Hi, same happens to me! When I pull down the notification bar I see the lag....I don't know why is this. But apart from that, I don't have any lag in the apps drawer or any other part, it runs really smooth. The notif bar is the only problem I can find.

Apps and data disappear frequently

Hey Guys...I have an Xperia E1 and have started getting problems with it.
I had installed a few apps but they frequently disappear at random intervals!
I have no idea what's going on! Sometimes, the icons on home screen, widgets, etc also disappear!
BTW, by apps disappearing, I mean they get deleted completely! I have to re install them again and they disappear again after a while!
The phone has 4.3
So, Do i hard reset it and hope for a change or are these a part of the issues in this phone? I've been waiting for the kitkat update but it doesn't seem to release any soon though a leaked pic suggests its sometime this month.
make a factory reset and see what happens. Its a strange bug.

Just updated to kitkat a couple of days before and then did a repair consequently in lieu of a factory reset.
So far so good will wait for a a day or two to confirm that the bug is gone.
Thanks for the quick reply :good:
Can confirm that there are no issues now hat I've done a repair. Kitkat is smooth as butter except for one bug.
The hangout app never seems to permanently stay as my default SMS app. It keeps switching to the default android message app...
Stranger still is that twhen the switch happens, the notifications tone doesn't play. I have to open the message app to realize that i have a message.
Is it just in my case or is anyone else facing the issue?

[Q] Screen reverse animation stopped working

This isn't a huge issue, but I noticed this today. Is there a way to fix this without a factory reset? The screen still reverses.

There is a setting in Settings -> Display -> Reversible animation . Did you happen to turn it off by accident ? Even if not, you might want to set/reset that option to see if it helps .
Thanks for the response. That not it. I also notice there's no rotation animation when apps rotate from potrait to landscape. They just switch.

Did you check the animation settings in Developer Options ?
Those looked normal. I gave up and did a factory reset and it working fine now. I noticed the issue after I install a beta version on adguard for what's that's worth.
try restarting the phone before doing factory restart. most of the small issues gets fixed after a reboot.

I tried everything I could think of before the reset. Rebooting was the first thing. A case like this is where I really miss having root access. If I had root I would have tried flashing a new Rom first.

MM bugs

hey guys, i've had a couple of bugs since i flashed MM, not major bugs...but still annoying
1. sometimes some of the apps lose their white background, they return to look like lollipop by themself, i have to disable and enable it again
2. message icon stay at the notification bar even after you read it, you need to open it again for it to disappear
3. finger print scanner, if it works as it should it works really fast, but sometimes it hangs to 3 seconds then it unlocks the phone ( this issue is present also on lollipop)
these are so far the bugs i encountered....is there any solutions? THANKS
Did you try factory reset?

U11's clock & phone calls stopped working after Oreo

Hey there,
I updated my U11 to Oreo yesterday and got a little surprise. The clock is completely out of sync and shows different times in the status bar clock and in the lock screen (both are off) and phone calls aren't going out (and sometimes in)
The dialer just doesn't respond and looks like that:

Looks very annoying... any 3rd party apps that might have done it (including those now uninstalled)?
Guess you tried a keyboard settings reset?
If so, clear keyboard data, then system cache then a hard shutdown.
If that doesn't get it the options dwindle. Before I do a global reset of settings I would look long and hard for the cause as it's most likely a settings issue.
If it's not doing anything else it's doubtful it's a bad firmware flash but that could happen. A hard reset wouldn't fix that and I really don't like using that as a solution for minor issues.
I use stock firmware and Samsung keyboard. Not using any third party apk

Most likely a setting issue... as usual.
Clearing the system cache never hurts and can fix many mysterious glitches... just don't hit hard reset accidentally.
