Krusell
Besides the curved back, Xperia Z1C and Xperia L are pretty much in similar size. Has anyone tried one of the case for Xperia L for Z1c?
I bought the Terrapin case from Amazon (UK), only cost a couple of quid so I wasn't expecting much but it's pretty good, very compact and doesn't add much bulk to the phone but seems sturdy enough and looks classy.
What do you think about the Roxfit Z1 Compact Gel case?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdjmO9Ibpik
Do you think the transparent back will stronger the problems with led flash in dark situations mentioned in other threads?
I have ordered my z1 compact, I have xperia s at the moment. I have always used a leather push/sock case. The dimensions of the two phones appear to be very similar, I can't find a leather push case for the z1 compact, could anyone confirm that an Xperia s case would be a good fit.

I ended up with this cheap case for my Lime green Z1C
the phone might be 5mm too long.
http://www.proporta.co.uk/roxy-sock-for-smartphones-mp3-players-other-devices
I got the Roxfit book flip case for my Z1C
Reason: Only case the shop had, and I always want it to be in a case.
Good points: All ports and buttons accesible. Can charge wired when open or closed. Can see notification lamp when closed.
Bad points: It doesn't stay shut. It was £15 (CPW) . It's flimsy. I don't much like it. Maybe I'll get used to it or maybe not.
Thing is, for £15, I'd want better. And I better make darned sure the next case I buy is the right one, so on the look out for suggestions. Must be mag charger compatible.
The Roxfit I have looks like it will only be compatible with magnetic cables when open, as it has a spine down that location.
Also, this case is inconvenient for the camera. And too slippy.
Er, I don't like it much do I?!
Going to buy some mag cables now.
I bought Orzly case from eBay. Not bad quality and price.

I'll use the wool sock until a good quality leather pouch style one becomes available.
I like the phone to be bare when using it but protected when in pocket/gf's handbag
Got the Roxfit clear back one.
It's awful. lol
The bottom sags lower than a granny's..... <insert expletive>
Perplexed as to how they can charge £15 for it. I got it free so can't complain too much. Might just risk the phone without one.
What I really want is a back screen protector. £10 for a screen and back protector is too steep, just need a cheapo back protector.
will the bumper cases work with the magnetic cradle? or would I need to take them out?
I know the cradle comes with a different size insert.. but is the magnetic strip raised enough to accomodate the bumper size?
To all those thinking "Hmm I may not get a case" I HIGHLY recommend doing so, as the glass back and front make it very slippy and at some point the law of averages dictates it WILL fall out of your hand on to something very hard.

The cheap bumper case I got from eBay doesn't work with the official DK32 magnetic dock - it sounds as though the magnet is connecting to the phone, but it doesn't charge. I'm assuming that the case is too thick to allow the charging pins to reach the phone. I am still looking for a case that will work with the magnetic dock - I don't like having to remove the case to charge the phone.
Have anyone tried if the Case mate Tough Case works with the DK-32 magnetic charging dock?
there's a case made for the z1f for mounting qx10 or qx100 cameras. ...not that i'm buying one of those. i ordered the terrapin.
I bought this one form Ebay... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/390757171...eName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

The screen protector is beyond useless (I order more separately anyway) but the case actually fits pretty well, all ports and buttons are easily accessible, and it is made of "soft touch" hard plastic that feels a little rubbery. All in all pretty smart, and it reminds me of the cases I see on iPhones... though Im sure the quality is less considering how much it cost. Either way, it will do the job of protecting from everyday scuffs.
Going for a casemate tough. With a screen protector I won't feel the need to baby this thing.

I've been scouring the web looking for the nexus car dock and some body cases, Even screen protectors. Has anyone seen anything yet?
Think the droid screen protector would fit?
the official accessories are not out yet. when theyre released they will be sold at the official site (www.google.com/phone).
The droid screen protectors wont fit because the nexus one screen panel is curved at the bottom, droid is completley square.

I had in the past bought cases from Ebay for my xperia x1 and went to the same seller and bought another case for the N1. I'll be reporting back on fitment when I receive it.
As of right now I just cutted a iPhone screen protector and made it fit my Nexus one lol. It's kinda ugly, but it'll do until Bestskinsever.com releases a skin for the N1.
The N1 box includes a case thats actually quite nice. Neoprene, fits like glove. Very thin (~1mm).

I'm talking about snapons and gels. The included case is nice but I hate having to slide the phone out its not practical. And usually I'm using the phone if its gonna be dropped haha.
I bought an Eddie Bauer Universal Cell phone Holster from Worst er Best Buy. Not the greatest, but it fits the phone and it holsters on my belt. I don't like having my phone in my pocket so it works for me.

