This morning my moto g had this problem.
I have always a popup saying that com.android.phone stopped and I don't have network signal.
In Motorola foruns they said that Motorola is working on.
Any ideas how to solve this?
I need my phone working and read that if I downgrade I'll be able to work perfectly. It's a KK bug.

I successfully rooted motorola backflip but after installing a metamorph theme everything is screwed up com.android.phone stopped working[force close], and phone restarts can somebody please help me to retain my phone.

Recently i bought up...a Motorola Moto G...as i started it...it showed me update of 4.4.2 kitkat..Before i upgraded the phone..i saw..that..OTG was perfectly fine...and it was working..correctly..with no bugs....bt after i updated it to 4.4.2 kitkat....the problem started..OTG doesnt respond...and phone gets hanged...

Hi all, I am facing strange problem. Everything was fine till I upgraded My Dual Sim Moto G to Android 4.4.4. On last Monday I updated it to latest software and last friday onwards problems starts. first it reboots automatically, then charging problem whenever I put the phone on charge it either not charging or hangs and taking continuously rebooting. and finally when i connected it to the computer it shows "usb device not recognized". Please give any suggestion. is it a problem of usb port or the software update. Please guys.

I recently rooted my Asus Zenfone 5. I uninstalled pre-installed crap-apps. Much to my horror, I accidentally deleted an app called "Telephony Service" and my SIM Toolkit.
After this, my SIM 1 (I only use 1 SIM card) became unavailable, and my number and carrier became unknown.
I tried to re-enable my SIM 1, and these dialogue boxes appeared:
"Unfortunately, Telephony Service has stopped working."
and
"Unfortunately, com.android.phone has stopped working."
I haven't installed any custom ROM. I already searched for this problem and tried several solutions but it still persists up until now.
Is there any fix for this? Will installing a custom ROM fix this?
I am willing to factory reset or unroot my phone as a last resort.

In the last couple of weeks I've been experiencing some weird issues with my G Flex 2. After coming back from warrianty ( battery change,software updated to 5.1.1) , something was weird with the signal. Sometimes it would work fine but after a reboot or shutdown I would get a " no service " or "service disabled " message and that's it. Also , it says that the radio is off. IMEI is still there, tried to flash 5.0.1 , 5.1.1 , 6.0.1 without any help.
Is there something I'm missing?
