ROOTING GUIDE :
1. Download the updated version from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886460
or check attachments at the end.
2. Extract it
3. Open runme.bat file or any .bat file in the folder.
4. select 1.
5. it tells what to do. (select restore from right corner on ur phone screen).
6. it reboots twice.
Now ur phone is rooted.

CUSTOM RECOVERY ::
CLOCKWORKMOD & TWRP-TOUCH Recovery
here u can install mods, patches, roms or any updates
or rom backup/restore,etc.
for recovery installation
after rooting ur phone
1. install mobile uncle tools[DO NOT UPDATE] download link attached.
2. download the recovery.img from the below attachments.
3. place it in root of sd-card.
4. open mutools, grant superuser permissions.
5. click on recovery update.
6. select recovery.img from ur sdcard.
7. now click reboot to recovery.
now recovery is installed.

2. extract clockworkmod folder it to root of sd card.
3. reboot to recovery-
switch off -> powerbutton + vol- button.
4. wipe cache/dalvik. and data(optional)
go to backup and restore
5. click restore select this backup and select yes......

[GUIDE] Easiest Way to Root & Flash Recovery On your Xolo Q800

Easiest way to root and flash recovery on your XOLO device
(This method can be used on most mediatek devices Q1000, Q700i,Q700,Q800 or Q600 but RECOVERY will differ for each device)
Step by Step explaination below:
STEP 1: Download Latest Framaroot APK from this link
STEP 2: Install the App and Launch it

STEP 3: open app and select Super SU from dropdown menu, Select boromir now n reboot your phone.
STEP 4: Download The Recovery of Your Choice
I Prefer TWRP myself
TWRP for Xolo Q800-link
CWM for Xolo Q800-link
STEP 5: Locate recovery.img and extract from rar file (you can use es file explorer or easy unrar lite for that)
STEP 6: Now place recovery.img in root of your SD card
STEP 7: Download Mobile Uncle tools from play store

STEP 8 : Open Mobile Uncle tools and select Recovery Update (as in pic below)
STEP 9:Following Screen will pop up showing recovery.img, select recovery.img n select ok, then reboot into recovery n viola your phone is rooted n you flashed recovery too
CONGRATULATIONS!!! you have successfully rooted your XOLO Q800

Xolo Q800 Variety Problem
I tried to install custom recovery and custom rom and when I tried to install in my pc its showing installed recovery and custom rom and also done a full flash of stock rom.
After booting the same rom appears and same notifications appears.
I tried to reset the from settings and tried to reset from android stock recovery, After booting the same rom appears and same notifications appears.
Please help me asap.

You must root your device. If u don't know how to root your device, search in YouTube "How to root Micromax A94 "
if you have CWM installed than goto Step 3 else do from Step 1...........
Step 1: Than install flashify on your phone from play store and than you have to install Clock Work Mode (boot.IMG) from the link below.
(ask me if u have any understanding mistake)
Step 2 : press volume down + power and release it when you see your phone manufacturer logo release the keys. you are now on CWM screen.
Step 3: In CWM first do "mount system and mount data" in mount/storage option. than goto back and choose install ZIP from SD card. Select the desire ZIP file which will be XPHTC.zip . Your installation will start.
Step 4: Reboot system after you completed. Enjoy......
NOTE: Flasify part is little bit critical..... flash the boot.IMG in flasify on "Recovery Flash" not the boot flash. Do choose file and select your desire Boot.IMG.

Thanks for the Custom ROM for A94. I installed it as per instruction and everything went alright, until I rebooted.
Now I get the pop up message "Unfortunately System UI has stopped " ad gives me option to press OK. but it keeps popping up again within a sec. So cannot use it.
Can you please throw some light how to resolve this issue.
Appreciate if you or others(who faced similar issues) could reply. Many thanks in advance.

I have made ClockWorkMod Recovery with help of MTK Droid Tool.
ClockworkMod Recovery for Karbonn Ta-Fone A37 MT6577 Download
Installation :-
0.Root you A37 with Framaroot
1.Download the CWM recovery ^^^ and put in Sdcard [any internal or Ext.]
2.Download Mobileuncle MTK Tools and Install.
3.In app go to Update Recovery.
4.Select Recovery Img.
5.Update it .It will take some time.
6.After it will Automatically boot in Recovery or In app go to Reboot recovery.
7.Done !!! Enjoy!!! Happy Flashing!!!

I tried to install this on my Ta-Fone A37 HD and when i booted into the recovery mod... all I could see was white lines and and overall glitchy look of a bricked recovery. This IMG has bricked my reocvery. The device is working fine though. Could you please upload the stock recovery for the tab?

1. CWM recovery img is working fine.
2. You can try flashing Recovery via Flashify or other img flashing softwares.
3. If then also It's not working for you then make CWM by using MTKdroid tool here" {It's Really Easy.:good:}

[ROM] MarioOS for karbonn A16 Custom ROM
Here i am again with new Port for Karbonn A16.
This time ROM is ported from some Chinese vendor but ROM is fabulous in features and working perfectly in karbonn A16...
based on Android 4.3.0 jellybean.
Have various theme support, fonts, Different wallpapers...Lovely launcher...beautiful interface.

using this ROM from last 3 days and didn't found any major issue.

Dual SIM support
Battery Saver inbuilt.
But need to be install SuperSU zip through recovery to get proper root access and to use battery saver in best performence mode.
I Dont have word to describe this ROM...This is best ROM i ever ported to any device in all feild....\
Every thing is working....dont think about anything...just flash it..
NOTE"- Make full Backup of your DATA and NVRAM before starting flashing this.

requirments:
First of all rooted device
CTR / CWM recovery installed.
Make a full backup of your current data, ROM, NVRAM. to know how? check my blog post.
Winrar to extract the RAR file and get flashable zip file
How to flash it.
take backup all of your data and android
Download all these 6 rar files.
Put them in one folder.
if you have winrar software then procced to next step otherwise first download winrar and install it...Winrar download
Now right click on "A16_marioOS-V1.0.part1.rar" and choose extract here (make sure you putted all above 6 files in one same folder.)
Now you will get one more folder there you will find flashable zip file.
Now put that zip file into your internal storage or sdcard.
Now reboot into recovery. volume up with power button.
Now go to mount and storage section.
choose "format system"
now go back
go to wipe menu
choose wipe data
choose wipe delvik cache
go back
choose install
choose zip file where you put it, if internal then choose from internal otherwise choose from sdcard.\
Flsah it.
you will not able to reboot through recovery after successful installation so dont worry if you get some (system bin) error...just pull out battery and reinsert battery and restart...this is just cause due to CTR recovery/
Now reboot.
You have Android 7.0 on your 512 MB RAM device.
