I have used that one but that one doesnt contain all of the countries. I was hoping to get all of the countries in one long swoop.
Sorry, thread closed. I don't see what this has to do with xda.

Now before you guys bite my head off, this is a link to the original forum http://bbs.xda.cn/forum-329-1.html. I cannot access the post to read the details, but the post was made a few minutes ago. Does anyone have access to the forum in order to read the contents of that topic, perhaps a download link?

Don't be There are two different threads on XDA.cn - one for the theme, and one for the port. The theme is the one that has been released - hopefully the port will follow soon!
P.S. You can sign up at XDA.cn using Google Chrome & the translate option.
OP please change topic name..

I think you have to use different browser to register,if you use, google chrome, its unlikely to register.I tried with it,then I change to Opera browser.I think chrome not fully supported Java(popup).Anyway, there is no update at there as well. What we see here is totally same with there.Even china users have no clue at all.
LOL...seriously,OP please change the title,it is misleading...
As the OP has not changed the title, I have done so.
Moved as well, as not WP7 development

Hi im new in this forum, and have been reading alot in the last couple of days and am really impressed how strong the community is here!
In my job i had to programm microprossesors alot (in C and Assembler) and i really liked it and now i wanted to start with programming for android. But i have no ideea where to start because the knowledge here is really high... That is the reason why i have some questions
Wich thread's should i read first? (are the programms needed in that thread?)
Is there a thread where shortcuts are explained?
Or in general with what should i start?
I'm using a HTC desire HD if that makes a diffrenz.
thx for the help and sry for my english havent used it in a while
Your English is better than mine and i'm a native
The only advice i can give right now is to get your post count up so that you're able to post in the Dev sections of the forum!
Welcome aboard.
Hello and welcome to the forums
I myself am also starting to learn programming for Android and here are some good websites to get started.
http://developer.android.com/index.html
http://androidforums.com/application-development/
http://www.anddev.org/
http://www.codinggreenrobots.com/
I would also like to know if there are some books people recommend when getting started for a more structural learning and explaining things in the process.
First thanks for the quick replays.

thx for the links (i cant quote them not enough posts ), so should i go to those websitets to start? Are they more basic information than on this site or is it more to support the information that is on this board?
you need 10 posts to be allowed to post in the dev sec ^^
I would like to say hello to everyone...this is doubtless the best website in the world!
thank you to everyone's work
i hope to learn something

I agree. ANYTHING you need to know is here in the forum. The amount of information is unreal. Reading through the forum, it looks like everyone tries to help everyone out. Couldn't ask for anything more!

Just be sure to search before you ask. People can (rightfully) get a little testy after seeing the same question dozens of times..

Hi, I'm completely new to the forum and a complete novice coder (even novice is an overstatement).
I'd like to develop an app that involves photo stitching, panoramic functions and some other cool features that can be discussed after securing an NDA.
I'm currently working on a wire frame and graphic design for buttons, icons, GUI, etc, but need someone who is good at programming these types of apps, initially for Android, later porting to iOS.
Any and all recommendations for specific individuals, dev teams or companies would be greatly appreciated. I'm an individual entrepreneur with a little capital, but far from "deep pockets", so unfortunately, cost is a big factor. Looking for best bang/buck. Thanks fellas!
Nobody care to help out a noob? It'd be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hello,
You just posted your question yesterday...the Assist RC's get to them as quickly as possible.
Please remember everyone using XDA has a real life (job, family, different time zones, ect)
Please be patient and you will get an answer as soon as possible.
Thanks,

Cool, thanks man. I guess I'm used to forums that are far more crowded and if you don't get an answer in a day, your post gets completely buried and likely will never get a reply. Thanks for the heads up and sorry the betting impatient.

Hey Raj, thanks, but I'm not looking to code an app myself, I'm looking for a dev that I can pay to create one. I tried to learn C++.....i didn't get much past "Hello world!" til I realized I just plain suck at coding! Lol
Sorry about that but i can't help you in this job.
You can try to ask in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2257421
Good luuck

Thanks, but I'm getting the feeling that this forum is more for devs to discuss coding itself, and not so much find jobs coding. I think I'll try my luck on Craigslist. Thanks for the help though.
Hi guys,
The website "androidheadlines" is like a media website about moblie. Is it famous in US or in this field?
We are searching for some reports. How about this one?
Thanks advance!

Try Google, this is really not what XDA Assist is about, please read the stickies. We are here to assist others in Development, no this subject of yours.
