note 3 lte - Galaxy Note 3 General

hi guys thinking of buying a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9005 (Black) LTE 32GB what is the difference between this and the normal note 3? why is it called LTE? thanks in advance

LTE means that it has 4g. There is no "normal" note 3.

[Q] GT-P6200 vs GT-P7560

Hello all!
I've been getting no where with this by searching the web, and I'm not getting any help from the 3 Samsung numbers that I've called.
So, I'm a T-mobile USA customer who owns a Samsung Vibrant, and the original Galaxy Tab 7. Once I saw the Tab 7.0 Plus and the Voice Call support I knew that I had to have it. I put off getting one because I heard that T-Mo was going to carry it, only to find out the T-Mo version doesn't have the voice calling.
So I've been doing research on the web and I have found the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus with the 2 product numbers, P6200 and P7560, but I can't figure out what the differences are. I can't find them on the same site to get a full side by side comparison.
Can anyone shed any light on this?
Thanks!
Reggie.
PS: Sorry if this is a noob question.
I have never seen the 7560 model number before, but that would be more consistent with a Galaxy Tab 10.1 variant.
GT-P6200 - International 3G
GT-P6210 - International wifi
??? (Something along the lines of SGH-Txxx) for T-Mobile
For the 10.1
GT-P7500 - International 3G
GT-P7510 - International wifi

What is the difference between different letters in front of NOTE 3 ??

Hi guys
I'm planning to buy SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 3 from US probably (I'm from Europe) and I don't know the difference between NOTE 3 N9005 and
SM-N9005 and which one is better or the are the same? I think that SM-N9005 is from VERIZON network in USA.What is the difference and will it work in Europe?
Thanks

I ask myself the same question.
I do not claim to give a complete answer, but as far as my research (15 mintes) tells me, these are Samsung-intern designations that give information on the exact hardware specifications.
In case of the note 3, they mainly differ in supported data transfer standards, such as g2, g3, lte (these are German terms, no idea if they're globally applicable, the general idea should be clear nonetheless).
The weaker octacore chip can (or will or should) only be used with devices that support only standards g3 or lower.
hope this helps and hope i'm not completely wrong here.
btw, sm-n9005 has the stronger quadcore chip so you'd be safe buying that one.

Thank you for your reply.I searched internet as well, and I agree with you,but I just found out that VERIZON's NOTE 3 model has other numbers. It is : SM-N900V – U.S. Verizon Galaxy Note 3 !!! What does SM-900V now means?
Maybe they misinformed me that it is SM-N9005.
check out the us Samsung shopping site. googling note 3 sprint should get you there as well.
There you can compare full specs for all carriers

Really, you could not read the thread that is already stickied at the top?

SM stands for Samsung Mobile. That's all. N9005 is the short name, SM-N9005 is the full product name.

Yes I read that SM-N900V is VERIZON's model od Note 3,but also read somewhere that they have LOCKED BOOTLOADER.And after reading Verizon's NOTE 3 forum I found out that VERIZON still don't have KIT KAT update for their NOTE 3 (which is not the case with other mobile cariers in USA).So this makes VERIZON not that good idea.
Does anyone have any experience with it,and what problems will I have if the bootloader is locked for N-900V Note 3?

That just means that development for a variant with locked bootloader is going to be slower than unlocked variants. I'm not American but if I can give any advice it's this: don't go for carrier-locked variants ever if you can avoid it. Carrier contracts are more expensive in the long run than a one-off payment and their lust for control causes slower updates (if any) and more difficult development. Don't support those companies, just don't.

Being in Europe you should definitely go with the SM-N9005 . It's the most popular LTE radio model, and the most xda developed. Not really sure why you'd want to go with the Verizon Model.
P_
I'm considering NOTE 3 from USA,because I have someone over there ,who can get it for me cheaper then in Europe. That is why.But after reading all of the stuff (not that good) about VERIZON's version,I better not do it.But we will see,it depends on the price.

Just buy the International version which is SM-N9005. If it is from a carrier especially in US, the bootloader is locked. It might not work for your country since you are in France but you can unlock it. If you are concern for the update, you can update manually by using Odin. It is easier to wait for the stock firmware download to be finished that wait for the OTA to come

Is Gear S fully compatible with the Galaxy Note PRO 12.2 LTE Int. sim lock free ver?

Hello, I checked two Samsung websites. Both do not list the Note PRO 12.2 as compatible with the Gear S. I contacted Samsung. The guy said the same thing. When I asked him the reason, he told me that he just read from the list. In practice, are they fully compatible with each other? Has anybody tried? Please share experience. Thanks.
