Hi guys, in jelly bean, I noticed that when I recorded slow-motion video, it disabled the sound. But now on kitkat, it has sound enabled and it's some weird loud sound. Do you guys know how to fix it?

working as intended considering the fact the way it applies "slow-mo".
I have this too. On JB it was recording without sound, on KK there is sound while recording and then playing slo mo video.

It's impossible to use slo mo like this. I hope Motorola knows about this.
I haven't used this much but, so far, I thought that the results were hilarious!

I agree, slow motion with sound is cool, if you don't like, just cut the sound off with some software in the pc.

Hi there,
I don't know if its just me but, the sound quality for my video capturing is pretty bad. Its descent if your a little far away from it but if you get to close it just has a staticy noise on certain words you say. Is anyone else having this problem and can it be fixed?
Yeah, Nexus S sound recording, just like the Galaxy S sound recording, is pretty bad.
I'm sure everything video-wise will be fixed by developers... HD, sound. Whatever it may be, it'll probably exist soon enough.
Do you know what codec specification?

Hi man! I have read in other forums that the sound of recording is one of the few problems of the G Pro 2... i don't know if in the forums there are mod to solve this problem!
However, seeing your videos, i can view that the problem is strange... because i have read about low quality of sound in recording, not ground noise.... when my g pro 2 will arrive, i'm going to try this and let you know!
My phone is arrived and i think that you have an hardware problem because in my phone there is no problem

Hi all.
I've heared people saying video recording on lollipop is chunky. Someone can confirm??

I've seen no issue. Video recording works fine, camera is better than KK, at least for me.
Video recording is grainy at night and interiors, worst than k.k. furthermore I have lost the option effects in the camcorder menu, I will try downgrade.
Hey guys, I currently have an S6 and want to make the switch to the Z5 but was wondering about the lag while in camera.
I was at the store today and noticed when you're using the camera it lags moving it around. Do you guys experience this or was the store demo just not updated?
Any additional thoughts from anyone who has switched from the S6 to Z5?
I just tried right now, definitely no lag here

I have no lag. Do you mean the live demo? Viewfinder thing?
I have terrible lags all the time. Hoping marshmallow will fix it... Viewing Internet also lags but camera is just making me mad...
No lag here.

Yeah the camera lags or skips, more so in low light. Just the interface though and pics come out fine, albeit they take a bit to save sometimes.
If you're talking about framerate, yeah occasionally it seems like the framerate in Superior Auto mode is a bit low and choppy.
What version of the camera apk are you experiencing lag with, v2?

I have version 1.0. Any way to update?

If you mean Image Preview Lag so it can be only software issue
so don't worry about it simple update can solve it
:good:

Yes, xevious was on the ball. I was meaning to say framerate. It seemed to drop when in camera just moving the phone around.
Is this and image preview lag the same?
Such a long stretch from Z1 which had a 60fps preview.
Anyone else noticed considerable shutter lag? It always pauses and captures what happens a split second after the screen pauses....

It s Software Issue but it can be in application layer or maybe lower level.
When Camera Detect the light it needs process to show Preview
this can be lag in that process.
try another Firmware
I mean try to Flash stock firmware of another Region.
