Hello there,
It's already builtin my rom but if you want to modify by yourself then you need to do the following:
1. using a file browser app, go to the folder / system / usr / keylayout
you must give root permissions to the file browser and text editor
2. open the file mtk-kpd.kl and search for the string "key 102 HOME"
3. add the word WAKE , and the chain will have to look like this: " key 102 HOME WAKE "
4. save, reboot and try
In order for these modifications to work flawlessly you also need a running background service . I choose to install an app called "AutoScreen On" that uses proximity or gravity sensors monitoring. After this you will have the Home Key Wake up working flawlessly. Hope i helped you.
Cheers!
GravityBox updated to version 2.9.5.
Download zip file and flash via CWM, TWRP or CTR (no wipes needed).
thanks

Coming from Stock 1.06 is data wipe essential?
If so, could I restore a CWM data partition backup over this ROM?
If you are comming from 1.0.6 then you dont need to wipe anything but if you do restore previous cwm backup data will be OK.
Can you tell me what is the main difference between my stock 1.0.6 version and this costume ROM? I have stock rooted 1.0.6 with Gravitybox and Xposed instaler.
Thanks in adance

I actually tried it without data wipe. SIM was not recognised?
Data wipe / factory reset fixed it. Then restored selective data from Titanium, not CWM (didn't want everything back).
Frankly, I don't see much if any difference between this ROM and stock plus GravityBox, but thanks for your efforts.
nice thanks for sharing :good: :good: :good: :good: :good:

Hi,
After 1 year my warranty is now off and i'm starting to replace the slow stock rom by CROMi-X rom.
My tab is a 4.2.1 / 10.6.1.14.8 stock rom and so far here is what i have done :
- backup all my apps with Titanium Backup and copy them on my PC
- unlock with Asus unlock tool
- install goomanager
- install OpenRecoveryScript from within goomanager
Now i'm downloading the deodex cromi-x 4.7.0 before doing next steps.
I have few questions :
- TWRP was it installed when i installed goomanager and OpenRecoveryScript or did I miss a step ?
in thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2223492 it's indicated :
If you are already rooted then use goomanager to install the latest TWRP via the menu
So I believe I have to do something inside goomanager but i don't find literaly in its menu the option "install latest TWRP".
Coud you please indicate me what option of the menu I have to use to do that step ?
- i've chosen deodex in case i'd like to add theme. is it your own choice or do you prefer odex ?
- is it interesting to install nvflash (i'm sure anyway that my tab is compatible with that) ?
- nandroid backup : is it done from inside TWRP (after boot recovery) ?
- navigate backup to install : is it done from inside TWRP (after boot recovery) ?
That's all for the moment, thanks in advance for your assistance

I see in some other threads that this is the goomanager option "install recoveryscript" that install TWRP and now i see in my tab inside folder goomanager that there is a file openrecovery-twrp-2.6.0.0-tf700t.blob. It seems to me that this is the rwrp tool. Am I right ? Then it means that I could now boot on recovery (option Rebbot Recovery inside goo manager + Power and Volume Down and hit Volume up on the RCK icon in the 10.6.1.x bootloader screen) to do next actions (backup my current rom and then install the cromi-x rom).
Question : Do I need to do a factory reset ?

- I did not use goo to install the twrp, so I don't know how it works...
- I believe that you use goo to find the latest twrp and install it yourself using goo. There must be a menu or button that you can use to install twrp or other custom recovery.
- You can not use NVFlash to backup your blob if your tab has a rom version later than ICS .26.
- Yes, you can nandroid backup from TWRP when you have it installed.
- I use both of them to test out the theory of performance. I don't know if one is better than the other. However, I have noticed that Sbdags has more tweaks in the build.prop of Odex version comparing with Deodex. Only Sbdags can answer that question for. You could try both and test them yourself. Hope that I answer all yourquestions..
- Yes, you can restore your backup from TWRP.
The post above me has a good question for you. Goo needs root permission to install any custom recovery. You can use motochopper to get root if you have not had it. Good luck.
To install twrp recovery using Goo you must be rooted first tha'ts why I asked have you used motochopper to root.

