Battery life issue with beanstalk 4.4.2 - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Not sure what is going on. Had not done much with my phone at that point. Sent out a few texts. Even set my phone down and not touch it for half an hour.
Running beanstalk 4.4.200-20131217
Have used greenify to hibernate apps as well.
Any suggestions?

I am brunching 4.4.240 right now. I'll be uploading it to goo.im later tonight or in the morning. I would suggest upgrading to the newer versions available, as a lot has changed since December of last year.

Alright! Will give an update a try and see if that works!

[APP] Live Logcat by ChainFire

Hey everybody,
Just wanted to bring your attention to an awesome app for all you freshly rooted One X users.
The app is called "Live Logcat" by Chainfire and its function is extremely unique. Instead of a boring HTC splash screen and some tiny colored bubbles when you turn your phone on, you'll be greeted with a peek into the complex coding that is your boot process. Not sure what I mean? Well with this app you'll have a realtime view of what your phone is doing as you start it up.
This app is a treat! Load it up once and hit install, then reboot and watch the magic. You can also add in Chainfire's similar app "Live Dmesg" which adds the functionality of seeing what the hardware is doing at boot up too. You can configure what you want the view to look like in the app, and remove copyright information with the awesome (and cheap) pro version.
I've used this app on my previous HTC phones and I was heartbroken when it didn't work on my G2x. Now with the One X my best purchase is now useful again, and it's still got the gusto.
All rooted users can hit up this link to go to the play store. You will see the mentioned apps on this page. I am in no way affiliated or reimbursed by Chainfire, he is just an awesome dev who happens to make the most unique and useful apps.
Enjoy

Rebooted to a black screen with capacitive buttons for a minute, after about 2 minutes I got the HTC splash screen and it seemed like it was bootlooping so as soon as I hit the power button to get into recovery I saw the logcat come up. So I waited for that to finish (which took forever, 2 minutes at least) when it finally booted up my phone app fc'd constantly. I'm sure it was one of many tweaks I've applied that was conflicting.
Does this shorten boot up times for you? If so I'll probably give it another go.

Doesn't seem to work on the Asus Transformer Prime (TF201). I simply don't get any output during booting... it does boot up btw, you just don't see anything (just a black screen).
Cool idea though

Reducing ram usage?

Right now my phone is lagging incredibly bad and happens every so occasion. It feels like my ram is getting full very often. Any tips minus restarting occasionally which I do?

I'm using CM10, and so far it's been great. I've had no problems. One feature I like the most is that you can respond to texts when you're not even on the MMS app.
Almost 3 full days. Not a single sleep of death. Battery life is on par with cm9. My only issue is a slight lag when unlocking the screen (about a quarter of a second)
It's a daily driver.

I find battery usage the biggest problem, can't even manage to make a half day with 3G data connection ON.
Web usage may be limited to max of 2hours. CM9 was better for battery for me could get a day with moderate usage.
Any body facing similar problem to me ? :banghead:

XDA App issues

Quite simply, is anyone else having issues with the app? I'm talking about the Play Store app, not through Tapatalk. Probably been almost a week it seems very goofy. Every other app on my phone works fine. Android Central works flawless (in comparison) but not XDA
Just trying to see if I'm not alone.

Xda app has always had some minor glitches ever since I used it. I found that they mostly pop up after restoring apps on a new ROM. So what I do is just uninstall it and reinstall fresh and everything works good again, mostly.

See I guessed the same thing and it still doesn't work for me. I nailed down too that one specific message in my PM box will FC the app. Weird. I had to go on my laptop to check and delete it. Online works perfect but the app has just been strange lately. At least for the most part the forum loads and I don't get FC issues but issues still persist.
I'm enjoying this community here so much I check often, sucks when the app is malfunctioning.
Now that you mention PM box, reminded me that mine fcs leaving it.:-\

For those having issues accessing their pm box, what I usually do is go to my profile the my posts and then click on a post (any). Then back out then got to pm box. Usually works. I know it's ridiculous to have to that but it's a work around. It may not work for everyone but I hardly ever have force closes that way. Just fyi.