Car Holder for $6
Here is a potential one.
It's not the official holder (that will most likely ring in around $29), but for under $6 it could be a good, inexpensive alternative.
The title says Touch HD, but the box says "universal" so not sure on this. But the horizontal mount is nice..

I also have 2 Nillkin cases, which are very thin (thinner than any tpu I've put on), but this one is definitely even thinner.
There are also "skins" you can put on the phone, but if you ever want to use the phone in a dock, then the skin will cause a problem...so I prefer a thin case that's quick and easy to remove.
Here is the ebay link where I bought mine from. The auction is over, but I'm sure if you click around on that page, you'll find another auction with the same case: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320735735257&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

thanks mm... that's exactly what i'm looking for. anyone else sell something like that in the states?
how long did yours take to arrive?
Anything from hong kong usually takes about 2-3 weeks to arrive
make certain that you notice there are areas of the phone that go unprotected with this case...it's light, quick to pop on and off, looks good, thin in your pocket. But if you drop it on the street, you're might have a problem.
what else do people suggest? if i wanted to go the full corner cover.
There is a pretty good tpu case at Walmart for like 15 bucks. Not thin compared to the nilkin, but covers the corners
EDIT: and is also one of the thinnest tpu cases i've seen
what's the brand name and do you have a link?

this is the case I have. Its cheap and its very thin. I have no problems with it. The only thing slightly off with this case is that it is difficult to hit the up/down volume button and the power button but its not too bad.
Ive been through 3 cases.
Thinnest probably is BodyGlove Grasp. I'm using that now.

Also, if your e looking for good protection, but fairly thin, easy to pull out of pocket, I recommend seidio surface case. It fully covers the case, but is thin and feels good in the hand. Someone here said the case scratched his phone, but I can't even see how thata possible because it is felt lined. I've had it over 2months now, and not a scratch. I got the optional holster with it, and I use it for most of my other cases. I have 8 for this p phone.

My friend and I using that case right now, we ordered 2 different date (different sellers) and I got one with full cover and he got the one look like one on the pic. Btw, good case for the price, fit very good, exept the corner on his case.
I've got the TPU case from Amazon (can't post links, not enough posts yet) -- it really isn't thin at all... The corner is not exposed on the one I have. I mean, it was only $2.80 + shipping.. it fits perfectly, but it is just too thick for my taste, so I never use it. Without the case, the phone is nice and thin, with the TPU case, it is just too thick. The whole point in getting this phone it that it was less than 11 mm thick. With the case, it is more like 13 mm... meh..
Similar to Nillkin but I like the color more:

Can you please check out for us if it's true...?
I guess Wireless Charging & NFC Signal will be blocked by the aluminum.
How do you like the fitting?
Will it scratch the phone when install, take out..?

I think this is the best feature of the Google bumper. It incorporates keypressers so pressing the buttons is not as difficult as cases that have simple cutouts. Would love to see a flip case with buttons similar to the stock bumper.
So, elty123, 10 days since you started this thread. Have you already received your order? We want some insights!
Does anyone have this case yet? I'm thinking of getting the pink one, not many femine covers out for this phone yet.
Still waiting for this case. Not sure if this will work from wireless charger, but my HP Touchpad works with the Touchstone even with a case on. This should be similar I guess.
Finally got the red case. build quality is pretty good, and it is nice to touch. However, it doesn't really look like leather - more like.texture plastic. I think It would look better if it is not a bright peachy red.
I don't know if there is a thin cast aluminum inside, however the cover is pretty sturdy. It also doesn't seems to lower reception strength when the case is opened. I have no wireless charger to test.

What can you say about the cuts to access the buttons? I heard they are quite narrow in the Nilkin case, making it a bit hard to press them.
And this is the first flip cover I use, and sometimes the cover doesn't close completely.... is it a problem for other flip cover?

Yep, pretty common.
The cut is not very clean (some residual plastic). Pressing the power is ok but the volume is a bit harder, probably because of the spine.
The texture of the cover is the same as the picture... just that it is a bit more shiny than I thought.
Also closing the cover seems to reduce signal strength by a few dBm. I can't really tell because the signal strength fluctuate a lot here, even without any case.
I ordered this case because it looks realllllly nice. I chose this over the nillkin because I wanted it in brown.