To install twrp using Goo is easy, open Goo, look in the top right hand corner for the three dot click on it then click on install open recovery.
Wait for twrp to download and your tablet should boot into update mode and you should see a blue bar build from the left when it's finished it should reboot ans you should then have twrp installed.
You can download quick boot from the play store and when you open it you will see an option to enter recovery, the easy way,

You don't imagine how many times I've read the CROMI-X instruction (link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2223492) in order to be sure not to brick my tab !
I don't see any missing task or any wrong thing that i've done. But this is the first time I ever install an alternate rom on an android device and even if i'm working in computing, this is quite new for me and I might be wrong. So if you have a few minutes to check my resume below, I would be very grateful to have your remarks or questions
My current configuration :
- stock rom 4.2.1
- bootloader 10.6.1.14.8
- root (via motochooper)
What I have done :
- download "CROMi-Xenogenesis 4.7.0 DEODEX" from CROMI-X thread link
and copy the zip file (CROMi-Xenogenesis DEODEX 4.7.0_Signed.zip) to the internal SD card
- backup all my apps and data (with Titanium Backup) and copy it on my computer
- unlocked the tab (via asus unlock tool) : at bootup it displays "the device is unlocked"
- twrp installed (via goo manager / install OpenRecoveryScript)
- quick boot installed (as i was not sure of how to use twrp)
- boot on recovery (via quick boot) : i'm now in TWRP v2.6.0.0
- done backup of 3 partitions (system, data, boot)
If I read the CROMI-X thread, it says that now I have to :
- Navigate back up to install (inside TWRP)
- Choose the CROMi-Xenogensis zip file and follow the instructions
- Enjoy

Yes what you have done sounds right, one thing I normally do is back up all the partitions, and I copy the back up to the micro sdcard that I have mounted in the tablet.

I don't have any micro-sdcard and my largest sdcard (to connect to the dock) is not large enough (1 Gb). So i've quit TWRP and connect the tab to my PC to copy the TWRP/Backup folder to my computer.
The copy from my tab to my PC is not working for the large files (i don't know why).
I'm doing again the backup : this time i do backup of all partitions (not only the 3 selected by default).
As i don't do factory reset, I should not loose this backup, should I ?

:FAQs:
Q: Wanna know about Aroma File manager?
Visit the aroma file manager main thread for more info---> Aroma file manager main thread
Aroma file manager is a touch file manager which can be used while in recovery. It has options for copy, paste, delete,
change permissions and many others. Also, it has a Terminal inside. So, if you forgot to give correct permissions to any
file you can do that directly from recovery. This file manager has got many themes, font, icons, etc. options and it's UI
is fully customizable.
Q: How to start this File manager in Recovery?
Rename the downloaded file to 'aromafm.zip'.
Create a folder 'aromafm' inside 'Clockworkmod' folder on your sdcard.
Now, move that 'aromafm.zip' file to the 'aromafm' folder.
We're ready now, when you want to use it in recovery just double tap anywhere OR go to "philz Settings" and select
"Aroma File Manager" and it will start up.
If you also want to browse /data, /system and /sd-ext then mount them in the "mounts & storage" option in recovery.
Q: Problems with Aroma file manager startup?
After doble-tapping OR selecting 'Aroma file Manager' option under 'philz settings' if recovery gives error: 'aromafm.zip
not found at /clockworkmod/aromafm' then, wait for 4-5 seconds and again select 'Aroma file Manager', because it maybe
busy mounting sdcard.
If still doesn't work, you've made mistakes in steps mentioned in first post, please do again carefully.
Q: Does your phone every time reboots to recovery?
This happens very rare when you flash the recovery using any bad app or via any wrong (not proper) method. What you can do
is:
-If you've made a backup of your current ROM then just restore only it's "boot" and then select 'reboot to system'.
OR
-You don't have a backup? Then just flash the ROM which you are using currently again and wipe 'dalvik-cache'. Then reboot
to system. Booting process will take time.
NEW: Now you can enjoy the full version of the recovery! Thanks to @Phil3759 for uploading necessary
commits for armv6. And, everything is expected to be bug-free. Please report the bug here if you find any.

i tried your recovery by creating a zip update
you should work more on it because the graphic in some aroma installer or aroma file manager doesnt work too good!
and just feels the normal CWM and not Philz recovery !
But any way, Good Job!

