Hi,
today at the gym i broke my headphone 3.5mm plug.
Now it sticks inside of the 3.5mm jacket.
The problem, even if i remove the back, its so deep that i cant get to it
any idea how i can remove it?
Thank you!
i thought about putting some glue on a wood stick and put it on and try to remove, but i am not sure if this is a good solution

Kudos! Necessity is the mother of invention!
now let's try to get the headphone creator to send me new headphones, they where teufel which is not that cheap and only 4 months old
Why? You broke it
Sent from my Nexus 5 using xda app-developers app
Because there is warranty in Germany for things like that I in my point of view it was a faulty product

It looks much better then the stock one and it seems legit HTC store is offering them tho its out of stock atm
I see no holes for the speaker and other parts.
Yep no speaker hole is the main one. It's missing a few other pin holes. But most are not needed.
Wait how can that be possible? XE is a different phone? Where is its speaker then?
Uhh...I'm pretty sure that's the Rezound's back cover.

It won't work...
I am sorry to say that unless both covers has the antennas in the same exact location (which I truly doubt), it won't work. The pin holes in the back of the sensation are the attachment points for all the antennas, so just looking at the two holes at the bottom of both covers, you can see that they are not in the same location. Sorry mate.
Oh I see lol HTC's official store can distinguish between their phones
nevermind then , thanks for the answers guys
This is exactly what happened to my old phone. I bought the new HTC One <3 and gave my HTC Sensation to my gf. The in-ear speaker started acting up only a few weeks after that and she had a really hard time hearing what the other end said during calls.
So I searched E-Bay for a replacement in-ear speaker and found a nice kit of two speakers + the tools needed for a very low price!
Here is how it went:

Feel free to ask questions if you are having problems.
Edit: Last picture says Reassmbly, supposed to be Reassemble
good info man:good:
it will help a lot of people
The S4 Active charging port have a rubber cover and I bet with constant open / close, this rubber will wear off or even fall off.
Hence, I am looking for a wireless charging solution, while waiting for Samsung to sell their version. Do you have any suggestions?
There seems to be many, like Metrans solution shown below. I am not sure if this will fit in the S4 active and NOT interfere with the rubber seal around the back cover.

I'm guessing you didn't search and find this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2346512).
I bought a replacement midframe for the OPO:

}
Unfortunately, the frame (like any other I found on other sites) doesn't come with the black thermally conductive adhesive transfer tape (cf ifixit teardown at step 19):
My question is where to buy this kind of tape? I've searched the web to no avail, but that might be because I'm not using the right words?
Any insight welcome!
@valkandroid Something like https://www.sparkfun.com/products/10561 ?

It is the right thing for a replacement copper sheet, indeed! Thanks! :good:
But then my two cents is that it won't do as a replacement of the black film you can see on there under the tweezers (you'll find the same kind of film/tape at the back of the frame):
Pic from www.ifixit.com (ifixit OPO teardown, step 19).
EDIT: found this on 3M:
Not sure that would do the trick though ...
Buy 2 batteries from Witrigs, plus glue isolation.
They say they are exactly as the original, and feedback is ok....

Any one try this batteries? Are they the real stuff?
According app from OP, my original battery is about 89%......
Thank you!
UPDATE:
Already installed and they look original.
After remove black paper, there was the logo of OP.
Some photos for posterity:
Infortunaly, i broke the rear glass, due my inexperience. Already gonna ask a new new. Didnt use glue, but only the original one.
It will be more easy to replace for the new one.
P.S. - VOOC or Dash, works. Gonna let deplete battery, the full charge to optimize battery.:silly:
Amazing.....24H and i still have 69%!
