hello, i'm using kk 4.4.2 and i have somes problems with keydocks, in capital letters the number don't appear when i tap on the dock and i have to shift to get them, it's not practice to shift when you want enter numbers on office pro suite. is there an issue for this ?
when i use camera, its force FC when i want to adjust advanced parameters.
With stock browser, i can't see video on line, there's only sound and a black screen. with chrome no problem

I am new to this forum, so please bear with me if I have posted in the wrong section.
I am with T Mobile UK and I have the MDA Vario IV.
Recently, I have had a strange problem when using my slide out keyboard. When I use the onscreen keyboard, I can see the text as I type. However, when I use the slide out keyboard, I can see the cursor moving as I type, but I can't see the text being typed. This happens when composing an SMS, typing into Google's search box, entering log in details for Facebook, etc etc.
As I am Deaf, I obviously use SMS and emails a lot, so this is a problem, as I find the slide out keyboard MUCH easier to use than the onscreen one.

How fast do you begin typing after you slide out the keyboard? I know sometimes when I begin typing too quickly after sliding it out that the cursor will move while I'm typing but no letters will be displayed...but then they all pop up at once.
Have you used a tweaking tool or registry editor to turn on ClearType in Landscape?
There is a known issue with the font not displaying.

keyboard lag solved - possible software conflict
I had tried all the above fixes and they helped, but did not fully alleviate the lag. I was getting annoyed and wishing my hermes was still alive.
Then I remembered that the only real difference in my keyboard setups between the fuze and the 8525 was that I was using the iphone like full qwerty sip instead of the keyboard sip. i selected the finger unfriendly keyboard sip, and voila the slide ouy now has instantaneous response. no lag at all.
It seems to be that the full qwerty sip option forces a t9 function even when you have all that turned off.
Happy again except for the laggy shift between portrait and land scape.
now to find an iphone sip clone that doesnt affect the slideout. By the way this is with the recent stock att rom.
further issues with keyboard
The lagging keyboard issue continues to nag me. it seems to be related to the fuze having a difficuly time with switching to landscape mode. for instance in opera mini when i switched to landscape to type this there is no lag. if I am using messaging for text or email, when I switch to landscape, the lag occurs until I change the sip. it doesnt matter which sip i change to or from, just that it gets changed. i suspect that it has something to do with resetting the keyboard drivers. anyone else noting this problem. Anyone know of a fix? I have t9x turned off, cleartype turned off.
Hello I just bought Indigi A706X tablet, Its having KK 4.4.2. Its showing vertical lines when shifted to black background,
If I open Settings menu or Music, unable to see anything due to lots of line. but work fine with Gallery while viewing pictures, or browsing internet.
Let me know what possibly causing the issue?

I have a NeXBox A95X and for some things it works really well, like Plex.
However other apps seem to default to, for want of a better word, a touch screen configuration.
For example iPlayer will not let me navigate with the cursor keys and I have to switch to mouse mode from the remote that came with it.
Also Google Play will not let me navigate properly using the cursor keys either.
I've looked for settings that set it into a different mode but cannot find any. Does anyone have an idea if there is anything I can do?

I am currently using an EM95X Android Box with a Viewsonic touch screen. The touch screen has been working perfect with the box. My issue is with the rotation ability. Anytime I force the screen into portrait mode the system UI crashes. Unfortunately, I need the monitor view to be vertical. I cannot figure out how to stop it from crashing. I have tried several rotation apps with the same results.
I have went into the build prop to view the rotation texts and the only thing I have found is this:
"Persist.sys.app.rotation=middle_port"
I thought I might be able to find somewhere I can change the rotation, but I have not.
Any suggestions?

I know there have been some other threads with touch screen issues, but I'll say from the start I don't have any Bixby remapper or anything similar.
I bought an Samsung Galaxy S8+ (G955FD) a bit over a month ago. Though it was purchased via eBay, it came completely sealed and brand new. I have started recently (last 3 weeks or so) some weird touch screen issues. Mostly when pinch-to-zoom, long-presses or even regular scrolling through a feed (especially when doing it slower). Below are a bunch of examples showing the behavior and I've been wondering whether anyone else experiences anything like this, or I should definitely RMA it? I've done a few factory resets and the issue has not been fixed.
PS: I am currently in discussions with the seller since it was posted with 1 year warranty, but it seems it's going to take me forever to get it fixed or replaced besides I'm afraid they will say "no issues found".

It was great when I first got it, but then at some point, possibly after an update, I started getting this really odd and annoying bug.
I'm typing something in an app - e..g writing an email, or on a webpage entering info in a form. It can be ANY app, and then suddenly while I'm typing the phone either reverts to the desktop or swaps to another app or goes back - basically it's the 3 commands that appear in previous version of Android at the bottom of the screen, but I don't have those enabled - I use gestures.
I've tried changing keyboards, but it makes no difference.
Can anyone suggest what could be going on here?
NB - If I turn off gestures and revert to the buttons at the bottom of the screen, the problem doesn't seem to occur - the keyboard is slightly higher up the screen now - I can still screw up when typing, missing the space bar low, catching one of these buttons and navigating away. The bug I'm experiencing is like I'm going exactly this though even when those buttons are disabled (gestures).
