Go into Android Development instead of T-Mobile Android Development. There's a lot of Roms in there that ate multi carrier compatible.

Flash the APN for Sprint. It works on all roms with data issues.

The P is Sprint version I believe, you'd be better off asking Here, in the Sprint forum
The ones on the Sprint forum are...try JellyBomb v4.0. It's in the test folder. Sock with many mods and themed. Imo, the best Rom

No you will need to run a TW rom as the keyboard needs their framework. This is just something you give up when you use custom roms.