Aroma File Manager has no LDPI resources. If you want it for LDPI, you can do it, it's an Artist's work. I'm not gonna do it.
Please read the first post carefully. It has no GUI options: So, no themes and all that.
It's not at all like normal CWM in terms of functions. It has got many important functions, atleast for me.
Most important part:
I've worked on this advanced only version for 20-25 days already and made it fully stable.
And...I've worked for almost 2 months on FULL VERSION. Discussed a lot with Phil3759 and finally came to conclusion that it won't work on armv6 unless it's (libtouch_gui) specially compiled for armv6, Which Phil3759 didn't have time and resources for.
So, Be happy with this recovery. No one can give you better philz recovery than this, atleast at present.
Installed your recovery.
Selected clean install ROM option.
Installed a ROM.
Selected Reboot System.
Phone rebooted into your recovery.
Tried various ROMS all rebooted into your recovery and not to the newly installed ROM.
Flashed CWM 6.0.4.6 and installed a ROM and rebooted to installed ROM successfully.
Any ideas what is wrong?
I do like the Aroma FM.

Yep...you're correct.
It won't boot into system.
I finally figured out that it is a problem in androidarmv6 sources. You can see change #6205 if you want.
It was maybe fixed just 4-5 days ago by androidmeda and I'll be again making the recovery and give you all for testing.
This is not only problem of your device but it is also there in: tass, gio and beni.

i read that!
pay attention: the aroma that use in every CWM works fine
but in your recovery it has a bad graphic and kind of blue!
i mean before you create this Philz recovery we had a older version that works perfect!

It works perfect just in the sense: It reboots to system successfully. It lacks Aroma file manager also. And, Aroma file manager with that original green colour doesn't come with armv6 sources nor it will come if you download from original thread.
I'll be fixing reboot to system soon.
That recovery doesn't even have Touch, GUI options and all that.
UPDATE:
-Updated PhilZ sources to 6.23.9 (26.03.2014).
-CM-OTA compatibility fixes.
-Reboot to system bug fixed.

Reboot system is working
Aroma File manager is working
I will test and report any bugs if find them.
Does this version reformat ext4 partitions as ext3 when doing a restore?

It reformates the partition to the state in which it was in your backup file. The working of this PhilZ Recovery will be the same way as your CWM 6.0.4.7 works. Nothing different except features.
Tested, worked fine with aroma file manager. Flashed cm 11 has no error.
Keep your work
Here is temporary flashable zip file
As I reported previously in another Clockworkmod thread here, this version also does not restore SD-Ext Ext4 formatted partitions correctly. SD-Ext Ext4 partitions are restored as Ext3 not Ext4.
You can verify this by
1. Create an Ext4 partition on your sdcard using MiniTool Partition Wizard.
2. In CWM create a nandroid backup.
3. Immediatley restore the backup.
4. Check sdcard partition structure in MiniTool Partition Wizard, you will find the partition you created as Ext4 is now reported as Ext3.
Can you confirm this?
Can you remove all background images from your release, maybe except the ClockworkMod Logo. Background images make reading the output from operations difficult.

