Need odin file for GT-N8013 - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I tried sammobile but in order to download it I need a premium account where the file is hosted. Does any one have a mirror? I formatted the system & I accidentally formatted my internal sd & it wont read my external sd so I can't flash a new rom or anything. I'm trying to go back to stock so I can at least boot up again

I'm looking for this also, had to get an Ipad (sucks) for work and looking to go back to stock on my 10.1 in order to try and sell it.
Actually, I think I just need the stock recovery...

Is "Settings > Applications > Unknown sources" checked? If not, that's probably your problem.
If anything, you could always just Odin KC1 instead. As what everyone has been saying, KD1 has a faulty system partition.
As for the 8GB sd card, Samsung decided to cheap out on the newer phones. All of them come shipped with 8GB sd cards now.
I would recommend odining kc1 for a fresh start plus you will have root. Then grab cwm final by krylon 360. Once you have all that up and running make a backup of the 8gb sdcard on your pc and format it inside the phone ,replace all the files you want plus the update.zip. reboot into recovery and see if you can adjust the mounts. If so now try flashing a rom. Most roms need the ext4 converter to install properly should it require this it should be stated in the op of the rom you intend to install if not read through the post a little to see if anyone else has had similar issues or had to use the ext4 converter. Hope this helps and you get things going for you girls phone.
Edit: also do not use rom manager as it is not for our phone yet.

i odin'ed kc1 and still cannot mount cache, didnt use CWM used the update.zip and reinstalled via stock recovery... its starting to anger me
edit...
nvm im retarded and was odining the wrong file...
status update in a sec
If you can't use the 8gb card, why don't you just flash the phone using the 16 gb card and then put the 8gb back when its done?

i have tried and that wont work flashed kc1, i can now download and install apps but cant get in to recovery now
ok odin'ed KC1 cant seem to get into recovery, i have tried to root explorer push the recovery file into system>bin wont work, i have also tried to reinstall via update.zip from the stock recovery and that wont work either.... very frustrated atm... going to sleep if anyone could help it would be very much appreciated, thanks
What do you mean it won't work? did you make sure to press the mount r/w button before pasting the file? If there is an extension in the filename, remove it. And you don't install the update.zip, you just place it in the root of your sd and leave it there.

Is your recovery file named "recovery.bin"? If it is, you have to rename it to just "recovery". It won't overwrite properly if you don't do it that way. Maybe you should try using another root explorer. I use Super Manager and it works perfectly. Be sure to enable root function and r/w mode though.
What do you mean that you tried to reinstall via update.zip?
EDIT: Seems like jager555 beat me to it.
Also, you could redownload the recovery file and update.zip. Who knows, something might've happened during the download process and messed it up.

thanks for all the tips, while using root explorer it was in r/w mode and the update.zip i use so CWM works, on my phone sometimes it will go into the stock recovery (blue in color) i got to the second option reinstall pakages and it will do a quick flash and boot into CWM recovery (yellowish in color) im now running CWM red on my phone so its not an issue but cannot seem to get it to work on the GF phone, i have tried everything i can think of and followed all the tips here and still cannot get it to work
leave your sd card and sim card out of the phone and odin to kc1. when it is complete, let the phone sit for 10-15 minutes. put the sd card in and then redownload krylons cwm final and move the two files to the right locations, making sure they are named properly and you OVERWRITE the files that are already there. once it is done, power off the phone, remove your sd card and do a full format. when this is done, put back the update.zip on the root of the sd card, put on the ext4 converter, as well as icbinb. these are the only 3 files you will need right now. start up the phone by pressing the 3 button combo and go into the orange cwm final. wipe cache and factory reset. check mounts, flash ext4 converter and then flash the rom and reboot. im not sure why your cache is the problem. you can try to odin to kb5 and see if that gives you different results. but if that doesnt work, i dont know what to tell you.

