Different kernel indeed and different touch screen.. I messed up touch trying to use kernel from Super.. Now touch screen is messed up/uncalibrated and is not fixable anymore (touch firmware seems to be corrupted by kernel)... So i need how to restore Max to his brand new config, because flashing rom or making an hard reset didn't help.. I'm in contact with jemmini, to understand if is possible to restore corrupted touch firmware...
If you have some advice or tool to fix goodix touch screen, i will be grateful...Thanks
P. S. Twrp of Super messed up Touch Screen, so don't use it on Max

Thank you for your information, it's very important and I'm sorry for your trouble.
I have the same issue with my MAX test device but I received it some weeks ago directly from UMi with an earlier ROM version, so I just thought, it's a pre-release, not the final version with a different touch panel. This case is very weird since the Super is perfectly compatible with the MAX ROM, even the touch screen as well. Actually the MAX V1.01_20160819 ROM is installed on my UMi Super test device and everything work fine. So, after completely formatting my MAX and installing the stock ROM again with SPFT, I didn't think the Super's TWRP recovery caused the issue. Now it's confirmed, so I'm continuing to find a solution.
Thank you again for your feedback.
So sorry to say this but this only method works in WINDOWS 7 and for Marshmallow ROM ONLY
Supported Devices: Oppo F3 Plus (CPH1613EX) & Oppo R9s Plus (CPH1611EX)

TWRP Recovery:
1. Download Drivers and install them (Disable Signed Driver Enforcement)
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1T6MTq1upNt_yxrPD9MfOHR8vTOzRisvs
2. Download Oppo R9s Plus/F3 Plus Marshmallow Firmware (CPH1611EX_11_A.16_180106) and Extract it using Winrar/7-zip into a seperate FOLDER
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xo-J5Pe65-fXyJbysVrAZYQ1mocfl53s/view
2.1 Also Download Oppo A57 Firmware and extract it anywhere you like
https://drive.google.com/uc?id=0B_0XnEjFCVsPWndzSnp2YTFYSkU&export=download
3. Download TWRP Recovery - Keep the recovery img in the same folder as of extracted firmware folder and make sure recovery file name is set to "recovery.img"
Twrp 3.1.1-0 (Latest) - Material Theme and Inbuilt Super SU Root available for easy rooting BUT Chinese language
Download and Extract only recovery.img and place it under firmware folder. u can delete other files.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gkNNx2Ik6oRF-juBDNIilDUu31w6_oI_/view?usp=sharing
To change the chinese language to english please download and flash this zip But in English language you will not get Super SU Root option to root the device from built-in twrp. you have to download SU zip now. So root directly from chinese language and then flash the english language zip to be on safe and easy side
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=817550096634752414
Twrp 3.1.0-0 (old) (RECOMMENDED) -
Normal appearance of twrp and no inbuilt SU (sometimes it prompts to install SU, if you decline once, it won't prompt again) and totally English language. Most importantly you can flash opposite OTA updates (ozip) via this twrp
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/qbobokagdgme2oa/AABQBtKTmbwChne9z1DaayHca?dl=0&preview=recovery.zip
4. Run the MsmDownloadTool from A57 Firmware folder and you will get Session Timeout error. just ignore it and close the software
4.1. Now run MsmDownloadTool from our F3 plus firmware folder and uncheck "Reset After Download"
5. Switch off ur Mobile and Hold Vol down + Vol Up simultaneously and Plug the usb to pc
5.1 After plugging to pc, open device manager and expand PORTS section and make sure the device is detected as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM xx)". if not you have drivers issues!
6. Press F5, uncheck all options except Recovery and double click on Recovery option and select the recovery.img from firmware folder.
7. press Start and Flashing will be success (Green color message). press stop and unplug the usb
8. Press and hold Vol Up and Power Button and release them when it vibrates. NOW IMMEDIATELY after seeing oppo logo AGAIN PRESS Vol up + Power button to Power Off your device to prevent booting!!!! (If you fail to turn off your device, mobile will boot and will auto restore the stock recovery. so you will have to re-flash the twrp again)
9. Now press Vol Down + Power button to Enter into TWRP

Thank you for the mention, honestly I just said a few details only. We need people like you to shed some light on these unloved phones. XDA community thanks you heartfully for your contribution.
The only thing I can say is : Go Forth, and plant the Nougat to the ground herewith. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . It's time for Nougat to be rooted.
Also just like to confirm that MSMDownloadTool works for Windows 10 too, as proved by this article and video : http://www.techzai.com/crack-msmdownload-tool/

Hi, i recently update my oppo F3 plus (CPH1613EX_11_A.18_180413 marshmallow), and i try to root it using this method, it's always boot on the stock recovery when i finish (i did step by step every single world you said).
I think that's a security renforcement about this version of colorOs, i wonder if there is a way ton downgrade to the last version without losing my data (lots of apps), because i did root it whit the version that i had once.
Thanks you
Re: So, i flashed my oppo with the msmtool that you put on your post (all images expect datauser partition), and changed the recovery image before the phone boots..... and it woorks perfectly now.
PS: dont upgrade to the version CPH1613EX_11_A.18_180413 if you want root your phone, it won't work.

No, i didn't ; in all case i didn't let the phone boot after passing the recovery.img.
Wich version of rom do you have please ?
EDIT: when i downgrade the rom, it worked perfectly
NB: after downgrading , the first time, the phone boot directly and it was the new version (wich causes me problems) that was on it, even when i had flashing all the system

2. I have upgraded to a.18 build via ota 65mb and root worked. Tested with my own hands
3. Caution: if you dont CHECK userpartition in msmtool, after reboot it asks for Android password to proceed and we don't know that password. It's a checkmate. You need to wipe everything to boot
4. If you have patience please flash Magical 16.0 and test it. For me Wi-Fi is not turning on after flashing magisk.
5. I suggest you to use the twrp 3.1.0. bcoz the latest 3.1.1 does not flash oppo ota (.ozip)
