On BCM21553 devices recovery (and CWM) in Ramdisk, in boot.img.
How can it edit boot.img?

Introducing new rom based on official Samsung s5 rom for micromax turbo mini and clones
not much to say about it just use it really a great rom based on STOCK KERNEL (more stable).
how to install
make sure you are on stock jelly bean with custom recovery(2.5gb partition recommend)
wipe factory reset
wipe cache
wipe dalvik
format system
flash zip file
Features
All Samsung rom features
Power saver.
Air gestures(on some devices only).
YOutube working fine
Camera is samsung stock camera plus modes (working photos and videos).
Very stable
etc etc.
Bugs
Dailer size is small....but does the job.
Fun part back camera is 5mp...front is 13mp but quality of both is good.

... then you did something wrong. Normally ROMs built for Grouper run on Tilapia (without SIM support), too, but not vice versa.