So in about to try gingerbread humble 3.0 I'm gonna go stock froyo to stock gingerbread to humble. Now looking at my sd card and its just a jumbled mess from all the app installs and ununstalls and roms... If I format my sd card when I go stock gingerbread will it write the files I need on the Sd? I hate unorganized file systems and want to clean these up.. But I don't want to to wipe and find out I needed a file that came preinstalled on the phone.. Thanks

You should be able to wipe your card. Everything you need to install the ROM can be downloaded from the thread.
I was having a problem with GC FE 2.0 and was advise to format my sd card. So after backing up the whole SD card on my pc i did a format via CWM. Did the normal wipe everything, mounted SD card and put 2.0 back onto the card. Then reflash 2.0 back on to my phone. After flashing it went into a boot up and would not allow me to go into recovery. So i oden another rom onto my phone but still bootloop. Had to oden the pit file and ED1 and start all over.
Not saying that it would happen to you, could have just been a freak thing just wanted to let you know what happened with me when i tried it.
Good luck and hope it works for you.
Well i just connected via usb and formated card. Flashed the rom
And installed non paid aps from market and used tibu fir paid aps...worked fine Rom made needed folders.
Sent from work sucks huh
Glad it worked okay for you.

Folders from stock 4.04 still there after flashing CM10

I have seemingly successfully installed CM10. However, all of the internal SD folders from my prior stock 4.0.4 install are still there. I want a nice, clean and fresh install and want all junk from the previous stock version gone, but I don't know what's new and what's old. If there is a way to formate/wipe everything, then it seems that that would also delete the new system files as well as as the CM10 Rom zip, thereby making it impossible to reinstall.
Insights and suggestions on this matter greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Make sure you format /system as well as cache and factory reset. Do it twice if it will make you feel better.
You most likely just did a factory reset which leaves a bunch of trash behind.
Format all of that
Flash cm10
Flash gapps

I seem to have answered the last part of my of my inquiry. In CWM 5.5.0.4, I formatted data, system, cache, emmc, sd card. I can now only access recovery mode or download mode. In recovery mode, I obviously can't flash CM10 from the internal SD because I formatted/deleted it! When I get home, I'll try flashing CWM 6.0.1.0 in Odin and then flashing CM10 through the external SD card. If that doesn't work, then I'll have to flash the stock ROM.

Tried it the way outlined above and I now have a nice, clean install CM10!
Next time don't format emmc and sdcard.
For me i delete the files manually using Astro file manager or using a computer and use free app called (sd maid) in google play to remove more and do more cleaning of internal sd card it searches for app remains and empty directories etc all that after flashing the rom immediately before restoring my apps
Not bad but if anybody could find a better solution post it

Recovering Phone after failed rom (no backup)

Hello, my phone is rooted and unlocked but unfortunately I'm stuck without a way to rom my phone back to operation (4.0.4). I made the mistake of not keeping a backup or rom on my internal sdcard . Clockworkmod doesn't seem to work when you try and mount the sdcards in recovery
I decided to try the jellybean rom which for some reason doesn't have the play store on it which I cannot install astro so I can copy a new rom over within the os.
I didn't leave any roms on my internal sd card , I cannot mount the internal or external sdcard CWM recovery to copy a new rom and install (running 6.0 CMW) , I've attempted to find a solution to flashing ANY rom back onto my phone via ODIN but no luck.
are their roms available in md5 / tar format that I've overlooked?
Thank you so much!
You may need to flash with a PIT file included with stock rom tar. Look around for a PIT FILE. I don't know if anyone has one posted

did you download GAPPS??? thats probably why you dont have a play store
^^^^^^ that's probably true. If you want to change roms with Odin, there are a handful of Odinable files around. Do you want to go back to an unrooted or rooted rom? Also, what happens when you try to access your SD card (internal or external) from CWM? And where did you get the CWM you are currently running?
There are links to ODINable stock images and the like at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1762709. You should be able to restore your phone to an out-of-the-box state with the information and directions provided.
just do a quick search

[Q] G2X Jelly Bean: SOL?

Well, I had a bit of a stupid moment. I Inherited a G2X from a friend of mine, and, of course, my first instinct was to install Jelly Bean from. First off, I never made a backup of my previous data, and second, I botched an install.from the eaglesblood. I forgot to install the GApps, leaving me without the play store. Not much of a problem until I realized that the ROM wasn't reading or mounting my SD card. So, I cannot download the USB Mounting app because it requires an sd card, and that I can't install GApps because I have no way to move files from the computer and I have no way to download the app directly to the phone to install the GApps. Help me?
EDIT: I used clockworkmod recovery 5.0.2.0
If you have an SD reader on your pc , take the SD card out of the phone and load a different rom or gapps that way (in the proper folder or remember where u put it to access it)... Then replace SD card in the phone and flash via cwm.

Ah-ha! I just took an older phone, and mounted it on there to transfer the files. Thanks for the help, though.