I'm currently using a magnetic charging cable and it's great not having to ever open the usb flaps and use the usb socket each time I charge, but it's a drag having to keep my case open while it charges; plus, it can take up to a minute to attach the damn thing. I got a cheap case off eBay which is starting to break so I'm after a new one but it seems impossible to know which cases will fit in the dock.
If you have a dock and a case/cover, and assuming you recommended the case/cover, could you reply here stating the brand/model? Thanks!
Cruzerlite Bugdroid does not fit
I have the Cruzerlite Bugdroid TPU shell and can confirm this does not fit the stand with the standard adapters. I don't like the Book style cases and am not impressed by the Sony versions anyway. The gap in the dock is very thin so I'd be amazed if there are any cases that will fit with the standard adapters and protect the phone from drops. I should have checked this before buying the dock. I'm now looking to modify like another user on here with sticky backed foam.

I scooped this one off eBay:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/291245971777
Fits well and I like the way they did the cutouts because it seems to keep the power or camera buttons from getting pressed by mistake when the phone is in my pocket. The insert I used for the dock is stamped 34B and I think it's the insert for the Xperia Z3 Compact but it fits perfectly.
I have a Tudia case off Amazon, and the DK48 inserts are too thin . Looking to go the foam insert route, or dremel one of the inserts to open it up a tad. Thought about returning it and buying the Z2 dock (DK36). But it is more expensive (on Amazon at least), and I am not guaranteed it will work either.

The only thing is that you need to take out that plastic adapter since the case is too bulky. If you run it naked like in this picture with the plastic adapter off it works nicely and the phone doesn't feel loose at all while charging:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/TUDIA-Bumper-Protective-Compatible-Verizon/dp/B00OPW1SD2
It has a dock port cutout,
However i bought a replica of the sony charger, not the real deal and they gave me 3 adapters all the same size, So i had to do alittle DIY and sanded one of the adapters to fit my case, It works perfectly and with the Tudia case it's so much easier to slot the dock in
With using the Cruzerlite TPU cases, which charging dock will it fit it? i have read that one of the verizon mics is moved slightly to the side than the other models. so one of the mics will be covered up if it wasn't designed for verizon version. i would make sure any case you buy says it will work on verizon model. i just got a 8 dollar case off ebay when i picked up my note 4. mine is a sprint variant. i am pretty happy with it for the price

diztronic is the best tpu case hands down and $9.99 and works fine on my verizon note 4

Nice looking case. How is the side grip when cold? For example, the Samsung protective case plus and Verus Thor get harder, uncomfortable and have less grip when cold but have very good fit, everywhere. Do you have any other cases to compare it to? Could you post some pictures showing the USB port, mics, and headphone jacks, please? And one more close-up on the bezel lip.
TIA.
haven't noticed a difference when the temp changes. we have had a few days in the 30's around here this week and don't notice any difference. it's only been on the phone 3 or 4 days. i just got it in the mail. still waiting on my glass screen protector to get in but i don't imagine it will be a problem
pics arent all that great because i was using the wifes old iphone 4

Thanks. The pictures are fine except that I can't tell if the white outer rim is soft TPU or a harder compound like a polycarbonate?
Also, how would you describe the grip of the sides and back shell?
TIA.
If you want full TPU, the Diztronic is the best game in town. If you want something with a lot more style and great fit, the Samsung protective cover should be given a look.

Grip is ok. I would think there are better cases for that. I wouldnt really say its bad or great but just ok. The black is more a firm rubber feel and the white is a hard plastic feeling material. The edges catch some of the black softer material when u grip it which helps a little. For the price i would say definately worth the money. I swap phones like crazy so i cant see paying more than 30 for a case when i will prob be rocking something else in 6 months or so.
I use the tech21 impactology case. I've dropped my phone 4 or 5 times (slips out of pockets when getting out of my car) and no marks or damage at all. I bought mine from Verizon so a little more expensive, but didn't want to deal with the mic hole issue
I have the spigen capsule, great case and I can even get the note 4 into it with the wireless charging battery cover on. Admittedly its a bit of a squeeze and using the heart rate monitor is a no-go
I just got the Samsung official protective case. I love it. I have a diztronic as well, and it's great, but damn this samsung one is thinner, makes the phone feel overall better and the buttons aren't as easy to push as the diztronic. it's a great case!

Diztronic for sure

This case is the best TPU case hands down. I have the diztronic and uag case and this case wins it for me. Def check it out.
I'm waiting for this to arrive

If it sucks, I'm gonna get the diztronic.
The Samsung case is the best case I own, but I don't consider it a true TPU case due to the textured back. As for the best 100% TPU case, that title goes to the Diztronic, which I also own.
