First of all uninstall any Superuser or SuperSU that you have installed. And then flash the attachment (see below) in CWM you will have root access again.

thanks bro.......root access is back
Guys is it possible to root after you've isntalled cwm? like for example once you're in CWM and you reboot your phone via cwm it asks if you want to root? If I select yes will it actually root? or can we flash SuperSu.zip to root?
Yes it will root, but you have to download the supersu app from google play store,or you can just flash supersu.zip, but this will be the same.

Hello mates!
I am currently editing ROM for HTC Desire 300. Now, there is already SuperSU,superuser app, but I am not very satisfacted with it. I am planing to change it to Superuser (Made by ChainsDD) and I need to know following:
Are those 2 apps using same binary ?
Can I simply replace SuperSU apk in system/apps/ with ChainsDD superuser app, or I must something additionally ?
Thanks !
I think they are different binaries

Install the new superuser will prompt you to delete the old one. BTW "SuperSU" is the very best superuser access tool ever made in my opinion
Why not just uninstall the superuser first and then Flash the laster SuperSU

I don't know. I always used Superuser (app) on my older phones and I am somehow used to it. I tried to flash it but then dead android appears (if you know what I mean) and it says instalation failed. I downloaded Superuser.zip from their official website

Means its not caused by S-ON. You just need a flashable zip of your superuser tool. But installing via play store is th easier choice i think.
How many ppl got bootloop after flashing SuperSU
download superusersu zip 2.62 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64161125

Nice to know :good: But I don't need it
@Tjsdj
How would be the exact procedure?
(1. Flash ROM and Gapps.)
(2. Reboot system.)
1. and 2. can be ignored if we have a running system I guess?!
3. Reboot into recovery.
4. Flash custom kernel and supersu 2.52 together.
5. Reboot system.
Am I right?

Yes device is rooted and using magisk module for tez as it was not working
Try installing full 5.1.9 zip in TWRP, reinstall TWRP, reboot recovery, flash preffered magisk, reboot. Data will stay in tact.
