Setting up android kitchen
Hey guys!
I'm sorry I know there are threads regarding setting up of android kitchen, but I need a detailed explanation.
I have installed java jdk and have installed Cygwin also . Now I also downloaded the android kitchen.zip but I didn't get the home directory or folder of cygwin to extract the android kitchen into.
So pls help.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

Hi everyone,I have a problem with framework.odex and framework.jar
i wanted to decompile framework.jar file but there is another file framework.odex
inside framework.jar there is nothing when i decompile it,but i don't know ho to decompile .odex file.
Anyone can help me plz,i'll be very thankful.

deodex the file first
Hello XDA friends any one person please tell me how to open (or) modify the Android ROM lib .so file and I am notepad++ is used to open but not properly opened the .so file and which tool used to read and modify the .so file plzzzz tell me

Hello,
.so files are blobs. Why would you want to edit a blob?
Can you tell us what exactly are you trying to do?

modify reason is I will build the lollipop version on my device and sum bugs are camera and sensor so I need to modify .so file to cleared the bugs
And my phone stock ROM is KitKat version

Hello,
Please try with notepad++ on your computer.
I don't think it is possible to open it from your device directly. You can also try with ES explorer, it comes with inbuilt ES editor.

I don't think really that there is any such app to edit .so file in device.

Hello!
i just want to know about Oreo 8.0 rom.
i decompile secsettings2.apk and framwork-res.apk
both i edit and modified properly
but when i recompile it give me error
already tried different apktool to recompile
but no luck
need help from Xpert

Can you provide us the output ( what's written on the command prompt/terminal when you try recompile the ROM )
i use command
apktool b secsettings2
