I would like to know which Motorola stuff are safe to remove from my phone (mostly because RAM usage more than disk)

This is a nice phone, but contains a lot of crap apps that makes the system too slow sometimes...

I have Moto G 2014. I have been using lot of ROMS on my phone( There's lot of development going on). Currently I have dongraded my phone to Kitkat (from CrDroid(based on Android 5.1) to Ehndroix(Based on android4.4 )). Now my question is , I want to learn porting stuff and thus want to port some 5.1 ROM for moto g 2014. So if I upgrade my phone back to 5.1 , Will it be safe ? or will it brick my phone ? Should i do that? Please have your suggestions and it would be better if you explain it in detail. It will help me as well as to othrs whi have the same confusion.

Hello. I'm quite new to this site and don't really know my way around. I have almost no background knowledge in rooting any phone at all. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could direct me somewhere where I can find a simple guide on how to root it, speed up my phone, and improve battery life.
Phone details:
Moto G (1st Gen.)
Android version is 5.1

Can you guys provide me the full working condition methods to unlock boot loader, remove warning message, and root my moto g3 XT 1550 model smoothly,
Main reason to root: to remove all system which are not used and to free up my device ROM and ram.
