Idk how bad this is, you can see my screen time is barely on and my phone is barely awake, yet i get 8 hrs :l Idk if other people phone is the same. Plus half of the time I had my network disabled...
I'm still on 4.1.1 :l I heard that's a really bad for battery. If I upgrade to 4.4.2 will it make a difference?
That doesn't look very good. Can you provide more information on your device please? Stock/modified? Bootloader details? ROM/kernel?
Sent from my Evita
Out of curiosity how many apps have you installed and uninstalled since your last flash? How many do you have currently installed? Have you tried benchmarking your standby times on a freshly flashed device with only stock/gapps installed?

Battery life will vary but for me this is what
I get on a 4.4.2 ROM. If you are in low coverage areas it drains battery way fast

What you're saying about battery draining quickly in a low coverage area is spot on. I don't think providing your own battery usage helps much though because battery stats vary wildly from user to use even on the same ROM, there are too many variables.

About 3 hours of on-screen time has been the average for me. Phone's about 2 years old.

Anyone else had this issue? I've trued different roms and kernels with the same results. Only had it a week so I know the battery is good.

It's normal. No Nexus S (4G or otherwise) charges past 95%. Samsung designed the battery that way on purpose.
Try search next time as this has been asked and answered before.

This theory seems similar to the way Panasonic Toughbooks' battery saver works. Basically, when you turn on ECO mode (or battery saver) on a Toughbook, it says it will only charge the battery to 80% max. Yes, you lose 20% of your charge, but your battery is said to last ~3 yrs instead of ~1 yr with heavy use (as Toughbooks are designed for).
Kinda annoying, but makes sense.
just so you know, its possible to charge to 100%. you just need to finish charging with the screen on. if it stops charging before you turn on the screen, unplug it then plug it in. honestly, im not looking 3 years down the road. im looking to get the most out of my battery now.

Does anyone is experimenting terrible battery life with cm10 or it's just me ?
anyone know how to fix this?

I had a horrible battery life for the first 2 days, talking dead battery in 6-7 hours with average use, couldn't really find a solid reason behind it.. so..
What ended up fixing it was a full wipe (system/cache/delvik) and reflashing CM10 again, after that I went back to what I call normal battery life - aka: charge the phone once a day over night and good for 12-14 hours.

CM10 gave me too many problems to keep it around.

DANG! That is low! I flash a lot of roms does it go down after a while? I'm certainly a crack flasher so maybe it goes down with time? I'm currently on the Rasbean Jelly Rom
wait to see
01% here
14% here
CPU usage? Mine varies. Normally around 3% to 15%, but sometime it goes up to really high 60% - 80%, and that's when the phone is supper laggy, reboot time. It used to do that a lot in ICS but rarely in JB. I'm running AOKP JB Aug 26 nightly.

Okay excellent! Mine is 11% now I'm glad my numbers are close to others. It does however spike up to 60-70% at times...not sure why. HUGE battery drain sometimes and I've done the clean flash and all...
I'm going at about 12% right now...
actually I wanted to know if anyone had a problem like this before. I had an app for football news and it's never done this before but it spiked up to 80% the other day and it was killing my battery, so i had to uninstall it cause it wouldn't stop lol. anyone ever have this happen before?
I have been running CleanRom 3.0 for about 7 months now and have been getting great battery life. For the last week or so I have been getting horrible battery life and i cannot figure out why. I have not done anything different or added any apps since the fall. I have done all the tips and tricks to saving battery ....display set at 10%/30 seconds, All notifications turned off, gps off, bluetooth off etc... I can usually get an average of 22 hours before needing to look for a charger.
Today:
10.5 hours and 12% left. Not even 2 hours of screen time. I have phone forced on 3g and get good reception at my home where I was for most of the day.
Can someone please give me some insight here? maybe I'm missing something??

Maybe your battery itself.
There are far to many variables that play a part in battery life.
Look into 5.6 and remember to toggle off data and WiFi when not in use.
Worth a try.
Edit: now I clearly see you toggle WiFi and data off when not in use. Haha sorry.

Agreed, try changing kernel or kernel settings, gov types, speeds, tweak options.
Sometimes it take alot of trial and error to figure out the best rom/kernel combos. May also have to change a few things in the rom and/or kernel to do so. Goodluck!
You can try an app call "Better Battery Stats"
I am on stock rom, rooted, and using ElementalX Kernel. I don't think that really matters because whatever ROM I am on or whatever kernel, the battery drain is still there. In betterbatterystats, wlan_rx_wake is draining my idle battery horribly, along with a bunch of other random wakelocks. I've tried the majority of the solutions, but none have worked for me. And also, turning off wifi just gives me bam_dmux_wakelock. Is there a way any of you know that gets rid of the wakelock? Any help would be much appreciated. Also note in the screenshots the battery started from 90. (rebooted)

I was getting pretty bad standby battery life also. Turns out that I live at the fringe of LTE coverage where I'm at with tmo. Switching to 3g preferred has substantially increased my standby battery life. I was also missing calls/texts. Turns out that the phone was switching between LTE and 3g/3.5g very often causing all of my issues.