1) I don't have your device but in my Galaxy 5 it works fine. I make backup (have an sd-ext and has some stuff also inside) and then restore it and everything is still fine. Link2sd still detects it as ext4. Even if it's a bug, it is not related to my PhilZ Recovery but to the androidarmv6 sources and I maybe can't do anything for it (don't have time to submit a patch for review...maybe I don't have that expertise too).
2) Which logo you mean? The one with Big Green Android? I would prefer to keep it that way...don't wanna make it lean more towards an unofficial build. However, I won't be able to do it (even if I want to) right now because my PC is busy and I can't compile on it right now.
Once I get my PC free, I'll make TWRP for your device and provide a final (final for some time) update for PhilZ Recovery (less probability though for PhilZ update).
When I was flashing a rom with aroma (miui v4 to be precise) its showed me get.prop errors.
Saying that my device is not beni and not 5670
And this happened only on this recovery and only with roms with aroma installer, rest of the roms work fine.
And for the TWRP version, TWRP cannot flash memory scripts (like cronmod's int2ext)
Can something be done for that?

Aroma installer's dev OR miui rom's dev is lazy to update the update-binary. KitKat requires new update-binary because Google changed the way getprop worked uptil Jellybean.
TWRP? I don't think I've made a TWRP for Galaxy Fit yet.
I wanna tell you only one thing: You are using everything from latest KK branch: PhilZ Recovery and TWRP (maybe you're talking about the one of Galaxy Mini), so please take some time to read on: What all Google changed in recovery with KitKat. Your int-ext script is suffering from old update-binary for sure.
MAJOR UPDATE:
PhilZ Recovery updated to 6.27.9.
PhilZ Recovery FULL VERSION now enabled (Touch, GUI options and everything!).
CWM updated to 6.0.4.8.
Ready for official support!
I seriously want feedback on this version. If it is working, we can now get our phone in "officially supported devices" list.

Awesome!
All gui and touch functions work properly.
Flashed a zip and everything works fine except reboot system and power off.
Both of them simply reboot into recovery.
Will report other bugs if found.
And nice job :good:
A little bug. Fixed it.

Give me feedback. Everything else like: screenshot double-tap shortcut for aroma fm (read first two posts to understand), GUI options, etc are especially needed for testing. Post some screenshots also.
Hi!
I'm looking for a clean, basic rom for my S-6310, without any pre installed apps, just pure android, like on my Nexus 7. I searched for it all over the net, but couldn't find one. If it's pre rooted, it's okay, but I don't need any pre installed apps (like samsung apps, touchwizz) etc.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thank in advance!

Do the following only if you flashed OTA KK, otherwise you will get errors:
The statusbar toggle buttons are in spanish. If you want them in english, copy SystemUI.apk using Root Explorer in root folder/system/app and set file permissions to rw-r-r-, then reboot the phone.

For enhancing your experience with Emotion Xperia Rom V11 by Paul Vity, I suggest you to install the following apps. If you apply the OTA KK, the rom will run Google Experience Launcher (GEL). Otherwise, the rom will run Xperia Z home launcher.
Xposed Framework Installer – you will need this before installing any of the modules:
http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.robv.android.xposed.installer
Only if OTA KK is flashed:
Xposed GEL Settings (Xposed module) – will allow you to theme Google Experience Launcher, install icon packs etc.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.theknut.xposedgelsettings
Only if OTA KK is not flashed:
Unicon (Xposed module) - will allow you to apply whole icon packs to Xperia Z home launcher that comes installed with Emotion Xperia Rom V11 (without the OTA KK installed):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=sg.ruqqq.IconThemer
Missed It! – app for receiving notifications. Works either on it’s own or with Xposed GEL Settings module. You can install this with OTA KK or without OTA KK flashed.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.igecelabs.android.MissedIt
Instructions for Missed It!:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92vhOce1uNU
Icon Changer - will allow you to change individual icons for apps on your homescreen. It will not change icons in the app drawer. You can install this with OTA KK or without OTA KK flashed. Works independently from Xposed GEL module.

You have to be on stock rom before flashing emotion V11, preferably ver. XXAMK1, since this rom is based on it. You can try V10L, it's much more stable, same rule applying.
