yes if your at "DLOAD_QHUSB " thats a hard brick, only way to recover it would be a Jtag fix and since it does not show up on your riff there is no way to fix it.

Well I thought up of something If you want to do it, buy a new motherboard for it, should be relatively easy if you know how to talpke it apart. As of getting the motherboard, I'm not sure. Its risky buying them off ebay because they can't prove if its working or not, or if the GPS, WiFi or antenna is broken, probably best bet would be to scrap one off a cracked glass or broken display.

If your device is under warranty, go to a Samsung SC. Probably your ROM has gone bad. Basically it doesn't know what to do when you press the POWER button.
P.S.: No need of telling the SC guys about the android porting and all. Just tell them that your phone has gone dead and they will probably change your motherboard right away.
If your device's warranty has expired, then the MoBo charges will be around 2-3k (not sure though)

If you can get into fastboot then don't use Odin. Assuming you have fastboot working use these

I guess his phone bricked when he took the battery out when booting. And, when he uses Resurrector, he chosse galaxy s option, but not the Nexus S, then, the phone goes to download mode witch one always give the pit partition error.
Nobody (i guess) really know why this bug happens, but in the most of cases, it's about emmc, if you have an old phone, you can try, maybe...
How difficult is the hardware mod...I have zero experience with soldering but rather than having a dead brick would take chances ...tried taking phone to few phone guys in Toronto who had no clues...so thinking of trying hardware mod myself...would appreciate any guidance

Don't do it then. You will destroy your phone completely.
Just look out for someone (in real-life) that can do it for you.

I am new to Android Upgrade.. I am using Galaxy 3 gt-i5801. 2 days before when i connected my phone to laptop using samsung kies, it showed me that there is an upgrade available( froyo). No nothing.. i tried all the combinations but is not showing anything..
Maybe it hard bricked.
Try flashing stock rom manually via odin.
Do a google search for it.
Edit: connect ur phone to a pc without battery and try the button combos see if the pc detects ur phone.

Same Problem...
Same Problem here ... :crying:
After testing CyanogenMod 7.2 I flashed back to GT-I5800_XXJPU_XXJP4_OXXJPO_multi_xxx.7z via ODIN but after reboot I cannot switch on my I5800.
But maybe it's a hardware problem: About a week ago a line of (black) dead pixels appeared across the screen. :crying:

so no other way other than going to service center?
Well, i think u will be requiring a usb jig.Its a device which forces a samsung device into download mode even if its bricked. You can buy one online.
This is much cheaper than a new motherboard.Hopes it works.

where can i buy this? could you pls give me the link if you can?
edit:
I can see below lines in usbjig.com
Code:
If your phone screen is always black, turn it on and if it stays completely black, then sorry, but NO USB jig will help you.
well if that's true then you have to go for replacing ur motherboard.
but still if you wanna try you can buy one on ebay.

Hi everyone!
A friend of mine found a samsung wave 2. Because it was locked with a password i tried to flash new firmware on it with multiloader.
It gave an error and now i can't get into download mode anymore, it appears on the screen for half a second and then the phone reboots.
I also can't charge it anymore because if i plug it in, the empty battery appears, and the phone reboots after 15 seconds. It doesn't seem to charge and i guess that's why i cant stay in download mode. Also it gets quite hot while charging...
Any ideas how to fix this? I've found numerous topics spread across the internet but none give a real solution :s
Thanks in advance.
Flash a stock firmware using Odin. That should help.
Press thanks if I've helped you
Sent from my GT-P5110 using XDA Premium HD app
No you didnt help, but i managed to charge the battery by wiring it to my galaxy s2, quite dangerous imo
but i succeeded and managed to get into download mode without rebooting, SOLVED

So... Looks like it's hard bricked ... So ... just go to an Authorised service centre, and Play Dumb. Just tell that suddenly your phone wouldn't turn on and that you donno what happened (don't tell about rooting or anything) .... So, depending on how well you acted and how dumb the service centre people are, you 'may' get a replacement under warranty ..
ndmicH perfectly

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news but seems like you have a hard brick... if your phone is showing any signs of life then try getting in download mode by anymeans... if your phone is not even viberating and no display flashing try using a jig... it will help you help in download mode if your phone is recoverable... but I would suggest you to consider the worst case scenario here... flashing I9000 rom will totally hard brick your phone and there is no way to recover it back since the chipset capability will be totally messed up... I would suggest if your phone is still in warranty just go to service center and ask for a board replacement for free... dont say you have rooted or flashed anything or else they wont repair it for free.. Goodluck
